People, take advice from doctors and dietician on this matter … Protein amount does not change between raw and cooked. It would have denatured though, and made more digestible by the human gut. But cooking either only concentrates or dilutes the protein content dependent on the cooking style
Overcooking is bad which most do these days, slightly cook it so that it's easier to digest, that will be best. Not everything can be eaten raw by everyone, Yogis can digest raw veggies but for common people slightly cooked will be best. Also of course, not every vegetable can be eaten raw, there is distinction in ayurveda which can be eaten raw and which not.
Note he said "protein requirement will be well taken care of". Perhaps by eating more raw food, your total requirement of protein will go down by the way your system starts functioning. But as always, your own body is your best guide.

If We shifted to eating only raw and are experiecing extreme dips in mood and the ability of naturally feeling well, what could be the cause of this and how do We bring balance?
I don't have a spiritual answer, I'm not that advanced, but from my expirience with similar problem, I would guess you have problems with insulin and blood sugar (probably not enough), when I tried a similar diet my body couldn't properly digest all the raw vegetables which resulted in malnutrition. Maybe you'll benefit from eating more cooked rice and potato or wholegrain as it has more complex carbohydrates thus not only gets released slower (that should help with the mood swings) but also sustains you for longer, also maybe don't eat too much fruit, and if you don't want to eat meat soya is good plant based protein (contains good ratio of all essential amino acids).

Absolutely. Even if protenes are lost due to cokking veggies, if you take enough lentils, that should take care of protene requirement. Now a days in US they calleing meat as Protine, indicating only meat has protine. Big a lie , but a clever suggestive ploy to push meat consumption.
A non bodybuilder(someone who is not going for hypertrophy )doesn't need that much protein a day. 0.8 gms per kg is what the general population needs and that can be easily achieved with the right veg diet.

A person's actual protein requirement is much lower than dietary guidelines indicate. After all, the meat industry lobbied to ensure that the official protein guidelines were excessively high, in order to increase profits.
You're absolutely right master Sadhguru yogi, we cleaned it and mix the veggies in myonnaise, cheese and etc to serve. The raw veggies protein gave the height that some people could just dream of, my family members are all above 6f especially the men and the girls are 5'10, medical student Malaysia God bless. 👍🙏
This is not true. Proteins are denatured during cooking and become more digestible as a result, not less. In general, cooking increases the usable content of food. For example you can't even eat raw beans or raw grains, which are some of the most protein rich foods for vegans. They have to be cooked in order to become digestible.
Actually there was a study that proves something like this. Soluble fiber in vegs increases with cooking, insoluble fiber will be fermented into millions of super tiny amino acids in the colon, and apparently, actually absorbed. Insoluble fiber is more present in the raw foods, i actuañly think this checks out well. Also, specifically cellulose, an insoluble fiber, is the one tested to improve protein syntehsis through a recycling of nittrogen. Nitrogen is more abundant in plants vs meats, significantly so. And it is a cruccial thing for gaining muscle. No cap, i see that a ytber bryam turner is significantly bigger tham all those other natural omnivlres. And seeing how long hes been doing body building, and his story, i actually do believe je is a natural body builder. It makes sense, vegetarian animals can seem go bd bigger if given the chance to eat freely...
You mean the science that said salt and eggs were bad for us? and that we needed fluoride in our water supply? The same science that performed lobotomies on vulnerable minorities? and implemented a eugenics program similar to Nazi Germany's, in the 1930s? The same science that gave the OK for opiates and hooked an entire generation?
I do believe it matters, it does move the world undeniably, so much so that even the dumb can not argue and the wise could over look Most doesn’t even believe they could use their muscles. Yet even to the end of muscle it will be reduced to it…
When heated, proteins in plant and animal-based foods break apart and lose moisture, causing them to shrink by about 25%. For example, a 4 oz raw serving of food might cook down to 3 oz.
Denaturation does not make the protein any less nutritious; it's just a change in structure. The overall nutritional value of the protein remains intact, and the body can still digest and use the amino acids effectively. So I am not buying this at all. 😂
Our study shows that all cooking methods caused great losses of total soluble proteins and soluble sugars, particularly the boiling and stir-frying /boiling that use a great amount of water. It is possible that soluble proteins and soluble sugars in broccoli were lost by leaching to surrounding water, 1. 1 ncbi, nih
