      We have a roughly idea whether we should take the ipad of 9th Gen or not.
      But I have a question that can we do professional logo designing in 9th gen ipad Or should we buy 10th gen ipad?
      If you have any other ipad for logo designing(Graphic Designing) in your mind in the budget of 450$ then please suggest us.🙏🙏🙏💯💯

    Now it all makes sense. Why? Well, I'm a beginner in digital art. Days ago I bought an iPad Air 5 M1. After some days, I felt uncomfortable having it. I questioned myself: Should I have such a high end device if I'm just a rookie? Am I not skipping some important learning curve by having such a powerful device? I felt like I was taking a shortcut instead of going the long mile.. Yesterday I listed it for sale. Someone is now offering me an iPad 9 with case and a brand new Apple Pencil as part of the payment. After watching your video, it all makes sense! I get more than half of my initial investment back and obtain a decent iPad experience to begin my digital art journey. think I can thrive well on an iPad 9 as a beginner. I also mostly draw monochromatic and manga, I have no experience in color mixing or painting, so being humble and starting low key is the right way. I also wonder, how many awesome professional artworks have been done on iPad 9? Probably lots! In short, it is wise to begin my journey with a humble iPad that can last a long time. I'll surely be able to go bigger and upgrade later on when I become proficient.
    I also remember how I was able to push the limits by producing amazing music on a very old mini laptop with less than 1gb ram and a Celeron processor years ago. I like the feeling of achieving awesome stuff despite all limitations, and I want to do the same with digital art. Instead of using high end tech and making everything easy, using low end teaches me how to maximise every tool and bit of hardware at my reach to get the best results. This is indeed the core philosophy of Haruchemy (Haru + Alchemy), metaphorically turning coal into gold, basically making the most out of what is available. So to honour my own personal brand and personal philosophy, I'll get that iPad 9 and draw like there is no tomorrow!
    Who knows, maybe this experience I'm sharing here is a good way to also start my UA-cam channel, after all.
    By the way your content is amazing and super educational. Keep it up! You're a wise UA-camr and Artist.

      Thank you for sharing your experience! But yeah, the 9th gen ipad is already solid. I don’t think I mentioned it in the video but I know Procreate already commissioned Loish to do her artwork as one of those default procreate artworks which I’ve noticed since the 2017 iPad Pro. The 2017 iPad Pro is weaker than the current 9th gen ipad. So there really isn’t anything stopping you from creating great art on it with pretty much any ipad. Just get familiar with your tools and you can really do anything.

      I mean,think about laminated display, Do i need it as rookie? Or high end chip,is it necessary ?

      @@JimmyLamStudio Absolutely! Unfortunately, because I'm homeless at the moment, I had to exchange the iPad 9 for temporary accomodation during the rough storms of the last weeks. I lost the iPad, unfortunately. But I still have my Galaxy Tab S7, so I just need to buy an S Pen and start making art. Yup, I need to get a job soon. I tried the iPad 9 with Procreate, Adobe Fresco and lots of apps, and I can say, IT IS AMAZING, and it works awesome. An iPad 9 is a very powerful tool for artists. Cheap, on a budget, it works! Go for it! Sucks being poor, though. I'll solve that smoehow.

    Nice review. I bought one of these with a Pencil a couple of weeks ago, the iPad was 250 and the Pencil was 80 or so. Very reasonable price overall. I put the latest OS on it and it works very well, the non laminated screen is no problem, nor is the speed or Ram for what I do with it. Drawing, surfing reading, videos etc, all work well, the size is small as you'd expect but it's cheap and does what it should without issue.
    Overall it is good value. I also bought Easy canvas to use it with my old Windows desktop as a drawing tablet when I need tons of Ram, speed and storage for more heavyweight programs. I have BT mice and keyboards that work with it too. The only real thing I dislike about it are the speakers, frankly they suck, even the Amazon fire tablets sound better. Other than that it's all good.

    • @GazzaBoo
      @GazzaBoo 9 місяців тому

      @@çizerÇizer There will always be some lag despite what these companies would have you believe, but it’s very workable. It isn’t as responsive as my Huion Kamvas tablet screen, but then the Kamvas costs more than the Ipad and it’s an actual monitor rather than a computer, so it doesn’t have to go through the ipad OS first. The Kamvas Pen is also much nicer to use and has far better feel to it.
      Having said that, the Ipad does a good job and the lag is small. I use Easy canvas because it was a purchase, not a subscription. The other programs like Astropad may well be even faster, but I’m not paying subscriptions for them.

    HEY! I have a question I want to start with digital art but I don't know what device to choose, iPad 9th gen or S9Fe, I know that iPad has Procreate but I'm afraid whether 3GB of RAM will be enough and not full laminated screen will be worse than S9 fe does the not laminated screen much worse than laminated ?

    • @templarsjustice4956
      @templarsjustice4956 Рік тому

      I would say that Procreate is a very useful tool, definitely a big selling point. The RAM likely won't be a huge problem, but I don't know what you plan to do with drawing. It's a decent amount of RAM, don't worry - still very usable. The screen may or may not be a problem, but you're probably not going to be pressing on it hard enough for it to be an issue.

    Hello! I would love to know your views on screen protectors with texture feels that imitate paper, vs the glass ones, vs the thin film ones. Both in terms if the health of ipad and apple pencil. Especially considering drawing on it. Thankyou, this video is extreamly helpful!🤭

    • @all4cyrus
      @all4cyrus Рік тому +2

      The thin film ones will wear out eventually if you draw often so you get less protection for your iPad screen and a gradual deteriorating drawing experience.
      The paper feel screen protectors give you the best texture feedback and feel of paper and is the most satisfying to draw on. However you loose a bit of color accuracy, and it eats away at your pencil nib.
      Glass screen protectors offer the most protection but the tradeoff is the clacky sound (you get to ignore it over time though).
      I use the glass screen protector

    As you said, I’m a beginner and I would like to try digital art for the first time. I wanted to buy a super modern IPad but you changed my mind lol.
    I have one question though. Drawing requires me to buy the 256GB version? Or 64GB will be good? I just have that doubt since I have never drawn digitally. I don’t want to download games or other things. Just the necessary apps for drawing, and UA-cam/Netflix. I have the money, however, but I would like to know if the extra 230 dollars worth or I could just upload my drawings to ICloud or something like. What would you recommend?
