Embarrassingly, I haven't really located my pain. It occurs sporadically when I walk up- or downhill, or up and down steps. I'll pay attention to it next time in happens!
That was really helpful Thank you Mine is the tibio fibular pain and I always sit with my legs crossed too! i never knew what it was called before and have tried knee exercises before but was doing the wrong ones. I will try what you suggest, thanks again
Don't feel bad I've been feeling silly because I cant quite pinpoint my pain either. I've almost got it located based on a bazillion steps that stab me out of the blue when I think I'm finally walking almost okay.I can't even limp properly because I can't figure out which action causes the worst pain. Lol. I started using crutches to give my body a chance to heal. I think it helps. @@SibylleLeon
Thank you so much for this video! Perfect timing since I just a few days ago got round 2 of cortisone shots in both knees. The dr doesn't know why I hurt again almost right away after the 1st shot. I fell 3 times around 3 months ago landing on the left knee all 3 times. I felt like something was out of place, slipping around sometimes, and grinding 😂was going on that shouldn't be. Dr says I have a lot of arthritis and a fair amount of arthritis. I switched from cane to crutches temporarily. It's already helped a ton! After starting the crutch use I've felt a lot better. I've had several giant pops that felt like something was shiftin after the weight on them was less. Now I know too to strengthen the extrenal rotators and strengthen the internal ones. Thank you!!! 🙏
Patella tendon hurts when taking stair steps. I am exercising after a very long spondylodese (68 yrs) and having been inactive for years with non stop pain. Since surgery I have a incomplete hemiplegia on the right side. Your explanation makes sense. Very well explained. I just discovered aqua walking which is a blessing.
Thank you for this very informative video. I'm currently recovering from knee pain which has forced me to reduce my running considerably, and which, from your video, I now know is runner's knee. Exercise regime to strengthen knees has begun.
Thank you; that's most helpful in understanding the causes and remedies. I have a meniscus tear (confirmed by MRI); it's probably many years/decades old. Strengthening and stretching exercises have got rid of the recent inner knee pain. However, I need to work on improving flexibility, so as to sit cross legged.
Happily, I have none of these, right now! But in the past, I *have* had meniscus damage, which another of your videos helped me to diagnose. I also had prepatellar bursitis at one point, and had no idea what it was or what had caused it. Mystery solved! No more un-padded tiling for me. Thank you for such an instructive video and excellent demonstrations!
@BodyFixExercises No kidding? Wow! 😆 That was a bad few weeks. Couldn't walk without a cane. At first, thought I needed a pressure/support bandage-- AGONY! Never pressure-wrap that. Finally got used to hobbling around with it, but it was on the knee that I usually take when explaining something at someone else's desk at work. It was such a relief once it healed.
Thank you for your very efficient videos! I don't know if it is the best place to ask but do you have a method to extend a leg that was slightly shortened (by about 1 cm) after a double fracture of the tibia? It is for my friend, she is a dancer and can feel the difference. She doesn't feel any pain (it is an old fracture) but feel the imbalance when dancing and has to compensate it. I wonder if you could make a video to fix this kind of issue as I assume many others would be interested.
miniscus injury for me at the moment. single point of pain on the inner knee at the joint. been 2 weeks now, knee stiff after sitting, only painfull if the knee flexes in or out not bending although it does make normal bending stiff initially
Hello ! New subscriber here ! Very good video- thank you ! My husband has Osgood-Schlatter disease on both his knees. He is in his mid 50s. Can you please make a detailed video on how to treat it at home ? Thank you !
Hi... greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦. Thank you for the informative video..i have pain on my inner left knee for the past 2 months. Have been taking pain killers..went to have an x-ray done today, but it shows nothing. What other test that i can do, that will determine the continuous chronic pain. Plz help
I am definitely having pain just below the kneecap on the outer part of the leg that feels like a burning tendon when I kneel or squat too far but also sore to the touch...how do I help heal this issue?
I get what feels like massive pressure building up in my knees while bent. I can release the pressure (with a loud pop) by straightening the knee, but it builds up to excruciating levels when I can’t straighten (planes, cars, stadium seats, etc). I didn’t feel like any of these knee pains really matched. Arthritis seems to be the closest but I’m only 31 and I’ve had this pain for almost a decade. Doctors have never really taken it seriously because I always manage to have a more pressing issue, but if you’re familiar with this type of pain and know how to fix it, it would change my whole life. I’m currently 6’4” and 340lbs (trying to lose fat), but it’s been an issue since I weighed 180
@@prayformoe I’m working on stretching my iliopsoas because my best guess is that it’s being caused by short and weak muscles keeping my IT band too tight, I’ll let you know if I see a change
what about pain inside the knee? like behind the kneecap and inside the joint in the middle? its sudden onset and happens only when knee is slightly bent, like 10 degree bent. otherwise the whole range of motion is painless. its just at the one point close to when my knee is about to be straight. no hx of injury.
I am 78 and my pain is on the inner right knee, the pain has gotten worse and I started crying and screaming from this pain!! I am icing and taking pain medication and nothing is helping me!!! I can be a sleep and turn, I wake up screaming, I get up to use the bathroom and I start screaming!!!! It's the most agonizing pain when it comes, so I have been getting shots and exercises for 15 years now nothing is working. Please 🙏 🙏 is there a way to make it go away??
Hi i have pain on back right side of my right knee especially when i try squatting. After a certain point it is now impossible for me to squat. Also it is pain ful when i try to sit on figure fore Could you kindly suggest stretches or exercise for this
I got diagnosed with inpingement/inflamed fatpad. You don’t talk much about pain while resting? I was a workout junkie for all my life, now I can’t even stand up cooking food or walking. Doctors do nothing just sending me to each other until I’m tired out/giving up. We have horrible healthcare In 🇸🇪Doctors more Interested In 🤑 and status 🏎️ than actually caring about patients health (at least those who I met about this knee problems). This Is going to be future problems for our society ignoring peoples situation. If you have the same pain while resting + exercising under the kneecap with numb feelings + ”jumping leg muscles”, what Is It? Also no cartilage away/no artrisis. X-ray show nothing. No crp-reactiveness either. 5 years ago this started. Im trying your rubbing runners knee exercise for a month and see what happens…
are you kidding me? After I stopped doing any physical activity for like 10 years i finally get back in a gym and I catch some bullshit called "Runners" knee 3 month in? Bro im no runner i cant even fucking run ive only been incline walking godamnit

Thank you for this video. i just want to ask what uf i have pain beside the outside of my knee because i feel pain there
Thanks for the video! Instead of massaging the outter thigh for a tight IT band, can a foam roller or tennis ball be used? Same thing for tight quads?
Yes, but I find the heel of the hand works a lot better.
Thank you
Excellent.
Could you kindly do a video of how to fix the neck axis
thank you for a very informative video. Can a foam roller help instead of massaging by hand?
Can be ok, but less effective IMO
Thanks

Solution is stop eating processed foods, particularly processed sugars.
