A lot of people will be commenting anti things about what he's saying & they are proprably right to do - to a certain extent.
But think about it, there's a proper science & sofisticatión of life behind what he's saying.
It will take a real gentless & sensitivity towards life to get the answer of - why this why that

Fermented animal flesh and cheese cause heaviness and dull perception. They were originally eaten by people who had little to eat in harsh winter.
Curd/cultured yogurt is optimal with °slightly° fermented taste.
The gut biome is a culture, so it's best to fuel it, but avoid replacing it.
If there's a large container of curd, remember that it's alive. Avoid plunging the spoon in the middle and scooping out else it'll disturb the life. Instead, gently dip the spoon on the edge of the culture, and preferably from the same spot each time.
Remember that food & drink will become part of you. Avoid eating fast "like a pig", hacking at food with violet bites.
Eat with grace & reverence, because °how° you eat is as important as what you eat.
      Shiva 🙏🏼

    • @prithwirajjadhav2990
      @prithwirajjadhav2990 4 місяці тому +6

You make a good point, since south Asians aren't considered so 'healthy'.
But Sadhguru isn't referring to muscle power and physical strength. He generally speaks about diet that keeps the body supportive of spiritual practices and the mind calm, quiet, focused, without anxiety etc.
So a healthy body here would refer to something light, that you are not mindful of, which you carry with ease, which doesn't give you pain and bother you, which makes you sleep less etc.

That was a generic comment by sadhguru. It’s a truth too except for few acceptional cases..
I being South Indian, face the same in western and northern India. Just don’t feel like to eat idli which is like soap and sambar which is made sweet .. don’t know from where they have learnt to add sweet!! And the best idlis u get in south alone and as it’s staple food so the better it is.
Just like how u get the best paranthas , namak wale paranthas n sarso da saag to name a few in north which I love a lot n don’t mind eating everyday 😀

I don’t understand technically how we can make the curd and eat it the same day , since curd takes hours to make .
Sadhguru is not giving any details about any of the food he mentioned . Is this because in India everyone makes their own yogurt every day ? I seriously doubt this .

      @@inalazarov3454 I understand your questions.
Fresh curd - when you mix probiotic live culture in warm milk and let it set overnight in warm temperature, and then keep in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours, the curd is ready to be eaten. This is fresh curd, just set. Its not too sour, has just a hint of tanginess. You can store this in the fridge for a few days, like 2 to 3 days. Beyond that, the tanginess increases, which makes it difficult for the stomach to process.
If you set curd in small batches every 2 to 3 days, you can consume fresh curd everyday.
Keep the bowl in the fridge, with a lid on. When you want to use only a part of the curd set in a bowl, cut with a spoon gently from the side, and continue to cut along the same area as you scoop out for every serving.

He is talking about the perception of reality, not just the Intellectual process.
Modern South Korean society might be one of the most superficial societies I have seen.
They might be intelligent, but are up there when it comes to suicides. Japan is not very far behind.

    What I understand-
    Fermented meat ,
Cheese and over fermented food is not good..
    Freshly fermented curd
Just rightly fermented veg food like idli and dosa are good

If it’s fermented for longer than a day, it may be good for your gut health, but it’s not good for your perception. Anything fermented over a 24 hours, isn’t good for perception.

Knowing what is good or bad for this body isn't being a doctor. It's the sense that comes from knowing your own self, by experimentation. We're human beings, with vast intelligence- I hope.
You think you need a doctor to know what to eat/ and what not to eat?
