Thank you!! 😊
would buy this over a modern constellation globemaster any day
thanks for sharing OE
No doubt!
Me too, no problem
Beautiful. It is so rare to see an unpolished case and an unpolished medallion. I love the patina on the gold medallion.
Not very rare. But to see one untouched like this example is very rare.
What's a medallion in watch speak?
@@mclovin583 The gold emblem on the case back.
@@TimelessHistoryChannel Thanks.
@@mclovin583 You're welcome
What a gorgeous piece
Terribly beautiful in its unaged condition. That bevelling on the bezel, at such a shallow angle yet so sharply distinct, is the most striking feature. It flashes gorgeously in a wonderfully quiet way. Since on almost all other examples it has surely long been worn down into invisibility, very few people must know this design element ever existed. Ravishing.
Can't ask for a better description of this watch.
That’s is the most beautiful vintage Omega I’ve ever seeen 😭
Amazing watch ! Thanks for this video.
Many thanks and for the comment.
Great video to close 2020! Have a prosperous New Year!
Thanks! Same to you! Happy New Year!
simply magnificent!
Thanks-beautiful watch and encouraging video. Much appreciated. For what it's worth-years ago attended a watch association meeting-mart. I missed out on a beautiful NOS (new old stock) Lecoultre Futurematic box, papers etc by 6 or 7 steps. Important for fellow watch enthusiasts to remember- Keep looking, persevere and eventually that watch gem will appear before your eyes. Hopefully in 2021! Happy healthy New Year.
Happy 2021!!! Thank you for the comment. Sorry to hear that. But I am sure you will get another opportunity to come across a NOS piece. Wonder what it may be this time. 😉
Wow what a gem
What a wonderful watch. Thank you for sharing it with us.
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the comment and Happy 2021!
A stunning NOS piece. Not many around I suppose
Fantastic! 😮
Great video, thanks. Happy New Years.
this is sooo amazing! love your reviews and thoughts love it great work and i wish you for 2021 a good year!
Many many thanks! And happy 2021!!!
Very nice! Thank you and happy new year! 🎉
Same to you! And Happy 2021!!!
So cool! 😍
Wonderful
First off, That constellation is in beautiful condition ( you are a lucky man)... Dial is extremely clean and love the texture.
How rare is it to find a omega with the buckle still there (how much more does that add to collectibility)? The back medallion is that in 14 or 18kt.
So glad I found you 7 months ago, you have changed my watch collecting, most appreciated.
Fantastic video..... Can't wait for 2021
Thank you for the comment and support as always!!! Happy 2021!!!
It’s very difficult to come across any NOS watches in general. Because the main purpose of anyone buying a brand new watch is to wear it. So to find one that is unworn after this many decades can only mean, 1. It was given as a gift and the owner does not like wearing a watch so he stored it away. 2. Watch was stored away because store owner couldn’t sell it or store closed down. Or 3. Someone like me who owns a time machine. 😝
I look forward to creating more great videos for you guys! Cheers!
@@TimelessHistoryChannel HAHAHA, You are have to sell rides on the time machine!!!
@@TimelessHistoryChannel Or, 4., The owner treasured it so much that he was afraid to wear it lest it age at all. Perhaps it was only worn on a few special occasions, widely spaced during his life, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Finally, 5., the owner may have passed away not long after buying it or receiving it as a gift, and it was retained as a keepsake by his widow, daughter, or mother. It's a pleasant mystery for you to enjoy!
@@dixonpinfold2582 Thank you for the add on. I am really intrigue by your thought and description.

Awesome! Wish i could get one🤩
I love your videos. Such tight focus. That Constellation is a stunner. Where did you find it?
Many thanks! I got this one off a private collector from South Africa.
Now we know what has been under your Christmas tree :D Where did you find this? Great finding! Congrats!
Bought this one off a South African watch collector sometime ago.
Perfection! even more so with the beads of rice bracelet!
Deberías mostrar modelos para damas! Saluditos.
I learned from your channel here that you repeatedly mentioned that if the watch hands (minute and second) extended beyond the inner minute tracks than is very likely the hands are not original for the watch model. Is this still true or only for specific models as I noticed in your watches listed for sale do have some of them having hands extended beyond the inner minute track.
I am referring to Pie Pan dial and on constellation dial. If you check some of the other models mostly manual wind Seamaster or 36mm model, the hands are allow to surpass the minute track. Need to know the model and dial variations first to conclude if the hands are correct or not. This is something you will naturally know after looking at so many Omega watches.
@@TimelessHistoryChannel Thanks for the clarification. Another valuable point learned here😅
Anytime!
Stunning!
It really is!
Amazing watch and great video. Thanks for all the tips
I live in France and would like to know if there is any additional shipping cost if I buy a watch from your website (like border taxes for example).
Cheers,
Hugo
Thank you very much for your comment as always. Please for questions related to my site products to ask me directly on my site email.
Happy New Year
Bonjour Hugo, oui il y a juste la tva (env 20%) a ajouter mais pas de taxes douanieres a priori
Stunning, they don’t make watch like this anymore
I didn't see the Omega logo on the acrylic glass. Is it there? Is it still possible to buy signed acrylic glass from Omega?
Yes it is there. A lot of these older original crystals the logo is lightly printed on. So it can be difficult to capture on camera. You will not be able to order the exact low dome original nowadays. Since many Omega watches of that era takes the same size crystal, they have discontinued making all of their exact same size crystal and stick to just one number which can be used for all models with that crystal size. Hence, if you were to order a brand new original signed crystal for this Constellation watch it will be a regular dome crystal unlike the original which is very low.
Nice watch! I guess this is a keeper. Are you planning to sell it?
This one has been with me for sometime. It was very sad to sell a two tone version late last year already. So I’ll be keeping this one. Made a video on the two tone piece if you scroll back to my past videos.
want is a terrible thing
Same same same....
36mm women watch
Whatever makes you happy 😉
