I have had very good results when treating paralyzed dogs with acupuncture. And yep - within 24 hours. 🐾 THE FASTER/ SOONER you begin acp. treatments - the better the results. The longer a condition persists - the more the chi gets habituated to the imbalaced flow. - treatment is like trying to break a bad habit.
Humans who have neuro issues - including strokes or lower limb weakness - have similar responses.
Thanks for posting. I ALWAYS refer my clients to your channel.
Your contrubutions are incredible - and they can reach so many pet owners with few to little resources.

I'm a believer because I practiced acupressure on horse's. I also have a small dog that has acupuncture done every month for the last 7 year's on her. I was told after she had an accident or stroke(we're not sure) that her prognosis was poor she was probably not going to walk if she would even live , the vet sucked the bank account out of hundreds of dollar's before that prognosis!
My new vet wasn't sure he could help but he came to my house and after the second treatment I could see improvement she is 14 now running around and full of life, it will continue once a month for the rest of her life!
I'm so blessed to have found this vet!

I too was a skeptic Dr. Jones until we tried it! Dogs don't know what your doing or why so there is no placebo effect with them! We started out with acupuncture and got amazing results! After about a year she started getting to anxious in the car , because of her dismissing eyesight so we switched her to acupressure. She's 17 and still goes on her daily runs! Yes, she runs! Thank you for all your videos, you are truly helping us care so much better for our animals! Education!!!!

The best part of this video is watching Pippi's facial expressions as she watches you explain things to us and while you're doing the treatment. She's adorable and it was hilarious to watch you two together. With that said, I tried all of this on my 13-14 year old Yorkie mix last night. She's been having some significant stiffness in her hind end for the past several weeks, not sure why. She's on a good joint supplement. The Vet saw her Sat. and short of x-rays etc. which I don't want to do yet, he couldn't find anything "wrong" such as an obvious injury or anything out of place. (X-rays to come if it doesn't loosen up soon). She's not been walking right or holding her tail normally, not wagging the tail much at all, has had a hard time getting up from lying down position. Clearly showing weakness and feeling discomfort in her hind end. Once she's up and moving for a few minutes on a walk she loosens up, but has a hard time doing a full body stretch or shake that goes all the way down her back and to end of her tail. Just having done these moves on her last night and this morning, I can see that she's moving better. She was able to stretch and shake fully on her first tries this morning, she's not struggling to stand up out of a lying down position and she's moving her tail more and holding it more closely to her normal position. Moving with more fluidity and a lot less stiffness. I'm going to keep this up. A couple of months ago she was still bouncing around like a puppy. I'd love to see her get back to that. She's not happy while I'm doing it (not applying hard pressure) so I think I'm hitting some sore spots. But the result seems to be that it's loosening up whatever's causing her the stiffness and soreness, so hopefully this is the answer for her. Thanks Doc! Pippi is lucky to have you for her neighbor!

Dr. Jones, I want to offer my heartfelt THANK YOU for providing this information! It has helped to heal one of my beloved Maltese !🙏🏻🙌🏻💕 I have two ten-year-old Maltese, and one of them, Kendall, began exhibiting very troubling symptoms of some sort of back injury, seemingly out of the blue. He has been a very healthy dog for his whole life and this was the first time I have ever encountered a medical issue that seemed to indicate a potential long-term problem. He was not using one of his rear legs, was sitting in the lazy puppy position, and at times, would wince from pain as both his back legs completely gave out. He was examined by our beloved vet, Dr. Huber of Sarasota, and x-rays were taken. Our vet determined that it was a lower back injury and administered a steroid injection in his back and instructed us to keep him from physical activity as much as possible. He also prescribed an anti-inflammatory that Kendall took twice a day for a month. During that time, there was slight improvement with good days and bad days. Kendall would periodically experience episodes of the same symptoms, wherein his hind legs would seem to just give out. He had a very difficult time getting up and if he walked any more than was required for him to use the bathroom, his symptoms would reappear. While I did see a slight improvement from the steroid injection, rest, and the anti-inflammatory, I was absolutely heartbroken to see Kendall living with chronic discomfort and unable to do the things he loved to do. I began researching alternative treatment options as I understood the risks associated with taking anti-inflammatory drugs long-term. I have always learned so much from your various videos, and so when I came across this one, I was willing to give acupressure a shot. I too was a sceptic, but upon hearing the stories you shared about your incredible results, I decided to try it for 30 days. I also began a regiment of Arnica, which I have personally used with success in the past for inflammation, fish oil, a probiotic, and a hip and joint senior multivitamin that contains the other supplements you have recommended in other videos. I began using the acupuncture techniques for 30 seconds on his hip area, as well as the points on his legs and the point in his back and base of his skull. I was BLOWN AWAY, when the very next morning Kendall was up and getting around WITHOUT PAIN!!! I noticed that he began walking normally again whereas before his hind legs were so stiff that he would do something similar to a bunny hop as his rear legs both moved in tandem instead of independently . It was a MIRACLE! I was so amazed at the immediate improvement, that I became curious to know whether the acupuncture or the supplements were responsible. I stopped the Arnica for a couple days and noticed that he was exhibiting some stiffness, so I immediately started that again. I then got a little lax in the acupressure and when I did, I noticed the most significant decline in his progress. I have concluded that both were a necessary part of the treatment. It has been about a month now since I began your recommended treatment and Kendall is in better shape at ten-years-old than he has been in years! His mobility is that of a puppy! We began our daily walks again a couple weeks ago, starting out small. We do about a half-mile loop each day. At first, he would go about a quarter of the way, then I would carry him the rest of the way as soon as he started exhibiting the bunny hop gate, or if he began to appear fatigued. Each day he was able to go further and further. Today, he literally can run most of the way and he shows no signs of stiffness afterwards. He has slimmed down, which I know also helps prevent these types of issues. He does not require the acupressure on a daily basis anymore either and remains in the supplements. I cannot tell you how much joy your work has given back to our lives. I am beyond thankful for this help you have offered to our beloved little boys and our family’s peace of mind. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you and God bless you!

I started massage, prom ,Tellington ttouch in combination when my Six and a half your old boy tore his CCL completely and we had to do a TPLO to correct it. I also bought many physiotherapy equipments for him, since we were told that more than 60% of canines will tear the other one within a year of the surgery. Then I was introduced to acupressure techniques and Max is now thirteen years old, never tore his other ligament and has not developed severe arthritis, since the surgeon has removed all of his meniscus it is a given. Of course he takes krill oil and curcumin, glucosamine and chondroitin and MSM and Ester C every day with appropriate dosing and he is on all meat diet. So as a person who does the research necessary I totally have had success in applying acupressure. Thank you for your wonderful video.

HI there, do you ever feed store food (kibbles) or strictly on ALL MEAT diet? If so, do you make it home? my poor baby was diagnosed with severe arthritis. Also he had hip dysplasia in the past, and now both sickness got combined and he is barely walking. He used to be the most happiest, playful dog I have ever seen. and now everything has changed. He is 7 year old Tea cup pom. I read some articles about holistic food. Presently I feed him Castor Pollux Organix kibble from Whole Foods. I am willing to try every possible thing to help my baby. Thank you .

The last point is not GB26, it is Du26, a pretty powerful point. Ki3 is Kidney 3, this point stimulates the adrenal glands, among many things, to release endocortisone :) so it helps with chronic inflammation. The Bi U point is the UB or Urinary bladder channel, this does not really treat the UB, but the nervous system. Great video! Thanks!

Dr. Jones, Thank you so much for this video and all the information you post. My son's dog Blue (rottie/lab) has had 2 recent surgeries for a very large lipoma in the top area of his front leg. Unfortunately the surgeries were not very successful, with only partial removal of the tumor possible. Since the last surgery done 2 wks ago he is limping more than he ever did pre surgery. The area he was operated on is still very swollen looking, though it was determined there is no infection. Vet said no more he can do. I am leaning towards maybe accupressure, using turmeric (golden paste), and have also just ordered camelina oil and Flexicose ( a natural mix of msm, chondroitin etc for pain and inflammation ). Have used flexicose in the past and still use today for one of my dogs and is a great help for arthritis, so hoping it will help ease Blue's pain. I would like to find a vet who practices accupressure, to see if this will help with Blue's lipoma. I would like my son and daughter in law and myself to learn how to do this accupressure too. Would love to hear any suggestions of what other natural things might be of help for this problem. Thanks again.

I am looking on here for the exact same reason and what a coincidence, my dogs named Blue also. My vet told me she removed one of these from her brother's dog and they really had a hard time with it healing and she felt it would have been better left undone. However, my dog is having trouble walking and it really rubs on his leg. I feel so bad for him. Please update me if anything helped and I will do the same since I am just starting to research. I didn't think mine would grow so fast but now it's the size of a grapefruit.

How can I access this poster of Lewis and the acupressure points? There is an increase in seizures, and the point you show (GB-26?) works - for a while, then they get used to it. Dogs are succumbing to uncontrollable seizures and no one can seem to find a cause. These healing acupressure points really do work and dogs are happy to participate.

    Dr. Jones,
It is disappointing that my vets, that I went and paid so much couldn't find what is wrong with my 10 yr. old yellow labrador but my friend (who's not a vet) told me she has hip dysplasia today. I wish I can plant a tree that grows money to help her get surgery but unfortunately it's not possible. I believe most vets around the United States are just money hungry and can't do a proper treatment. I am glad I ran into your channel because I heard acupressure is a possible treatment for dogs with hip dysplasia. Before I found out she has hip dysplasia, I had been giving her massages, icing, and making sure she is comfortable on a flat surface with tons of blankets. Now that I know what she has, I will be studying your video all night to immediately do something for my poor labrador!

If not have you seen anything about the CBD oil.. he even recommends it here in one of his videos as a suggestion and many people swear by it for themselves as well as their cats and dogs

Hi Julie, I was just watching Dr. Jones' video and saw your comment. Have you tried Acupuncture and how did it go? I have a 7 year old Tea cup Pom and last week he was diagnosed with heavy arthritis. Also he had hip dysplasia in the past now both sickness got combined and he is barely walking. He used to be the most happiest, playful dog I have ever seen. and now everything has changed. I am going to follow dr. Jones's videos and try to practice some exercises. If you see my comments, would you please send your feed back. I really want to know if those helped over the years. If not have you had any luck with any other methods. Please advise. I hate to see my poor baby suffering and he is my world. thank you

Please help Doc Jones. My dog developed a hard mass on his biceps phemoris right hind leg. He doesn't seem in pain. No problems jumping up or down from the high bed. The swelling goes up sometimes or seems less at times. He doesn't limp. Doesn't seem to be in pain at all but I do notice that if I touch or massage the mass ( very hard and unmovable) he let's me and relaxes. He stretches the leg at will. Has full rotation it seems but I can't afford expansive x rays etc...what should I do? He eats and sleeps well. Still jumps, runs, plays, it just looks odd but doesn't seem to affect his gate. Any advice?

My dogs hind legs stopped working. Happened 4 days ago. He is on codeine and steroid (for inflammation). Vet said, dog has slipped disk, too soon to tell if permanently paralyzed. Said to see neurologist but surgery can run into over a 1000 dollars. I have limited income. Could acupressure help in this case? Thank you for your videos.

I am dealing with a Siberian Husky that has severe problems walking. Acupuncture has been suggested to help him to be able to walk more on his own. The treatments are very expensive so this may not be a choice. I ran across your videos and really want to try this on my own. Please could you give me an idea of what I need to do to help him. We believe he is only 8 or 9 years old and of course we love him.
