The reason Amber does well on cross examination is bc she LOVES TO FIGHT. The reason Johnny does not fare well on cross is because he HATES CONFLICT.

Yes indeed. But also i think there is another layer. I dont think JD likes shouting ,screaming, aggressively violent typen of conflict but i think he is a debater, a verbose speaker and an intellectual who probably does not mind having a linear intelligent discussion and accepting and listening to someones reasonable and rational side of things and wants to be able to say his peace which he was unable to do with someone like Amber. And in a way in cross you have to do yes or no answers...you cant elucidate.. or defend yourself in any way...expound on your answer and it triggers the ptsd of never being able to defend yourself in your past conflict situations which im sure he has from way back in childhood and of course with Amber. So i think he feels backed into a corner and almost tricked on the stand. I am similar and its also from being around overbearing people in childhood where i couldnt debate my case so to speak and also in my dv situation. So i totally relate to that and also as someone with ADHD as we often as neurodivergents have a harder time being succinct (as my comment probably shows lol 😎😏).
Whereas Amber seems to enjoy the challenge andis happy to just go around in circles. But I think thats why rather than frustrated during cross ex she just clearly gets angry.

Camille STUDIED this woman. For YEARS. She asked Johnny for everything and anything that could or would bug her. She read through all of these notes from medical professionals and took anything that could affect her. THATS why she could respond to her on the fly. THATS why we saw Amber unravel on the stand. We saw Amber demonstrate ALL the behaviours that were described by the incredible team of experts that were hired by JD. An absolute masterclass.

Even when writing paper notes we are supposed to rule across to the end of the page if you finish your notes halfway along a line so that no one can add something in and imply you wrote it. Blank sections on assessments isn't a good look, whether you are planning to fill them in later or not.

My take. They put Johnny on the stand yesterday as a ploy. They knew, by doing so, that Amber would demand to get the last word and have her ‘moment’ like Johnny did. Camille is brilliant. She practically demonstrated in real time, Amber's inability to just let it go, and know when you have lost this argument. Because I could feel, and I think that the jury could too, that were it not for the fact that it's a courtroom, Amber would have been following Camille from room to room shouting, banging on the bathroom door. And it even felt like, if the jury was close enough, she might have reached out and struck someone. you felt it, you felt her rage, and saw the surface of a mirror of how a depp/heard argument progressed.

I noticed this mostly yesterday. They knew if she ever turned loose the jury would see her in action and know without a doubt that she was the abuser in this relationship and set out to destroy him. @@chiquitafeldberg8512 thank you! Sometimes I feel like I’m the crazy one or I’m lying or faking how bad I can get. I and many people in my family have PTSD (some fleeing from war, having seen and experiences horrific things that I can’t even say here) and we just kinda get on with it. Not saying there aren’t days were I simply can’t cope (recently has been very hard for me). Some comments that I’ve been seeing recently has me really questioning my various diagnosis. I’m not housebound or in a constant state of breakdown, I can actually talk about many of the things I’ve been though in great detail without crying etc (and so can many in my family). And I’ve never had any therapy aside from what was needed to get diagnosis. But I manage.

It's absolutely not ok that people are sending her death threats or wishing harm on her kid, or even on her. 100% stand behind that. *HOWEVER* she cannot blame JD for *causing* that social media backlash. She is getting a taste of her own terrible medicine, because JD went through similar hits after AH took out the restraining order (and made sure to be photographed) and then made her "story" public all in order to jump on the MeToo train and get herself some sympathy points and more exposure.
As someone who grew up in an environment of domestic abuse and as someone who suffered violence at the hands of bigger, stronger men (one of him tried to choke me right in front of one of my family members _who did nothing to stop it_ or to rescue me), I absolutely KNOW that yes, SOME men in positions of of better strength--whether that strength is manifested in a physical way, or in having power of others--SOME men do take advantage of that. And yes, some people--not just men--who abuse alcohol and/or drugs can turn into fucking monsters. Yes, yes, yes.
But that this man who has SO MANY former partners or current friends or former colleagues who all say he is not a man who ever raised a hand to them says something. And I know that is not the be all end all of proof because, yeah, wealthy and famous people have a certain degree of power and so they will always have somebody standing up for them.
But look, when my mom was going through it, she could not hide all the bruises, she could not hide the fact that friends and neighbors heard what was happening, and she had plenty of clear evidence of what was going on. It started on the honeymoon for her, too...she was hit in the face. When she was six months pregnant with me, she was punched in the belly and then pushed to the floor, at which point she walked out ("friends" advised her to go back, because it was the 70s and single girl of 19 expecting a baby was never going to be able to get a good-paying job she could work full time. Sadly, she put up with it for 7 more years).
As someone who lived through _actual_ DV in the home, I'm fucking PISSED that AH has decided to play the role of victim and "survivor" and that she did it so publicly, expecting that she could destroy JD's career and advance her own. The problem with PRETENDING to be a survivor of DV is that the lie NEVER. HOLDS. WATER. And every single time someone comes forward with a story of DV that turns out to be a false claim, they make it 300 times harder for the REAL survivors to be believed and to get justice. I pissed that she has set us back with this BS. I'm pissed that she decided to destroy someone else's life just for the sake of a few more clicks and more followers and watchers. And I'm PISSED that her kid is going to have to grow up with this shadow forever hanging over her of "That's Amber Heard's kid...the woman who claimed Johnny Depp abused her."
She should have taken her $7 MILLION dollars and let all the toxicity of this marriage go. And it WAS toxic, no doubt. And omg I hope like hell that Johnny gets his ass into rehab ASAP and gets COMPLETELY off the booze and the drugs then gets some therapy (and maybe some anger management) and then HE lets the toxicity go. PURGE, you guys, and forget you ever knew each other.
I said from the beginning when she first got with him that he was going through a mid-life crisis and AH was clearly trading up from her well-known photographer girlfriend to an A-list celeb who was, let's face it, easy pickings due to the mid-life crisis. Everything she does now is to get attention.
She needs help/therapy. They BOTH do. I just hope they both manage to pick up the wreckage of their lives after all this and move on.

    Key facts in this case-
1- JD is right handed therefore ALL bruises would be on AHs LEFT side unless he only hit her from behind. In all her accounts he struck her facing her. Most bruises she claimed she got were on the right of her face.
2- JD wears rings, big chunky ones which had he hit her, would have gouged out tissue, left imprints, deep focused bruising and a hell of a lot of swelling. Bruises displayed by AH were superficial with NO tissue damage. Not even a slight break of the skin.
3- No amount of make up could cover the damage done by the extensive beatings she claims to have endured. When the eye socket is struck with force blood vessels in the eyes are ruptured. AHs eyes have always been clear.
4- Ice cannot totally eliminate swelling in a matter of hours. All photos of bruising show no swelling around the alleged strike area
5- DV victims NEVER get free access to private medical and therapy personnel. The abuser keeps them from any help that could remove their victim or alert with evidence the police.
6- A DV victim would NEVER taunt, start fights with, argue with or otherwise provoke their abuser. They will try to be invisible, not enrage or risk any type of altercation with their abuser.
AH has lied. These 6 points are the only ones needed to completely debunk her claims. The lawyer’s for JD should have used these at the end of their cross with AH.

But not Depp. She doesn’t even go into the specifics of the relationship.

Amber is simply playing out her narcissistic borderline personality. She is jealous of Depp's good standing with his employees and colleagues. She can't stand him being liked by the public, having a successful career, having 15 houses and 2 islands and millions and millions of dollars. She cannot live with anyone's kindness and good nature. She perceives everything as snub, a form of abandonment or an escape to her control. She is naturally self centered, her vision of reality is the only one possible and she is always right and justified, regardless of the hard facts. She also projects her wrong doings onto others, exposing herself (confessing, really) in the process. It's textbook stuff. On the other hand, Johnny Depp put up with all of this because AH reminded him of his mother and he thought he could bring her around, make her love him, he fought to feel seen and recognized by her, something he did not accomplish with his mother. This is a very clear representation of a mental health picture that is much more common than most would believe.
Amber Heard was played like a fiddle on this trial by JD's team of professionals (lawyers, doctors, technicians, security personnel). They knew what sort of person they were up against. They knew how she would behave and what would trigger her. Even the fact of getting the trial televised served a double purpose: enhance AH's vanity and thirst for public recognition while allowing the facts to be streamed live to the public, free of mainstream media interference, hence naturally clearing Depp's name and honor. The cherry on top was JD refusing to look at AH. That just digs at her like crazy. Feeling ignored is the worst for narcissistic borderlines - it starves them of fuel. Johnny Deep's team's execution was flawless!
AH even chose a team of very weak lawyers because she needs to be in control and would not concede to anyone telling her what to do. She dug her own grave, as she would. This is a clean cut case and one for the books of Forensic Psychology. And an example that the TRUTH will always come out and shine through, no matter how long it may take.

I went into the appointment with him and the psychiatrist knew what she was talking about and was very smart but she would get defensive and argue anytime he had a question to the point where he felt like he wasn't being heard and was confused and he ended up in tears. This is why AH offended all those who have experienced abuse.....
    WARNING***TRIGGERS***WARNING
I am a retired psychologist who prepared evaluations for court and insurance companies. My comments contain descriptions of cases I worked on personally.
AH needed to be 'heard' and have a voice to be understood by the world. So did my patients/clients. My 19 year old client who was seeking custody of her two toddlers to protect them and her from their father who removed them from her after he had kicked her in the abdomen (while 6 months pregnant with their third child) until she spontaneously aborted her baby. The baby had a crushed scull. This dear woman could not afford a multi million dollar law suit.
A dear gentleman who was repeatedly beaten with a baseball bat who lost his job because he had two broken arms needed a voice. In court he was asked why he didn't defend himself and just hit back, his tearful answer was, "you're not supposed to hit women ~ and besides, if I hit her I would go to jail."
AH could have given abuse victims a voice by supporting a group who works with victims and use her high profile to bring this to public attention.
It is disingenuous for a woman who could walk away from her abuser at any time to behave as she behaved in the aftermath of this unfortunate, dysfunctional relationship.
    Apologies for this long comment.
