      Thank you so much Robin for your lovely comment. As you mentioned, the process is fairly fast and easy for the results one gets. This being my very first how-to video, I have learned the video-making process is a whole lot tougher. But with comments like yours, the love and support I have already received in this channel. It is totally worth it. I look forward to making more videos, building a tight-knit community, and interacting with everyone. Thanks again for your kind words. - Nancy

    I'm so glad I found your videos. I have 4 hutches and love to change out the decor with each season but every set of seasonal dinnerware I found was well over $200. I just finished my first dinner plate with a fall themed fabric. I'm thrilled with the way it turned out! I'll soon have a set of dishes for every holiday or season.

    These plates are fantastic! Great video, showing how, Nancy. They can be used as decor, chargers, or "You're Special" plates for birthdays & other celebrations. I like to spray the back with silver or gold paint to 'up' the festive aspect. 💙💙💙

    • @GiftsHQ

      You can make a complete set to use for a dinner party or have them as everyday platea. They are safe to use with food since the fabric is on the bottom side.-Nancy ❤️

    I used to do plates but never with fabric. My project looked beautiful until I sealed the back of it. The modge podge bled thru so now there is white showing on top of the fabric. Did I use too much?

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  4 місяці тому

      Correct, you don't need to add a lot. No worries, It will be clear when it dries. Have fun!

    I made one but when the modpage dried there were streaks. Would you know how to prevent the streaks?

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  Рік тому

      Try to apply thin layers of mod podge and allow it to completely dry in between layers. -Nancy ❤

    Do you have to use fabric mod podge when applying fabric to the plate and do you use matte or gloss?

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  Рік тому

      I use gloss if i want that shinny look other wise I use matte. Either way I look how they turn out! Post a picture once your are done. I would love to see it! -Nancy ❤

    Used napkin and the back is wrinkle what do i do

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  4 місяці тому +1

      There are several methods to smooth out wrinkles. Some just use their fingers to smooth it out. Others will spray water. It makes the napkin very delicate, so you must be super careful. Have fun!

    Can you do them in reverse? And if so could you eat off the plate after 28 days once they are set and washed, pleased

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  2 роки тому

      I would not recommend it since I would not consider it to be food safe. Also if it is reversed it as indicated you will lose the shine to the finished product and you will be left with a mat finish instead. Hope this helps! -Nancy ❤

    Not mojjjj podge

      @GiftsHQ  Рік тому +1

      There are so many ways to do this. Traditionally varnish is used but in my project I was able to use dishwasher safe mod podge and have had plates for years. I run them through the dish washer with no issues. It's a lot of fun! -Nancy ❤

    • @GiftsHQ
      @GiftsHQ  Рік тому

      Try not to go too heavy on the mod podge and make sure it dries completely before doing a second coat. You can do this! -Nancy ❤
