My apologies. There is a section of the video where the music was louder than my voice when I was explaining my thoughts on whether I wanted to reuse the existing welded bung placement or if I was going to drill a new hole for the Wide band. I swear the audio was perfect before I uploaded the video.
Hi there..yes sounds cool. I had mine decated and I used the standard end can.. pops bangs sounds beasty on the over run..and ps I prefer to hear you not music.😜
Haha, thanks. Honestly I liked both the sound of the decatted with OEM as well and mine of course. Sorry about the music, I swear it was perfectly balanced before I uploaded it.
Do you know how the length of the secondaries compares to the m4 header?... Also, is the width/diameter of the primaries and secondaries larger than the stock diameters??
Good question. It depends. If this is a canyon bike for you, my suggestion would be to leave it and don’t lower it. I can ride my bike wherever, I lowered it 3 years ago and still commute with her this way with no ill effect. Although I have hit a few canyons with her like this you are definitely limited by how close to the ground it is and it can be a bit more stiff and bouncy if you hit potholes and what not. The good thing is that is reversible. So if you get tired of it you can always go back. Have a great day!
@To Mod or Not to Mod race bikes are lowered, i watch moto gp and them bike are on the floor and still have great handling, Can you tell me how far you lowered your bike?
I watch MotoGP myself and I am pretty familiar with Ride-height devices. But this is no MotoGp bike haha. I know what you mean. What I meant is on a normal commute I have hit potholes or other imperfections on the street and you can feel the lack of suspension travel. It is dropped almost 3 inches.
I am sure that will be perfect! Pictures when you are ready. Oh any drop beyond 1 7/8 if I am not mistaken the forks will hit the OEM handlebar. Mote than that and you are going to have to change to a different handlebar or change to clip ons.
🤔 I can’t remember but ai am guessing you don’t need them since the header comes with the springs and if you don’t have to reattach the slip you can reuse them.
Hey LadiezLuvme10, the website has it listed to fit 15-20 GSX-S1000. I know is still the same engine so I don’t why it would not fit but probably a great question for Lextex. I wouldn’t want you to end up with a header you can’t use and without the ability to return it.
Hello i couldnt get no 1 header pipe to fully seat into the Y pipe i think this was where you had leak? You manage to get that in flush? Thanks also which which quickshifter you using in this video looks like ur downshifting and blipping yourself?
Hey Hissan I want to say is fairly common byou should be able to get it to sit properly by playing with it. In my case mine got a bit deformed because I applied heat when I welded it but I applied a bit of pressure u ti I was able to confirm both pipes had the same shaoe and it sealed perfectly. You could always buy a joint exhaust seallike PermTex to ensure there is a tight seal. Please let mw know if that makes sense. I reolaced my Healtech with a Dynojet push/pull quickshifter. Only upshifting no autoblipping I do rev matching to do clutchless downshifts.
Hey GLZY, you will get a Check Engine light when you disconnect the servo. In order to get rid of it you will either have to buy a servo buddy or the Healtech Eliminator or flash your ECU. Did I answer your question? Please let me know and Ill be happy to reply back or you can email me.
@@ToModorNottoMod awesome thank you so much! Recently got a 2016 gsxs 1000 and couldn’t be happier with it! Your videos have helped me out a lot, thank you for the dope content!
Hi Richard thanks for reaching out and congrats on the headers. No, if you remove the bolts at the top of the radiator and the one at the bottom should be enough to move the radiator forward. Let me know if you have other questions.
Hey Hissan, it is personal preference of course. If you are going to have supporting mods to get the best out of it like filter and some sort of fueling controller i'll say go for it, to be honest I know some will disagree but that is the closest to a full system. Have a great day
Thanks for quick reply, i can see you had stock manifold with decat before too, what did you notice any difference? I will be getting a remap already have remap now. Thanks 🙏
I honestly can't tell you I felt it. Honestly, The sound is different and it's lighter so no matter what you will get some benefits. I am guessing I have better flow but I can't prove it.
I will be installing the black widow header with my existing hotbodies slip on and k&n filter. Chris Moore will be re-flashing my ECU and he said that no O2 sensor is necessary. What did you do with the exhaust butterfly valve (servo)?
I removed the servo when I replaced the catalityc with my link pipe. At the time I did not have my ECU reflashed so I needed servo eliminator from Healtech to make my ECU think the servo was still on the bike. Chris is correct, with the reflash you can eliminate the servo and will not result in CEL lights on the dashboard. You can leave the servo motor in the bike and only remove the servo cables or you can remove the servo motor completely. I have a video showing how I did it. Let me know if you have other questions.
Got my black widow headers installed yesterday, I chose to leave the stock exhaust port gaskets in I’ll have to see if they hold up. Fitting the exhaust was seamless and removed the butterfly and servo motor without removing the rear shock. Pretty easy job. Now for the ECU flash
Sometimes, depending on kill times and tune you can hear it more or less. I am currently only killing fuel but soon i will be killing fuel and spark and that could make a difference.
I did but with a little playing back and forth it went away and selead. Sealant is the way to go! Let me know if tou have questions and congrats! Hope you like it

Thank you Samuel. Right now I have a Dynojet Quick Shifter. I just moved to Dynojet from Healtech. The Healtech was awesome though. It has the ability to be used GP or standard pattern but doesn't do both at the same time. So in short is not a blipper.
Hey Erasmo I just checked and is currently on sale at $290 USD. I think I may have paid a bit less but to be quite honest I don't remember but it was less than $300. The shipping was fast. It was home in a few days.

I have the same bike which only just got and never seen another one with the white panels. Unsure why they are white not red like many others
I painted my bike multiple times. Then little by little brought it back to OEM colors.
Did u change the steering damper or somethin? The bike luks different than a Regular Naked bike
Hey Mahir the biggest change was replacing the bar for clip-on style. That is probably what you are noticing. Yes?
