Carcass are the most underappreciated god of death metal. I also love that the drummer can do more with a 5 piece rock kit and 4 cymbals than most drummers can do with usually twice that.

I fucking LOVE Motörhead, but I have to agree with the others . At that point, for all we knew, we had infinite time to see Motörheadagain, as Lemmy, at that time, seemed like he was going to be rocking hard well into in his 90's before he finally left us. Plus, Carcass is way more important and influential to me personally.

One of the best live bass tones I’ve heard in my 30+ years of punishing my eardrums. I’m not surprised I see an Ampeg on stage behind him. They’re known for thick and meaty bass tone.

i'm really happy to see them live last sunday at Indonesia, they performed just like what they always did on their stage perform on every videos i watched on youtube. And even older they still can play their old songs faster. Carcass is really kicking ass !!!!! yeaaah

Love this guy's playing too, he doesn't really color the original drum parts much at all. Just plays it like the record, nice and solid.

The arc of this band is inspiring. They stared out not thinking the band would come to anything. They we beginner musicians at best but Earache records saw potential. The second album was considerably better if you can get over the out of time drums, occasional out of tune gutair and a record cover art with dead and festering life forms. But then they dropped Discanting the Insalubrious my mind was totally fucking blown. It sounded like they all took retreats and did nothing but practice 15 hours a day. The songs take different directions that seem effortlessly. And today they are tighter and better than ever.
So true, man. Remkarably tight players, all of them. Necroticism is incredible because you could hear the chaos behind their evolution still. And Michael Amott helped bring them to that next level.
Except their 2nd album is still the best thing they’ve ever done
The solos on "Incarnated Solvent Abuse" first gave me the idea to consider Bill Steer the goregrind Marty Friedman. The whole Necroticism album is the perfect balance of melody/harmony and grinding riff madness

There's quite a connection in appearance. There's the hair color/shape, the facial hair, while different, but looks a bit alike, and both play(ed) Rickenbacker basses. So yeah, if you're shortsighted, you can mistake them for each other.

At the beginning it was full - 10 minutes later the people start to leave to watch Motorhead's concert, taking place at the same time 500 m ahead.
In the end only the TRUE were there.
This concert was a life dream for me.

I would never have left Carcass for Motorhead. Saw them live in 2009 when they were touring with Daniel Erlandsson, Michael Amott was still there I enjoyed them more than Iron Maiden at the end lol

cos the sound you hear now is for monitoring use. it definitely sounds really bad but it helps PA to get the balance and then set the EQ well without any unwanted rendering.

You think the sound is bad? Gotta read the disclaimer at the beginning.
Two things:
1. It definitely doesn't sound like shit. You want pristine and sterile sound? - get yourself a CD.
2. Something you might not be aware: the gig was probably mixed twice: on one board for a live performance for the audience, on another one for TV. It's almost impossible to make both at the same time perfect. Guess which one takes precedence...
BTW, most live gigs on CDs have studio overdubs. That's why they sound so well.

Bill in my opinion fuckin best metal voice of any genre beast. Saw them in San Francisco and thought holy shit! Went out and bought surgical steel.. top to bottom one of the needy albums ever. Bills voice unmatched by anyone. Carcass have earned their shit🤘
