I saw them play in QLD (Mackay) in 1998 when I was heavily pregnant with my first child, a son. He eventually learned the drums and plays with different bands.
Will always remember their arrival on world scene. Never saw such a young drummer hit that hard, Daniel's voice was so mature, simple bass but effective lines... Saw them in concert, they were the first part of Red Hot Californication tour... They just killed the stage, everyone agreed they had the performance of the evening, far beyond Red Hot wich were already on a decline.

Lightening in a bottle. The way they were discovered-the impossibly fast success- a really legit fantastic debut album -no bad songs. And that’s the last PJ record owned. Vitology was unlistenable garbage imo All that.....it’d never happen today-or ever again.
