Instead of surround tnt with dirt, you should place sand or gravel above the tnt. After that, ignite it, and the sand or gravel will fall to the tnt, making the tnt's location is not in touch with water and ale to destroy blocks around it.
10:35 an alternative way of getting prismarine for the conduit structure (aside from buried treasure chests) is from ocean ruins , those places where drowneds generate. Some of them have sea lanterns and other prismarine blocks in them
thank you for this! I was worried I'd have to get into my monument before I was ready. there's a ruin very close by my monument so I can gather that resource quickly!
6:38 if you bring honey it only removes negative status effects- so you wouldn’t need to drink another water-breathing pot after drinking it like you would a bucket of milk. Honey bottles also stack unlike milk which is nice.
There's another trick that I always use while raiding the monument, while you swimming in the corridor, try looking for piece of Dark Prismarine in the corridor and mine those blocks, you will always find a sponge room, but there a chance to be an empty sponge room. That explain why u found 1-5 sponges room in every monuments
I needed the some prismarine blocks to build a conduit for underwater building. I had no potions, no armor, and no special weapons. But I was able to extract enough blocks from the temple by using the TNT technique shown in this video. Thank you so much for the help 🙏
Invisibility potions will make this whole process much safer and easier, especially when you move on to constructing a guardian farm above the monument.
@@connorprice1902They won't target you until you're really close to one (like within a block or two). You'll have to be wearing no armor though so it'll be like a one shot kill in hardcore if you bump into one and can't break the beam in time.
9:50 the weird bug is from using riptide trident with depth strider boots. As far as I know there's no flowing water blocks inside the monument, only source water blocks generate there
Somehow, whenever I want to learn something new about this game, and I search for “how to find X” or “How to raid X” your videos are the first to pop up. The monotone voiceover might get a little boring at times, but your video style and editing are both top notch, and you get right to the point instead of making a let’s play. Even more so, the comments and community around your channel also leave tons of useful tips for players. This is a great channel and keep up the good work!
Thank you for the tnt idea can’t believe I didn’t think of that, and thanks for showing me the spots to look for the elder guardians, I drowned at a monument twice but now I am gonna take it down
pro tip: honey bottles when drank removes negative status effects but leaves the positive ones like water breathing and you can carry a stack of 16 as apposed to the non stackable milk bucket
I easily found myself with a conduit, since 2 travelling merchants sold 5 nautilus shells each, and I had found a heart of the sea at random in a buried treasure chest, but getting the prismarine to activate it is a bit harder.. But, of course, as long as you have a bit of dynamite and access to the inside of the temple, just plonking it down in a corner should make it easy to activate and thereby use.
So you can actually set up a conduit before raiding a monument since its possible to find up to 4 prismarine blocks in sunken structures in the ocean. All you to do is find the larger open structure with a gravel floor and mine out the gravel. There should be some prismarine hidden in there
Haven’t watched the full video yet, I just wanted to thank you for the re-upload with updated info.
