Oh Gronk, you glorious man-child.
He is 5 years old
Hahaha He is the Greatest Jock in NFL history
I went to high school with Gronk. He was a year ahead of me but we were in the same English class. All I remember of him was him being confused by a toaster oven.
@@ryanhall7607 I doubt he was confused.. maybe spiked but never confused
Rockems, the class was first period, at 8:30. If he was already drunk, fair play to him I suppose.
Fred Astaire... The man moved like an angel lol
It’s true though=)
This was beautiful.
The Daily Show is still good... but Jon Stewart was perfect for it.
+ M not good anymore, new host sucks so bad i forgot his name
@@Bestestboii hey... Trevor Noah's doing really well, he's different from Jon, but he's still funny, charming, and informative
Trevor Noah is very unfunny
@@caseycostello4357 He tries WAY too hard
He's just corporate as fuck
It's indescribable, but there's something stupidly sexy about Jon Stewart.
+Eleanor IsNotGivingYouHerLastName I feel you !
I can describe it, it's the perfect combination of wit and intelligence...
Eleanor IsNotGivingYouHerLastName intelligence and humor
tiny99990 oh I almost copied what you said
He's fine as fuck, he's incredibly smart, he's funny and he's a good guy
"Fred Astaire, the man moved like an angel" was just absurdly funny to me
i love how gronk offers an absolutely useless irrelevant argument as a defense for tom and then turns the focus on to his biceps and genitals... if it was an act then he's a fucking genius, if not, then football really is a dangerous sport... but i agree with jon, he's seems impossible not to love, he puts it all out there and for that "good for him"....
I have this suspicion that Gronk is some super genius and is just acting like a meathead to be an iconic personality.
@@TheKYLEdavid well he did have a 3.5 GPA so....
Gronk is a national treasure.
I'll give Gronk this...he made me laugh harder than I have in a while.
It is 2021, and I'm still laughing!!!
Freaking Gronk...
HAHAHA, the Michael Jordon part was pretty hilarious.
Same lmfao. Hand me that bat, I'm sure I can figure out how it works
Its possible that everything perfect about Jon is in this 7 minute clip. The jokes are spot on, but more importantly I believe his disappointment. Thats what's great about him. I can't tell if he's actually furious at him or its all just a joke to seem so enraged about a story that meant nothing. Probably a little of both, but as a moderate fan of football in general, he's so totally right that I think most of it has to be coming from the heart. And he says it with the gravitas that it really makes you think he's like a Cronkite or something for chastising the guy. He's got the career to back him up and make him seem like that one real voice through all the noise that you should actually be listening to. And the reason its PERFECT is the little joke at the end. My two cents anyway.
most of the issues he talks about are life and death, worldwide oppression type stuff, so I think his coverage of this issue was intended as ironic. still, it is a masterpiece of journalistic comedy.
And still touches the patriot act.
I think he was pointing out the ridiculousness of the outrage, he even says he wouldn’t have given him a hard time if he were from another team
LMAO "thank you.........Gronk."
I miss jon Stewart so much.
He’s back:)
I spat out my drink at that Patriot line
every time I come back to this I am amazed how many jokes they fit into this 7 minute piece. Each one quality too
Thank you....Gronk..
Priceless
Tom Brady is hiding voldemort under his hat
Gimme the somethin' about Mary 🤣
Thank you ... Gronk.
One of the funniest moments in The Daily Show.
IDGAF about sports but Gronkoswki is hilarious af!
Gronk is the man.
Yea he seems super dope. Lol look at these biceps brady likes to hold them while i take it in the behind. All the time while DEEZ NUTZ are being slapped against his!
Michael Henriksen dude wtf are you talking about you ignorant acumen bag.
Gronk is obviously on top.
WindyCityFly3r Travis Kelce will surpass Gronk, Gronk gets hurt to easy/ often.
that Jordan joke made me crack up. He did it JUST to give other players a chance lol
I'm not from America but I loved jon stewart on the daily show
GOT EEEM!!!
Wendy Weedseed Beat me to it
Wendy Weedseed Damn Straight! We got eeeem!!! Four Lombardi Trophies BABY!!!
"If you don't think I'd chastise you if you did it for my team, the Giants... you're absolutely right!" says it all.
Wendy Weedseed Also remember, Viniteri bailed them out in the first two SB wins !!!! Why ??? Because Brady couldn't do it. Bellichek comes to the decision we need an advantage and we got Spygate & Deflategate. These are just the ones they were caught at.

OMG redhead. Thanks for dumbing it down beyond all reason and recognition. Now you can go back to your preschool activities.
Flat out amazes me people don't understand sarcasm...he's jabbing at the ridiculousness of the coverage not tom brady...
patriotsrlife I was beginning to think I was the only one who caught on to what he was doing
patriotsrlife Ima pretty sure he's doing both
Yeah, he is just having some fun with it. If he really wanted to get serious, he would find much better material in the keystone cop investigation.
patriotsrlife "flat out" was that a pun? lol
He is doing
Have you notice how when Tom says: "Yeah, I'm very comfortable saying that", his head is shaking saying no.
"The deflator" what an epic name hahaha :d
Trevor Noah is funny, but I miss Jon Stewart so much
Jon's timing is masterful
Trevor could be 5xs funnier than what he is and still wouldn’t be as funny as Jon. They made a huge mistake hiring him.
Trevor Noah is funny Jon Stewart is hilarious 🤣
The second part of that is true
Never thought Trevor came within a mile of John's talent
Gronk treats sports exactly how they should be treated, like pro wrestling. People are way too fucking serious in what is supposed to be fun and games. We need more athletes talking like Gronk, not less.
True. “These are only inflating 💪”
"Fewer."
/Stannis
2021, 6 years after Jon’s Daily Show still unbelievably hilarious, in comparison T Noah’s daily show is just a show that is not completely boring.
thats what happens when you replace comedy with ideology
Comment reported for bullying of Trevor.
@@NotoriousLightning Naa, he can be funny in the between the scenes, it's the company approved writting of the segments what's boring
The thing that got me most outraged in this whole segment was the Photoshopped picture of Tom Brady in a Giants jersey. *barf*
EXCELLENT work, Jon. And yes, I'm a massive Pats fan.
I saw this when it aired and it's still hilarious
Whenever I hear about deflategate, I hear "LACES OUT!!!"
Ray Finkle got screwed!!! By that damn Dan Marino!
4:45 "yeah I'm very comfortable saying that"
notice how he shakes his head 'no' as he says that, aka a micro-tell
More like, The Fresh Prince of No Air!!!
GOT EEEEEEMM!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a patriots fan, but this video was hilarious
Once again, the nuts have it; the motion carries. Deez nuts have been deflated.
The last comment always gets me. Anyone else still watching in 2020?
Wholesome 👍
Gronk always reminds me of Family Guy's version of him😂
I can’t decide who I miss more, Jon Stewart or Gronk
Deez nuts
I can't be the only one who caught the "bus to Birmingham" joke... maybe it's cuz I live there
DEEZ NUTS 2016!
Bernie Sanders 2016 !!!
+mongol62 Deez nuts as running mate?
I don't get the outrage about him contacting the guys who took care of the footballs after the story broke. If you were completely innocent the first thing you'd do is contact them to find out if there was anything to the story. Then, if you were nice you'd contact them later to see how they were holding up under the scrutiny.
thanksfernuthin People over-anylyze everything. They act like they're psychology professors who know what every small thing Brady did actually means. What you said makes perfect sense.
Dad, how does a team reach the Super bowl without cheating?
I'm not sure son, we're Patriot fans.
I think something really important to remember: deflating footballs is only cheating in theory. There's no precedent of it offering any advantage at all. Especially only half a psi, it would barely be noticeable if at all. So, I must ask, does anyone honestly think a team would cheat in a method that's never been seen to make a difference, with such a small change that it wouldn't be noticeable to anyone, so it would provide even less of a hypothetical advantage?
Aaah Gronk. My favorite flavor of monster 😂😂😂😂
Every time after I watch this clip I go to see videos of Fred Astaire
Because slightly under inflated balls is how the Patriots beat the Colts 45 to 7. There was absolutely no skill involved at all. If anyone of us had footballs that were only a slightly deflated, we could all be multiple time Super Bowl Champions.
Mr. Super Nintendo Chalmers
No one is saying that skill was not involved, but in order for sports to be fair both teams need to be on an equal playing field, where no team has an advantage (no matter how small or big it is).
Gronkowski shows why he is not interviewed very often. People with that low of an intelligence should never be allowed near recording devices.
He had a 3.5 GPA
King Of Boston Which means nothing without the context of the course work he took in school.
I too can get a 3.5 GPA if all I took were art classes. That doesn't mean I'm smart though.
King Of Boston Okay I graduated with a 4.0 GPA taking advanced placement classes. Chemistry, calculus, English, History, and Computer Science. School is not hard. Only imbeciles or people with learning challenges have a hard time regurgitating information.
Also school is more of just remembering information for a semester than actually learning something.
Guyver2391 your dumb as fuck he is entertaining as hell and one heck of a football player.
John Stewart is a great actor. He should act in more feature films.
He learned from the best. Bill "I spy" Bellichick.
In what kind of backwards ass sport does tempering with the ball help your side win? In ACTUAL football, if you deflate a ball both sides would still be on equal ground. Can someone explain this to me?
+PSspecialist 'Merican chiming in each team has an offense, defense, and specialteams ... each team brings 10 footballs each inspected by the ref at the start of play and the center snaps one of said balls to QB of the team who is in possesion of the football (offence)
Both sides use a separate set of balls, you only use your set for offensive plays. In theory under inflation makes it easier to handle and throw and catch. However this whole thing is bullshit, you can mess with the football in any way you want really: use a preferred oil on it, use sand paper to get a specific roughness in a specific area etc. however allegedly removing .5 psi is too far, and gives an unfair advantage
+mikestrong325 If deflating a football .5 psi makes no difference then why do it? It must help somehow or why risk it?
BoneCrusherG1D Comfort basically, the players like their balls a certain way. So you have some players who sand it in certain areas, or oil it in specific spots. they do all this to make the ball feel right in their hands. In this case apparently he finds it easier to throw a ball that has more give in it. Another play who likes their ball pressure at a specific level is Aaron Rodgers. He stated numerous times that he likes them to be over inflated, as he can throw it harder that way.
This is why i thought the whole thing was blown out of proportion. You can honestly do so much to the ball to alter it and break it in, that reducing the pressure by a fraction isnt some diabolical scheme.
+PSspecialist American Football is a confused sport. I'm 'Murican, I can't stand the sport, they can't make up their mind whether to use their feet or their hands, do they kick the ball, do they hug it like a cheap prostitute while they waddle their way down a field whose lines don't even exist in reality... It's dumb...
As a foreigner, who still has no clue about the sport, you call football and play with your hands, I still don't understand, how deflated balls can aid one team while at the same time hurting the other?
***** so you're saying they practiced with deflated balls?
Bob Loblaw but it also allows the qb fron the other team to have a better grip on the ball and makes it easier to catch!
Bob Loblaw Thanks! That explains it! So the balls are switched, depending on what team is in the offense?
ui. Comedy, Quatsch, Vlogs & mehr! Yes, all the balls Brady threw were supplied by the Patriots, while the balls the Andrew Luck threw were supplied by the Colts. The Colts balls met league standards, and 11 of the 12 Patriot balls were under-inflated below league standards.
hello, germany! Essentially if the ball has less air in it makes it squishier and easier to catch. Like if you deflated a (european) football it would get squishy. So if you deflate it you get an advantage because your receiver can catch it easier.
Also it's still football because you use your feet to run the ball atleast in my book. Hopefully this helped a little. I'm from the UK and i watch American sports because i find them more interesting than grown men flopping around a pitch. :P
"among oblong sports equipment, a deflation problem emerges" - is that a variation of a famous headline or a quote or something? sounds familiar
I saw the word "ball" and the word "air" in the same sentence I quickly clicked. And this is not what thought the video would be about ... Lol I need to get my mind cleansed
That last line tho. So true, for me he'd have to be in a Niners jersey
3:09 DEEZ NUTS!!!!
jordon was actually on his way to the majors when a baseball strike "deflated" his momentum, and he decided to give it up.
So talkin bout Deflategate...
But seriously Gronk is so epic😂
Stewart gave it to Tom Shady, Big Time!
if only liar liar pants on fire were true then the nuts would have been roasted.
Oh Gronk. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Tom. Now I can't hear the word "balls" anymore without giggling like a child.
Theeeen Tom Brady goes off to win a total of 6 super bowl rings years later. I totally forgot about this....
Or maybe... That act... Was named after... THE PATRIOTS (jumpscare noises)
Love you Gronk!! You made Jon Stewart break character..
Lmfao love this guy
The Fred Astaire comment gets me every time 😂 (5:22)
I still, to this day, believe that the true reason Michael Jordan left the game of basketball to play baseball was so that he could turn down Bugs Bunny only to later show up and save the universe from TOTAL ANNIHILATION!!!!!
I don't think it's that big of a deal. People juice up all the time. This is overblown
You're probably a patriots fan. This is literally all they do and they need to cheat? That's like being a postman that doesn't actually deliver the mail himself.
aR0ttenBANANA96 no we win because we have a great coach and gm. I'll just let your team over pay everyone. Our 2nd and 3rd string play better than your first string
popcorn20995351 Ha! So obviously you are a Patriots fan! Therefore, you should stop defending your cheating staff and start thinking about who's going to be your quarterback this season!
MinasPraSempre you can't punish probably.
popcorn20995351 im not even a football fan but ok. Your sport is meaningless in the world so i guess thats why its not a big deal because if this was what you guys call soccer there would be consequences.
That reminds me, my subscription to "Deflated Balls Quarterly" has lapsed.
Ya know what really pisses my off about deflategate, the part where I just can not get my head around.
Tom Brady is REALLY good at his job. He doesn't need to cheat to win, yet, he at the very least turned a blind eye and went along with it. All that talent and skill, and he still felt the need to cheat. Sure he did better in the second half with regulation pressure balls, but that doesn't absolve him of his crime.
+Lunar Templar There is actually no evidence (and there is a lot of evidence) showing that TB knew jack all about deflated balls...and then he won in court cause the NFL's cause was garbage...so can people relax, its not a big deal EITHER WAY and right now it seems like he really did do nothing so get over it.
bluesteel22222
way to respond to a post from months ago, try reading post dates before responding and wasting some ones time moron
Lunar Templar maybe you should temper those emotions a bit, would prolly assist you in not jumping to conclusions. Just a suggestion my man.
bluesteel22222 -.- maybe you should stop replying to posts months old.
+Lunar Templar In a social media world, you really expect him to leave that hanging curveball of a bonehead statement alone? There are so many outrageous, unretractable things in print that people cannot outrun, but your erasable, innocuous, weak sauce UA-cam comment is immune? Get with it, bro.
Oh man I love Gronk.... that guy needs to go on tour.
I miss this man.
Yeah but, when they got the correctly inflated balls for the second half, they scored even MORE points...
Damn it Jon we miss ya
You'd have field day with what's been happening since you left
interesting my youtube ''whats up next '' program loaded the Daily show segment on
DEFLATED BALLS'' after the video about Caitlyn/bruce Jenner.....coincidence ? ...I think not
hahah same
Lol all the hot air from the footballs apparently was coming out of bradys mouth
Gronk, as someone who lives in Massachusetts, please stop embarrassing us.
As a Patriot(and Saints)fan for over 40 years, all I can say is, Whaddaya gonna do?
Years later and Gronk's video is still so fucking hilarious
Tom Brady " probably" deflated footballs. Ray Lewis " probably" killed someone...
Wow I really was not expecting the deflated ball thing to already be 7 years old
God I miss JS on the Daily Show 😭
Not a pats fan, but does anybody actually remember the score of the game? It was a blowout. It's not like the deflated balls really changed anything.
Yep, that's how it works. The act of attempting to gain an unfair and dishonest advantage in athletic competition is not cheating if it doesn't account for the difference in the contest's outcome. Similarly, if a would-be thief pulls a gun on a cashier in the attempt to steal money from the register, there's no crime if the register was empty.
Not really.
If I broke 1 leg of each of my opponents before a track meet, I would probably complete the race in less than 1% of the time it would take second place to complete it.
By your logic, I would've won anyways even if all of my opponents had 2 operating legs, just because the margin of victory was so large when I cheated.
2:24. 🤣
Yup, you'd seen it all. Nothing could surprise you.
4:43 covidien ??? 😂
Jon is going to have a show on Apple TV and that alone may get me to subscribe
they call it "foot"ball, despite the fact that everybody can hold it with their hands whenever the fuck they want, the male version of this sport is called rugby
another exceptional thing.
This time I watched this AFTER watching videos of Fred Astaire
Wait why does the sign behind Brady say "Covidien"....
Oh my God.
They knew!
Brady, Gronk... They all knew! They knew all along! And they didn't tell us! *HOW COULD YOU!*
Fun fact, the patriots balls were used for the first quarter. While the colt's balls were used in the 2nd quarter (The quarter where the Pats broke out)
7 rings now
Hilarious, why the heck was Brady wearing that dumb hat at the press conference? I couldn't hear what he was saying because I was trying not to laugh at the hat the whole time.
I have to stop binge watching old Stewart!
Miss this guy! Nothing beats the original
You know how sports imitations of life... look at the country.. and the elections...🤣
I would have expected some type of superimposed image inside of a giant bouncy castle....
I LOVE how he completely mocked the story and still committed to the serious face the whole time. LOLOL!
Highlighted: The part where the word probable was used in context to 'general awareness' made the report a LITERAL NOTHING. It was such a sad investigation.
