That's why Amber didn't want to cross examine. There's nothing more to say. Case closed. Kate is loved and respected by everyone and she only has good things to say about Johnny so that's why Amber's team wanted to shut it down quick.

Yes! Fighting to keep Dr Speigel from Assessing Depp like this was the 2nd best win before trial for Depp's team. Ofcourse moving the trial to Va was the first big win. Can you imagine what Elaine would have had Speigel say about Depp? look at what he said without examining him! I feel bad for anyone Speigel examined for Elaine in prior litigation, I bet they had to settle after her experts claimed all the crap they did in this trial. Thank God Johnny had the money to hire great Attorneys to Expose The Things They Were Claiming to be such truths in their reports.

What hurts is knowing that even after Amber got done beating Johnny… gaslighting him….. mocking him.. screaming at him…
He went downstairs, and people who loved him for his work wanted a picture…
    And through all his torment.
    With a swollen puffy face.
    He still smiled.
    Genuinely. He smiled for them.
And let them have their moment while he quietly suffered.

Depp saying that "no one is perfect, certainly not,'" you can instantly see the guilt and almost embarrassed look in his eyes. I believe when someone goes through a toxic relationship like that, it takes a lot of of you. Especially your confidence and you tend to find ways to still blame yourself for getting abused. It's all the gaslighting from the abuser and manipulator. Coming from someone who has personally gone through an abusive relationship. I feel for him. It's in his eyes. The truth.

She must have learned to lie at a young age, she's very good at thinking everyone believes her. I think it proves she has gotten away with lying throughout her life...Pretending to be a victim is a normal constant. To sit & act like her lies are facts is unbelievable. Who could do that? Who could sit as if her lies are being believed this long and continue to do it after so many people say no that's not true! Even a kid would finally admit.

Dr Curry is the definition of a boss, she's eloquent, warm and likeable, and she presents information and uses science in an unbiased way, unlike Hughes etc. She had no idea how much she'd been paid by JD so far, because she's not in it for the money only the truth of the matter, unlike all of AH's experts who knew exactly how much they'd been paid (I truly hope it was paid and not pledged or they may never see it 😉 lol).
When they have to repeatedly resort to "but you went to dinner at his house" as their only response (something she never denied, only clarified), it shows how weak their response is. Is Elaine jealous, does she wish she'd been invited? Lol. They would honestly have been better off just not cross examining her and it would have done less damage. The jury have to be thinking the same as us, like "Jesus, they're clutching at straws". Also, picking at something like that, attempting to show her as unethical, considering the massively unprofessional witnesses they had in just Hughes and Spiegel (who's aggression and blustering is still pretty fresh in their mind)...that's an own goal to me, and it just reminds the jurors of their own witnesses failings.

Your (or maybe chats) commentary on how calm the court room is after the hectic morning matches my own observation. Listening to Depp is to take a breath, almost meditate. Listening to Heard is to rush after your boss as they prattle on about scheduling and throwing documents at you. I'm sure if I can feel this thorugh the monitor, the jury felt this tenfold and it must've played some part in their deliberation, if subconcious.

Once or twice during my admissions, JD would visit in full Jack Sparrow costume and makeup to visit a few of the different wards. While his own daughter was receiving treatment there too. GOSH is really close to his heart so the fact he gave the benefit money to them makes a lot of sense. I also knew this going into the trial, so I may have been biased. But my standpoint has always been "He may have been a bad husband, or just overall a little toxic. But never to the extent she is claiming. Ashamed to admit I was physically and verbally abused by my dad. He inflicted hell on myself my brother's and my mum. As an adult I then became a semi abuser by being verbal and destructive the only behaviour I knew and fearing abandonment so would jeopodise my relationships.
So I am cringing inside at what has been revealed about Amber's behaviour it's like deja vu and reliving my earlier life.

Update: its inescapable that TMZ got the copyright directly from the source. And the source is [insert] 😑. One wonders whether AH's attorneys knew this ?? • @hawkeyescoffee6399
      @hawkeyescoffee6399 2 роки тому

On the one hand I can see their point in so much they have to be seen to attempt to block their sources being revealed because otherwise they risk sources not coming to them in he future. And also to protect themselves against the actualsource as they may have had an NDA with them and are worried about being sued. So part of it is for show, in that sense of getting their objections on record. Of course they really don't want someone spilling their secrets either. The other side of it is that they claimed the guy had no direct knowledge personally because he'd already left, so he shouldn't be allowed to give testimony on a subject he doesn't know...which is none of TMZ's concern really, if he chooses to take the stand and speculate that is up to AH's side to shut down.
As you point out though, and was highlighted when Emily looked at the emergency motion on Tuesday, the wording of it almost makes it sound like they're objecting because it'll reveal that AH is the source. And honestly, AH's side have to think we & the jury are stupid because if she recorded it on her ipad and the ipad remained in her position, and the only one who can sign over copyright is the owner of the footage...it has to have come from her. Now whether there was a step in between is possible. But then her own team should have had her state "I sent it to a few people, idk what happened to it after that" and the fact they didn't do that is telling thatshe didn't do that. So yeah, the only conclusion could really be that AH was responsible for selling it to them (whether through her publicist or friend remains pretty irrelevant I think).
Of course, it's really background noise I think. Yes, it's important in one sense that it establishes her campaign against him and painting this false narrative about him, but when it comes down to it, it doesn't have baring on the defamation...though that along with the claim she didn't alert the press about the tro... I guess it helps show a pattern of her lying about things under oath.
She clearly likes to word play semantics though, as we saw through the pledge vs donate thing. Remember in the deposition she said about " TMZ were alerted" and then realised what she'd said and brought her hands up to her face. So she plays a game of attempted plausible deniability and says "I didn't tell TMZ" and "I didn't give it to them" but she likely is well aware that she did give it to someone to give to them (or maybe did it in a way so it was indirect some how, eg using a digital drop box or something), she can still claim she's not lying because she didn't personally hand it to them. That seems to me what she was doing 🤷.
Of course, I'm writing this after the testimony has likely occurred already but I've not yet watched it.

I never knew what criteria my therapist used to diagnose PTSD, I never would have thought it of myself. I work in the medical field, but not in the area of mental health. Thank you to Dr. Curry for the explanation, I am in a better place and I can now understand and appreciate the expertise involved in diagnosing and treating PTSD. I am so glad Dr. Curry works with our armed forces because they need her expertise, as do their families.

Dr Hughes should, at the very least, be sanctioned for her behavior in this trial. Why anyone would ever use her as expert witness after her actions in this case is beyond me.

Oh her cases for trials should be revisited for sure. Imagine representing someone where Hughes' report was used against you! Elaine uses these "Experts" and their reports to get opposing counsel to fold & settle. It's very revealing and I hope the Travelers v Marine Trial Exposes what Elaine & these Experts have done. Their pattern of manipulation should be shown to the world.

It was very telling to me that AH team used experts that they had used more than once in the past. It came off to me that Elaine and her practice have a go to list of experts and that didn't work out well for them. I can't believe seeing how the so called experts behaved and testified in this trial that they are good experts to have testify at all. I just can't make myself believe that Hughes, Spiegel, the hashtag guy just to name a few were great trial experts seeing how big of a grumpy they left in the bed during this trial.

Of you sort the comments under this video by newest, someone else commented about how she represented a woman on dateline years ago who drove her male partner to .... Well. Not exist. And defended that.
She's some insane level of weird over the top feminism - the kind that isn't about equality at all.

@Lindon Martingale it's honestly horrifying, as if any man tried to be s men's rights activist in roles like hers, they'd be labelled all kinds of horrid things. She's a danger to men and women, the way she not only thinks but influences legal proceedings.

Mainer that has homeschooled my kiddo from 5th-8th grade. Yesterday I had gone to the high school to pick up a registration packet as he wishes to return to public school. I heard the news when I got back home and my heart sank into my stomach. My kiddo has been so excited to return to public school and I (like most parents these days) have immense anxiety about public schools.
My heart goes out to all parents, it’s horrifying that this is reality.

Regardless of the outcome of this trial the world now has both sides of the story and let’s be honest this may really be the tru motive here “if your gonna slander my name than so be it, regardless of the humiliation of reliving these situations, you are also going to be seen in your true light” win win for JD. Now the world can form their own informed opinion. I think we all see the reality layers and layers of reality.

Dr Curry triggered me and almost made me cry about PTSD and how people with it are less ambitious or motivated. I have been fighting ptsd and want to be normal. She pulled my card and I wasn’t ready. 🥺 my assignments for therapy are to ask for help or go somewhere with a friend. I hate these assignments because I’m always afraid people will see what’s wrong with me. Meanwhile Ambers just partying at Coachella 😒I told my pastors wife I feel cursed. I don’t wish depression or ptsd or any of my experience on anyone.
