- Amethyst Black has proven to be a stunner to everyone who has seen the painted car. In most light it still looks black, in super focal light it reveals it's royal purple and plum depth. Very exciting. In keeping with the last video some of this video features narration and description and some is the Artist simply working. True Performance has exceeded my expectation and can be contacted at 614 733 0708. They are BMW, Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce and Porsche certified and accredited facility.

Paint Yoga, with Bear. Such a cool experience watching this thing take shape layer after layer
Glad I found this video after watching Tavarish video on him buying the lotus esprit
I have owned Esprits for 20 years. It was my childhood passion. That different perspective and the extent to which this will be my dream Esprit make this quite a different project. I appreciate you watching. I have videos on several other Esprit as well. Check out the videos, subscribe and tell a friend. 😁🙏 cheers!!
Dayyyummm! That. Is. Epic. Can't wait for the next vid. This is way cool, my friend!
Thanks so much for taking interest. The esprit has been the automotive love of my life. Happy to share it with so many others !!
Great Paint Job👍🏻, Artisan Quality!!!!
Can't wait to see the finished product!
Very excited to bring you more . The Finish line is still far but much closer now !!
Superb paintjob!
And Tim: ain't no video too long for this sort of job.
Cheers.
Thanks so much for your thoughts. I am so happy to hear that. Much more to come.
You took it to the right place. Bear is the man.
Josh did an amazing job with the body work and Bear is my go to for any of my treasured vehicles. He is absolutely the best
What a fantastic colour, and paint finish!!!
Once wet sanded it will look like glass! Very pleased
Just found you on youtube

Subscribed and waiting
Videos are brilliant, bear’s work is superb, you can make the videos as long as you like, I’ll watch 👍🏼
Cheers! Thanks so much . More to come
Such a beautiful car
Hey Tim, you bought this from my uncle in jacksonville. I remember riding in this car when i was younger. The car at that time was in immaculate condition, not so much when you got it. Living around the river doesnt treat cars very well down here. Love the transformation this car has made. thank you
Great job!! Can,t wait for the result of this great car
Thanks so much. I think it’s going to be brilliant
A joy to watch someone taking so much pride in his work...can't wait for the next vid
Thanks so much for watching . I will have a new video out on this project soon.
This car is going to be amazing.
I’m hoping so. Thanks for watching
Even by today's standards that's a good looking car that still looks modern.
From your narration to the music to the editing, your videos have such a chill vibe. It’s a nice change from so many car channels which go for an aggressive aesthetic. Bear is an artist, it’s a pleasure watching him work. Also, that color is sick and this is going to be an incredible Esprit. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Thanks so much for your comment. I often wonder if people appreciate the effort. I do hope you jade watched one of my car reviews like the 4C or Noble , they are the kind of reviews I look for when I am considering a car. Again, thanks so much man. Cheers !
Somehow I was in a delusion I could restore one just by myself. Well, not anymore. That car is going to be incredible once it's finished.
It’s quite and undertaking. A labor of love to be certain
Loving this series of videos, looks like an amazing job they’re doing! Can’t wait to get to this stage with my S2 but I’m a loooong way off 😔 Looking forward to the next instalment!
I love the S2, I wish you luck with your build ! Thanks so much for watching
Another awesome episode. I've been looking forward to this all week. It looks beautiful. I can't wait for the next one, but it's worth it. You can't rush perfection 😁
There will be another one with the engine very soon. Probably 2 weeks. The one you really want to look forward to is the interior . OMG
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage It's a bit like reading a good book, you're desperate to know how it works out, but you don't want it to finish. I'm sure you don't feel quite the same, and just want to drive it, but I'm loving this. Great Job Man 😁👍
Sent by sxm yacht shop. Nice page
Cheers and thanks so much for stopping by!!
I'd love to get my hands on a car this far apart to do a serious audio system in it. Tim, this thing is gorgeous! Congratulations!
You would think, being a musician, that would be a top priority but most of the time in the esprit I find myself Windows down and revving the nuts off it 🤣 cheers and thanks so much for watching !! That being said , I want to put some serious sound in my 300CE 24V
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage I've never been the "I don't need a stereo, I have a V8" kinda guy...I spend a lot of time in my car (2+ hrs a day) and it's the only time I can really enjoy music uninterrupted. Music and cars just go together.
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage Just looking at the interior of the 300CE I see a lot of potential. It's been a minute since I did anything fun in an old Benz. When I started installing car audio back in the early-mid 90's, they were a lot more common than they are now.
@@jayinmi3706 I kind of want to do a mid 90s late 90s thing with Precision Power Art series amps , JL Audio subs. It already has a Bluetooth kenwood with MB quart separates up front and some modern Alpines in the rear deck
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage Do you already have the Art Series amps? Those are getting harder and harder to come by for a reasonable price in nice shape. If you need replacement parts for the MB Quarts, check out German Maestro. As I understand it, the engineers from MB quart started their own company around the time MB quart got bought out by people who just wanted the name.
Thank you 🙏 in what city you’re located? Thank you 🤝
Columbus Ohio
I am truly interested in the build but 20mins of paint gun shots seems a little over the top. Hopefully more details of actual build are right around the corner.
Right around the corner
