    Glad I watched this and read the comments! I have a full Arrow on my gen 1 but I was thinking about a black widow for my 2020 Katana, had no idea they had bad fitment and less than stock HP, bummer, they look nice and are reasonably priced.

      I'd say this is totally different than what would happen on your Kat. But, a cat delete and slip on will make around 17 hp with a Sprint Air Filter and dyno tune....
      But we're no longer in business at 57 Motorsports.

    I do like the sound, not to loud. I like the look of the dual exhaust. I have a 2011 Hay Bus, 167hp before tune and only got 175 rear wheel horse power after tune. Im thinking hp should be around 170-175 base and it should be 180-185 after tune. It's pretty much all stock except for BMC filter, cat delete and Two Brothers Black dual exhaust. Any input would be appreciated. Just found your channel. Where are you located?

      Hey Rad Rock...
      We're located in Tuscumbia AL. We've had bikes come from Chicago, Arkansas, and many of our surrounding states...
      As far as numbers go, I've never had a 2nd gen with just a cat delete on our dyno. The few we have done have had full 4-2-1 exhaust. This is where you'll end up with more horsepower at. But 8hp gains over baseline is pretty good.
      What brand is the cat delete if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to look into it.

    Hey Chad hope you're good, wanna just ask you about my bike.
    I modded my stock hayabusa header to 4-2-1, i did a 60mm tube outlet in the end tube and 50mm in the secondary two tubes but i didn't modded the 4 primary tubes of the headers.
    for the exhaust it's an akrapovic carbone with a 55mm inlet.

      @TEAMWRIGHTEOUS  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah man.... People wonder why Brock's and a few other brands cost so much... Then you throw these things on and they show you exactly why. The stock header isn't a bad design at all.
      I think I could make this thing work if I had the capability of working with exhaust pipe to do what needs to be done.

      @@TEAMWRIGHTEOUS I agree, I'm one of those people that like the look of dual exhaust on the busa...I searched for months trying to find dyno info on these black widow/lextek exhausts, I didn't find anything, so I became the guinea pig and tried it. Looks like they copied the stock design but screwed up with the H-pipe section. The header tubes are the same O.D. as stock but use thinner wall material, so it "should" have a little more flow, but the H-pipe section necks down....if I could do pipe work, I would make an X-pipe and let it eat. HMF big bird is the only worthwhile busa dual system as far as I know (if you can find one).

    • @TEAMWRIGHTEOUS
      @TEAMWRIGHTEOUS  2 роки тому

      There wasn't really any weight reduction. We ended up leaving the stock header on the bike as it made more power. And then we built the motor and made even more power.
      Idk about fuel mileage... I know he rode it all over and never complained about it being worse. And he rode a couple of hours on a tank a few weeks ago, so I'm guessing he's getting 35-40ish maybe. Not sure when he filled up.

      This is a totally different bike and made less hp due to the design, not just because we swapped exhaust.
      I think you would gain with a good full exhaust and a power commander is a waste of money. We can dyno tune your bike for a little more money than what a power commander cost and get you way more horsepower.

    160 Hp? What!! There's something seriously wrong with this busa! Stock, the Gen-1 Hayabusa makes 172 @9500 rpms from the factory. the 1999 model makes 175 with 138nm torque, with a top speed of 192 mph.

      You're reading what the manufacturer rated hp is. And that's measured at the crank.
      A bone stock Gen 1 Hayabusa generally makes around 150-155hp at the wheel. There's driveline loss between the crank and wheel. Our dyno measures at the tire.
