- Zoella is a British vlogger/beauty youtuber that has been around since the old times of youtube, but recently her channel has passed away and today I'm going to discuss why that happened, from the 12 days of christmas calendar, to jaackmaate, to girl online and to vlogging in a car with Alfie Deyes, Zoella has done it all and today we're gonna take a look at these things.

I stopped watching her about 2 years ago when I turned 16. That's when I realised she's so immature and acts like a teenager

*I didn't stop watching Zoella because of her controversies or the things you listed* I stopped watching her because I grew up. I'm 18 now and her brand never changed. It's stale, old, repetitive and her 'girl next door' image isn't genuine anymore because she's extremely wealthy and lives in mansions which I am proud of her success, but she's not relatable to me anymore. It's a double edged sword for her I guess. But her channel is very basic and not as vibrant and full of life as it once was to me when I was younger.
And the thing is I don’t think it was meant to make fun of working class people, he’s just that out of touch and living in a bubble that he doesn’t understand at all.

Deleting this account actually I feel like a lot of teens don’t follow her as much anymore. Sure maybe 13/14 years olds but not many above that. I’m 17 and I used to watch her when I was about 12/13 but she never changed her content so I ultimately got bored and moved to people with more interesting, entertaining content; who aren’t afraid to change up their content when needed. Believe it or not us teenagers aren’t all brain dead to this sort of stuff

I think she's just not relatable anymore. No shade to her, but her whole branding is 'hey I'm just a normal girl filming in her bedroom wearing clothes and makeup from the same shops as you, look I have an ordinary boyfriend as well'. That doesn't work when she's incredibly rich, lives in a big house and can afford designer goods.

I don't think Zoella understands that flashing your hauls and million pound house is not relatable to her audience anymore. When she started out filming in her bedroom she probably was like a friend to the young people who watched. Now Zoella has been launched into multi-million pound wealth by her audience watching, liking, buying her merch. But where did this get the audience? Nowhere. She's living this life the average young girl can't relate to, and still expecting them to prop up her lifestyle by flogging them overpriced merch. It's not particularly zoellas fault. Resentment, jealousy, bitterness - all very human emotions likely to make you click that unsubscribe button.
If people have earned what the buy why can't they show it off? Grow the fuck up jealous bitch

Why so angry? I shared why I thought her channel is declining in subs. I agree, you should be able to show of your stuff, if you're the kind of person that wants to do that. I am explaining that some viewers won't want to carry on watching that.
I agree it may not even be envy, at least not conscious envy. A lot of her appeal was that relatable girl from a small town filming videos from her bedroom/flat. Occasional hauls, usually at affordable prices turned to constant hauls with high priced items and Instagram feed full of luxury fashion. Makeup videos turned from higher-end drugstore makeup to high-end makeup, a book that seemed like something you'd read off wattpad, suddenly wasn't hers. None of these things are innately wrong, par the ghostwriting (which in itself isn't wrong either) but it loses its relatability and with it the audience that was attracted to it. Lying and deceiving audiences loses her 'girl next door', nice girl persona, so any leftover fans lose interest because she isn't the same person anymore. Not to mention that a lot of them outgrew her.
I agree, it is hard to relate being the same age and working very hard and having an average sized house, then seeing a mansion someone has from sitting at home filming their life is not what I want to watch when I get home from a long day of work.
Jay Tee lol I’m a teen and I watch plenty of other UA-camrs who are way richer than me and I still find it enjoyable. I think the problem is that her content is overdone and she’s not doing anything new.
I used to really, really love Zoella's channel. She had such a bright, cheerful presence and her videos often had this really cozy atmosphere to them, like you were staying in for the night with a friend. But I feel like she's definitely lost a lot of that warm coziness and instead become materialistic and almost like she's trying to present herself as more "sophisticated." Her overall brand has just morphed into more of a cold, ~chic high-fashion look, which is sad because that's not what originally drew me to Zoella in the first place.

And I didn’t like a video of her birthday in New York where she was asking her audience to donate for charity when her man was lavishing her with a very expensive necklace, it was awkward. I know it’s their money and they can do whatever they want with it, but at the same time don’t ask me for money when I’m poor and you got way more than me and can she at least say “Whatever you guys donate I’m doubling with my money to be more fair.” Ugh now I’m rambling. I honestly don’t care that they got rich, but they way they go about certain things. I couldn’t stand all the “merch” they were throwing in my face to purchase constantly, it was half asses too.

Tbh another reason her channel is probs dying is because back in 2011 she was a beauty guru before there were people like James Charles/Jeffree star/whoever else does full on makeup looks. Her makeup was good for back then but nowadays people’s makeup is more than just some foundation and a bit of brown eyeshadow so who’s gonna follow her for her makeup looks

I actually don’t like the make up looks most big beauty gurus create, as they are overly heavy and not really something I’d ever wear. However, Lisa Eldridge, an actual make up artist, makes wonderful tutorials that focus on beautiful wearable makeup and making skin look like skin. So even in the natural makeup category there are a lot of people who are better at it.

I also think her channel is dying because her content, while inoffensive, is stale. Sure, the teenage fans might enjoy it but she's not growing up with her old subscriber base unlike, say, Shane Dawson who's been on UA-cam forever but who's changed his content over time. I followed Zoella when we were both in our late teens/early 20s and I really liked her beauty videos. However, now I'm older I feel like I've outgrown her views and it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the subscribers she's lost are women who've done the same.
Ritaluvzbeauty It's not so much that she does beauty videos as it is that her whole channel feels very 'teenage', especially her challenge videos. I get it to a certain extent: the majority of her fans are young girls so you want your videos to appeal to them. However, Zoella is nearly 30 and so are the fans she started out with. The fans she has now will also get older and move on. I know for me personally that, as a married working woman, Zoella's bubblegum girly teen videos just don't appeal to me. She didn't always have that vibe: the reason I liked her earlier stuff is because it felt like a normal young woman giving honest reviews about products/chatting like you would with your friends. As she's got bigger, she's gone more in the teen direction because they're obviously her biggest fans.
Ritaluvzbeauty I think she need to change her approach to her videos they all seem the same. Maybe she could throw some humor in her videos. They all seem to nice and happy and that's just not real. She doesn't tell genuine. That's how she can grow and change for her audience

I don't condone bullying someone for a speech impediment or for not being able to say a word correctly. But Alfie's pronounciation of the word "Exactly" is my own personal hell. Essactly.
I'm zoellas age and I think the reason I've personally gone off her is due to the content not being relatable. Most people her age are balancing full time jobs, social life and paying bills. She makes videos of herself buying a 70 quid lipstick while us normal lot are paying bills and buying food not living for materialistic things, this is the sort of thing you do when you have your first job at 16 and spend your wage on whatever you like, just not relatable at an older more mature age

AudieJane I know that Primak isn’t expensive, however, constantly buying multiple bags worth of their clothes sets a bad example for her audience. It makes it seem like it’s perfectly normal to constantly buy and throw out clothes. This promotes fast fashion and it’s actually a lot cheaper to buy a few high quality clothes that will last multiple years.
Totally agree. All the UA-cam's channels from back in the day, like marcus, jim, tanya and Louise, are dead. For example jim can barely get 30k views on 2mil sub channel because their audience have grown up and can see though their manipulation and fakeness, zoella is heading in the same direction

( i mean i do watch Shane Dawson and Ryland but they stopped uploading it feels like they upload once a month.)

I used to be a die hard fan a few years back when she lived in her flat in Brighton and personally, I think that was her peak. Once she moved into that million pound house, her content wasn’t relatable because she had a big house and could afford expensive things, whereas I was a young teen in a working class family. Even in her favourite videos, the products she’d show would be expensive and her average viewers couldn’t afford to buy. I’m 15 now and just can’t relate to her content due to everything kind of portrayed in a “wow look at me I have so much money” way. She isn’t an average girl anymore, she’s a multi-millionaire and so obviously nobody can relate to that

Most people cannot afford to have their therapist put everything down just for them. While emergencies happen and therapists will take emergency calls, most expect that you wait for your regularly scheduled appointment. Being able to have your therapist on speed dial is not what most people are able to do.

I don’t think Zoella is dying, I think that type of youtuber is dying as a whole, not just her. Channels like Miranda sings, Tyler Oakley, Joey graceffa are dying much faster eg only getting a few 100k views a video. Zoella is doing far better than that.

Actually, Superwoman is doing surprisingly well - and she actually makes quality videos. She's one of the only 'old' youtubers that I can still stand - although I only recently started watching her again after about two years of being unsubscribed.
Sam I think that all the old channels are dying. Creators like Emma chamberlain, the Dolan twins, James Charles, etc are the new hot channels. But I’m pretty sure a couple years down the road they’ll be old creators too

The highlight of their career was when they both lived in flats and we're young and playful now they're conversations are so dull and when they moved to the first house it was like ok u can afford to buy a expensive house at a young age so we won't stop u but now they live in a frickin mansion but not only that the whole atmosphere of their videos change with every new house for example I went to visit her channel like a week ago and through out it she looked bored tired and about to cry? great commentary i agree, I'm from brighton where they're from, same year at school as alfie, and I'm embarrassed about the attitude that they have developed towards people through their huge wealth. it would be great to see them doing some charitable work for their city as ambassadors or something- huge poverty exists side by side with vast wealth, homelessness has doubled in the last couple of years making it the second worst in england after london, the councils budget has been more than halved by tory cuts in the last 8 years, council tax and rent is increasing and the second highest in the country after london as well, yet parts of our famous seafront is crumbling and our community is trying to gather funds to get it rebuilt by ourselves, among many other problems. theres so much they could be helping with or drawing attention to using their platform, but none of the many youtubers including pewdiepie who live here are. i suspect they're not even aware. a rich youtuber's life is a bubble. also your shirt button's undone :D

You wouldn’t believe the scandals people over look for their other favorite you tubers, so I doubt these things had much to do with her downfall. It just kind of makes sense that she’s faded away. I mean she’s been doing the same thing for like.. ten years? Eleven? How many June favorites can someone watch before they’re just sick of it. Plus, she kinda has no personality. At least not a special/unique one.

I think it could also partly be that, because of these controversies, or at least the most recent one, she may pop up in a recommended or trending (the only times I've ever seen her pop up in trending for Australia since 2015 was the Jaackmate video and her apology) and they realise they have outgrown her channel & unsubscribe. But you're right, I still am subscribed and watch some of Tana Mongeau's videos and I don't even like her, so fans are not going to care.
Personally, I rarely watch her videos because she doesn’t put background music in and it makes them really uncomfortable and awkward to watch because you’re listening to a lot of blank noise. But she rarely uploads anymore anyway, honestly I don’t know how they have so much money when Zoe has basically stopped doing UA-cam and a lot of people don’t like Alfie

Her vibe just irratates me. And she said she wrote girl online or something but she had a ghostwriter, so she lied. As a writer mysrlf im disappointed.
I've seen people doing the "eat for [insert small amount of money here] days" but the way Alfie did it seems totally inappropriate. The people I saw were actually doing it to help people on a budged with creative meal recipes and budget tips but the way he did it definitely seemed insulting.

I dont think Zoella's channel died because of those reasons, I mean I think those points did effect her channel somewhat, but I believe the main reason she's losing subscribers is because her viewers are growing out of her brand.
Let me explain: years ago, I was a huge fan of Zoella, because of her cute, quirky personality and I think many of her followers did too. But it's been years, and Zoella did not change the format of her videos, she's still doing the same kind of videos she did years ago with little to no change. The makeup, beauty, and fashion community on UA-cam continue to change their style of making videos, making it more relevant to the current trend but she doesn't. She got quite boring, but I believe her true fans, mostly young teens still support her and get her the hundred thousand to million views every video. But the rest unfollowed or stopped watching.
I also think Zoe doesn't care since she's rich and has other projects to worry about improving her youtube channel
Fatima D finally someone who shares the same sentiments as me! I remember how big she was when I was 11/12 but now I’m 15 and haven’t watched her in months. Her content is all the same and I stayed for her personality until I grew out of her vlogs and hauls since they were all the same.
Maybe she doesn't want to follow all the "trends". Maybe she is just being who she is not who others want her to be!

When I was younger I actually watched her, but when she moved to Brighton she seemed to become more and more pretentious. She only did videos on stuff she bought and I stopped enjoying her. She went from a really nice shy girl to a woman who seemed to just show off.. at least to me,

I get what you're saying, but I'm 28 and also wouldn't say I "act my age" or like an adult and I certainly don't act mature, but I definitely do not act like I did when I was a teenager thankfully. Emma Daly Emma Daly that’s the thing I don’t know how your supposed to act as an adult because there isn’t a rule book. On her 5 minutes videos she’s acting very happy and chirpy but I’d expect that from a social influencer to be honest.
I think I act a bit teenager whatever that means because I just want to have fun but I also pay bills and a mortgage. I think some people do forget zoella created a brand and has a house and adult responsibility so not as child like as people like to make out.
I honestly believe her new book is way more for a mature audience as teenage kids wouldn’t be doing hosting or events in their own house in my opinion it’s a step in the right direction
What I was trying to say is that her content hasn't evolved throught the years. Her content and her personality are still exactly the same as they were 5-10 years ago. I grew up and her channel hasn't and that"s why I find it disingenuine and a bit uncomfortable to watch because I enjoy watching people who are being honest and aren't putting on an act. Of course she can still make mistakes and have fun, I'll never critisize that, but I personally just think it's strange when you don't show any growth and you can't deny that getiing older also means growing up and reinventing yourself, becoming more of an adult and acting more like it. Doesn't mean she hasn't grown, but she doesn't show anything new and that's why I personally don't like to watch her videos anymore.
I didn't really follow much of anything about her besides her YT channel, but I've noticed these stuff myself. Also, her videos got long af, and it's mostly her having inside jokes with friends, or random chats that bring no entertainment or value. Seems like she's too lazy to edit her footage. And god, how much cheap junk she buys ALL THE TIME. I'm all about enjoying life with fair earnings, but come on, that is absolutely tacky. Don't even get me into her lines of products, either. There's been no personality growth in years - if anything, she acts more and more childish and she's almost thirty. But besides the materialism and shallowness, I think we're all on board with one fact - The worst thing about her is Alfie Days.

Her vlogs are around 30mins long. That isn't all she films. I enjoy watching her life. There's always something going on and I actually find her to be more mature and genuine now to when she used to be about 4 years ago. Both her and alfie take criticism as "hate". They have businesses, yes businesses and not "relatable UA-cam channels". And a part of that will be criticism. Some harsh some genuine. Ignoring that and not learning anything from it is immature. Zoella has this habit of never taking responsibility for "business" decisions going wrong. What kind of goodwill her company will have outside UA-cam in the real world?
I remember being such a fan of zoella because i was young and I liked her cheerful and bubbly personality. I remember buying her books and thinking " oh this is different" in a good way, i liked the books because it was a story and not how i came to fame or whatever. But after hearing that she didn't even write the books just made me feel....idk disappointed. By I've grown up now and her whole theme is still cheerful and bubbly but its getting boring, don't get me wrong i love cheerful people they put me in a nice mood but she's been doing this for years and it doesn't seem as genuine..
The best thing about the Zoella advent calender drama was when Poundland came out on twitter to make fun of her. Their account is a fucking gem.
That whole ghost writing thing pissed me off so much because as a writer, that was crap for her to literally take credit for something that she never wrote. Writing is hard but to use a ghost writer is gross and just plain stupid.
I loved those books, I used to idolise her. But to take credit for someone's hard work is shocking. Everyone needs help, I am a writer with a learning disability, I struggle lots. She's smart, she has the platform, she has a pre made fan base. I'm writing for non of that, I'm writing because I love it. Even if my first book doesn't sell, seeing it in my hands with a cool cover and the new book smell is all I want.

A ton of people have help, and i guarantee that the person who helped write the book did so completely willingly, and sure as hell for paid for it. The book was popular because she was popular and people who like her wanted to read what she came up with. I have books on my shelves that have multiple writers; it doesn't mean that the original author took credit for others work, sometimes people just get stuck or aren't sure where to go with the story. It was her first work, it's understandable to want help to make sure it isn't awful before getting it published.

Exactly. I feel gross watching them. If you’re entire existence is based on endless consumption - constantly buying new things with no awareness of what that means - it just appears to be empty. Even when they do things like spend time with friends or cook or entertain, they feel the need to buy new things like decorations or new homewares. Where does it all go? And frankly who needs that much. It sends a pretty worrying message to young viewers about what one actually needs for happiness. Yes they work hard and consistently, so they are entitled to spend money how they wish, but personally I find it a bit off putting and I’m certain others do. There are so many you tubers that intersperse their hauls with their hobbies or activities and their lives just seem more full. Also I think a lot of Zoella’s appeal was as ‘big sister’ / relatable friend, and now in her late 20s she seems like she is walking a weird line between a private adult wealthy life where she is a business woman and this childlike adolescent... and the result of that is that you get this woman surrounded by adult life (beautiful home, abundance of possessions, holidays, a sexual long term relationship), and teenage giggling and acting silly. And it just doesn’t work anymore. The result is that nobody really feels they know her and her brand is strained because of it.
I totally agree! They consume so much unnecessary stuff it’s insane, especially Alfie who buys new clothes every time he has some kind of event to go to. Like just buy a few good quality button up shirts and that’s all you need. There was also a time where Nala peed on a blanket and instead of just washing it they threw it in the bin I really hope they donate the stuff they don’t use to charity stores.

I used to love her channel so much but she hasn’t grown up in the slightest, I’ve grown up and she just seems to have stayed the same.
I also really hate how her anxiety is always used as an excuse, that’s not how real life works, I have severe general anxiety but that doesn’t change that I’m generally still expected to function like someone who doesn’t have anxiety. She talks herself out of thinks by using it as an excuse but I could never get out of work or school just saying “oh my anxiety is pretty bad and I don’t think I can handle it today”, I think it’s unhealthy to use it as an excuse all the time too, it makes yourself think you can’t do anything. To me it makes it seem like she thinks she’s above everyone.

fairydustcaitlin you don’t know me at all, I was diagnosed with anxiety 2 years ago & am very much still having difficulty living with it, I love how open Zoë is about her anxiety & I think it’s absolutely great that she’s raising awareness but when I unsubscribed to her (a few years ago) she was using it as an excuse for all the things she couldn’t do and it was an unhealthy way for me to look at things bc I don’t have the luxury of doing that, I’m happy for her that she does have the luxury of being able to turn things down bc of her anxiety but it’s not an attitude I can have which is why I unsubscribed.
I’m continuously working on not letting my anxiety inhibit my chances at doing what I want & it’s incredibly hard, seeing Zoë not pushing through generally made me feel more hopeless, bc if she had anxiety this bad and had difficulty dealing with it how was I gonna be able to deal?
I don’t know if she’s still like this, maybe she has become way better at it, if so I apologise for phrasing it as if I meant the current Zoë, I used to adore her & I’m still very thankful for the insights she gave me into anxiety. I just wish she’d also talk about her anxiety when everything is going or seems to be going well, I don’t remember her saying she was really anxious but did something regardless, it always seemed to be really great until she got a panic attack and then used it as an (a totally valid btw I’m not saying it’s not a valid excuse) excuse to not do something.
I also now realise my original comment was phrased in a way that could definitely sound differently than intended as I have no problem with her dealing in anxiety using her own ways, if what she does works for her then I wish her all the best, her content just doesn’t work for me.

I feel like now her channel might make a comeback. She's pregnant and a lot of her initial audience are now at the age where they or their friends might be pregnant. Plus this would bring in a whole older audience that were too old for her initially. I've also found that now she isn't attempting to be relatable as she was before which makes her vlogs now quite nice to watch.
All she posts is ads with her baby (gross) so maybe or maybe not. She hasn’t posted on her main channel since this video was made only on her vlog channel. I watched her as a teenager, bought the book, couldn’t afford the calendar (luckily). Now im getting married and starting a family but have no interest in comparing myself to youtube personality that is not real. Rather watch TiffyQuake for realistic pregnancy and baby vlogs.

Because she and her boyfriend are CLEARLY taking advantage of the subscribers, I used to like her, but after the Xmas, and after seeing how much her boyfriend sell his logo in a frame, I have no respect for them both. All they care about is how to profit from the subscribers! If it was like they charge normal prices then yeh good for them I support creativity, but to charge 10 times the correct price is unacceptable.

I remember genuinly liking her and enjoying her videos like 7 years ago when I was 12. As I was growing up I just started losing interest in her. It wasn't even about her scandals, there was literally nothing inspiring or entertaining to watch. When her book came out and broke J.K.Rowlings record I was so over her. She probably never even read that book to even know what that writer wrote in there instead of her. She and her boyfriend seem very entitled, spoiled, lazy and money hungry. They don't even put any effort into their youtube (except for Alfie with that video, he put so much work in and went through so much pain and suffer as he was struggling to survive, sarcasm obviously, but it sure did seem like the end of the world for him.)

if u actually do ur math, her YT channel stared in 2009 which means it was 9 years ago from now. and if u actually watch some of her vids, you could hear her talk about some of the bits in the book that came from her personal life and that she talks about the characters too. so she would of had to of read the book to at least know the characters names. if zoe and Alfie were lazy, one they wouldn't even have a YT channel and second, they wouldn't have merch or a mansion of a house. oh by the way, if you search Thatcherjoe, you'll find his YT channel
She didn't need to do her math, she never said anything about when Zoella's YT channel started, she was talking about when she watched it. You also took the not reading her own book comment way too seriously. She's obviously read the book, it has her name on it. I don't think she genuinely believes Zoe hasn't read the book. It was just a dramatic statement meant to bring attention to the whole problematic book situation. And saying they have a YT channel and merch is not an argument for them not being lazy. Alfie literally records himself doing cool stuff all day and talks about all the free stuff companies send him that he doesn't need and has enough money to buy himself anyway. Then he sits in his posh mansion and adds all the clips together. It requires minimal effort and zero creativity. Zoe's videos aren't much better. Half of them are her showing off all the things she buys that she doesn't need. And maybe they do put effort into making and producing these videos. But the entirety of their content depends on them doing cool things and buying stuff. Doesn't sound too hard to me. And the merch. None of these UA-camrs are building clothing brands from the ground up. They are slapping stuff on t-shirts and hoodies and attaching their name to it. They have teams of people that do all the marketing and production stuff. Maybe they do sit through meetings and try out the different clothes to find what's the best quality, but coming out with merch really isn't that hard. It would take me about 5 minutes to go on a site like RedBubble and put my name on some hoodies. It doesn't have to be any more complicated than that, these people aren't that important. I don't want to hate on anyone. I use to love their videos and am still subscribed to them despite not watching their videos. I just think a lot of UA-camrs get so much more credit than they deserve. People just act like because they have a lot of money they must be working super hard. (I'm not saying that no UA-camrs or wealthy people work hard) When in reality they just had more/ better opportunities and they can sell anything with their name on it and people will buy it. Sorry for the rant.
Joe has three channels, a main channel, a vlog channel and a gaming channel. He’s started out a company with Caspar, his ex-roommate. He has three books and actually he’s still quite active on his main channel, i don’t think he’s uploaded for the past two weeks on his main channel but other than that he’s been uploading on his main channel and the uploads have been consistent on his vlog and gaming channel. So he’s still a thing and he’s growing. I’d agree, he’s amazing, very talented and very funny and really cares about his fans.

zoella has been around for years, her original fanbase has grown up and her content hasn't evolved at all. but her content also doesn't fit the new generation of youngsters on youtube now either, because as much as she tries to act younger she is still nearing her 30's. not to mention you have a new crop of young influencers phasing in, why wouldn't you watch them instead?
she is still doing well in terms of views but she isn't really talked about as much. i think like some others have stated, girls like bethany mota have literally died. in a way it's a bit sad, as much as we dislike some of these youtubers, they were still part of the golden years for people who got on youtube in the early 2010's.
i just think that zoella isn’t evolving with the times and that her channel is static. like makeup artists are a lot more innovative and creative nowadays (or at least better at makeup lmao she doesn’t really know how to blend her eyeshadow) vloggers/storytime youtubers usually have a lot more personality and are constantly doing things, no matter how obnoxious and terrible they may be, to keep their viewers’ attentions. youtube is constantly changing but she’s not and as the content is getting a lot more lavish when it comes to the categories that she’s in (like makeup and storytimes), she decides to stay in the same basic setting. more respect to her for staying true to herself but it’s just not interesting anymore.

I remember being a fan of Alfie years ago when he was just starting get and before he even started dating Zoella. He was fun but after a while I moved on. Kinda disgusted about how he turned out. Seriously he seemed so nice and genuine before.
Zoella was the first person I watched on UA-cam. Lately she is very sporadic as to whether she puts up a main stream channel video each week. Sometimes, it can be weeks before a video goes up and at the end of the day, the viewers are going to lose loyalty if there aren’t videos to watch! But when I think about her content, there is nothing original about it. She doesn’t do anything that others aren’t doing and as other have said, it has never evolved over the years despite the fact that she is now in her late twenties and owns her own house and manages her own business. If you look at someone like Louise pentland, she is someone who has evolved over the years to reflect the changes in her life and does videos that suit her role as a mother etc. Also I totally agree with the advent calendar thing, is was not an apology it was patronising as if you couldn’t believe people didn’t know already what she explained but I don’t believe for one minute that she does not know the pricing of her products that is complete bullshit as far as I’m concerned. At the beginning of this year, she said that she wanted to show more of the business side regarding her products so people could understand how much work goes into the products she puts out there and how much involvement she has in them. But watching them videos, I was in disbelief at how little involvement she actually has! She has a team who think of the general concept of the range and she is there to sniff the scents and decide on colours and which lid is best for the travel mug! I mean, come on! I think showing the viewers that side of things may backfire on her.
The thing that annoys me and offends me is that when she is inactive she blames it on anxiety- I have diagnosed anxiety and I can’t just not go to work for a month, I wish I could but that’s not how to world works. She is just un relatable now and is just focused on the wrong things. It’s quiet upsetting because I love her as a person.

Her channel may not be getting the views it used to, but that's because she's not creating the content she used or as regularly - because she doesn't need to. UA-cam has served it's purpose for her. Her bank balance is far from dying, she's probably laughing at videos like these. People using her name to get them views.. sad 😂😂

I used to watch Alfie's vlogs like everyday but I got so sick of his holier than thou attitude and his nonsense clickbait. Plus every time Zoe talks about having kids with him I cringe so hard. I can't imagine that man child being a father. I feel bad for her bc she talks about being a mother with such sparkle in her eyes and he's all like "haha yeah"
