I have an iPhone and a 24mp dslr. I send pics from the dslr to my phone and when I compare them to the ones I take with my phone, the results are interesting. 1. Biggest takeaway- for casual snaps of people, the iPhone is much more reliable at getting shots that look good. 2. The best shots from the dslr are better than the best iPhone camera shots. But generally the iPhone produces a larger percentage of keepers. 3. For things the phone camera CAN do well, it may actually be the better choice. It’s the camera I always have with me, it’s always on and ready to go, and people are not intimidated by it. 4. Major things the phone camera cannot do well are sports, birds, anything needing long focal lengths, stopping motion, blurring backgrounds.

Suggestion: sample photos are too small to watch on a phone, though bigger screen wouldn’t be a problem. Make it a little zoom in if you’re comparing on something particular like for example: a missed edge detection on a portrait mode or a detail comparison between two photos. Great content though!
If you shoot in RAW, you do realize that with about two clicks (or maybe even just one), you can create a completely similar exposure on the Fuji as on the iPhone, right? You can adjust the white balance wherever you want. It’s pointless to talk about color differences when comparing RAW photos…
I don't think realize that film sims have different outcomes based on lighting and colors. Also where the face appears darker, I doubt they under exposed and post editing in LR...As someone pointed out, why shooting f5.6 and not f2.8? Also, the raw photos don't look edited to match or even adjust white balance.
Good comparison. It's subtle but you can also see how the iPhone distorts facial features as well, making people look a little different than in real life. For example 8:57.
The real comparison is between sensor size and pixel density. The fact that an iPhone can come anywhere near an APSc sized sensor is a computational marvel.
I tried a whole bunch of Android smartphones this year hoping to find something that would make me switch back to Android, even though I am 100% in the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, Mac mini, iPad). The only one I found that could replace my iPhone is the Pixel 8 Pro. I didn’t encounter the same issues I usually find with Android smartphones. The voice command works perfectly (unlike other Android devices where, for some reason, I can never get the voice command to work on the Gboard keyboard). Additionally, when setting up a new phone, you can have an exact copy of your old Pixel, just like you can with a new iPhone. This isn’t the case with Samsung, etc., where you end up having to put all the apps back into folders yourself, reorganize everything, etc. In the end, I found that the photo and video quality were not as good as on the iPhone, so I kept my iPhone 15 Pro Max and returned the Pixel. However, I’m still looking forward to seeing the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I would be very happy to see Google reclaim its crown as the king of photography. They have the resources and talent; I don’t know what’s missing for them to achieve it. You have to reorganize everything, redo your folders from scratch, etc. This is a basic feature, and Android is advanced enough to have this functionality. I will never understand this.
I think the Fujifilm X100VI is not a professional camera. Yes, the price is relatively high for a fixed lens APSC camera, it has professional specs and features, but it aims toward more casual users who want something to carry around all day every day, and want a camera that has the look and feel of a film camera with digital capabilities. Also, why do you shoot portraits at f5.2 on the Fuji, whereas the blur effect on the iPhone looks like fake f2 ?

Can't really see true differences on on screen side by sides. Certainly better on the TV vs phone , but such limited size. Having had a Fujifilm XT1 for a long time now, there's simply zero comparison vs GFs iPhone 14 Pro when I output some wall prints at work. The relentless bad white balance and yellow hue seems go continue into the 15.
On a small screen for sure, try making large prints or zooming in and you can easily see the difference, any phone picture falls apart quickly and turns mushy. You can try downloading some sample pictures and compare.
@@dsego84 ok. Yeah that is true. But most ppl will view it on a smartphone and compression on social media will likely make everything look the same 🥲🥲
It still wouldn’t match the Fuji. When you blow up the pictures on a bigger display like a laptop or TV set, the iPhone shortcomings will be immediately apparent. On a tiny phone display, people are fooled into thinking that they’re comparable.
It's the sensor size, aps-c vs 1/2.5", it's physics, larger sensors, bigger glass. If it was that simple to compete, they would've done it, people spend serious money on big lenses and big sensors.
@@dsego84 a huge medium format ccd sensor would lose to a tiny modern iphone camera matrix in RAW so it's not all about the size. But where iphones and most other phones really fall behind cameras is in optics, it's literally plastic lenses with some poor anti reflection coating.
Details are of course important. But it’s better to pay attention to the color of your skin, clothes, and overall white balance. It’s better to let some object be illuminated, there will be fewer details but the white balance will be more accurate.
If you get a juicy, color picture with excellent hdr, details, but with the wrong white balance, it’s worse than getting a softer picture, albeit slightly overexposed, but with the same white balance as it actually is.
So... million people are just dumb for buying 2000 euros cameras+2000euros lens. The solution it's an iPhone. Try to zoom a little bit and after doing, return here to comment the results with us. That's no serious.

Le X100VI a une âme, il n'est peut-être pas parfait mais on ne se lasse jamais de l'utiliser et c'est toute la différence avec un appareil photo ordinaire ou professionnel.

Mostly You only focus on your skin tones… plz go attention to details
Details are of course important. But it’s better to pay attention to the color of your skin, clothes, and overall white balance. It’s better to let some object be illuminated, there will be fewer details but the white balance will be more accurate.
If you get a juicy, color picture with excellent hdr, details, but with the wrong white balance, it’s worse than getting a softer picture, albeit slightly overexposed, but with the same white balance as it actually is.
professional cameras will always be better than smartphone cameras...
s24 ultra vs professional camera
Amazing video as always
Samsung galaxy S24 Ultra is better than the iphone 15 pro max😎
Love the iPhone photos. Cancel your pre-order now people.
Vous pouvez toujours prendre RDV avec votre opticien
The x100vi is a profesional camera?
Better comparisson (and better title also) would be:
*"Vivo X100 Ultra vs Fujifilm X100VI - Smartphone OR Proffessional Camera?"* 😉
No phone can match a camera because of lens flare, the fuckin end.
Why is she talking like on speed?
중요한 부분이 빠졌네요. 야간촬영에서는 아이폰의 고질적인 고스트 현상 때문에 이 하나만으로도 아이폰은 전문적인 카메라와 비교자체를 하기도 민망해집니다.
iphone just noise..maybe one day they get big matrix
Portraits on 5.6? Why? 😅😅😅😅
Do it with s24u
Now try both in football match😅
phone = looks a bad vfx, fuji = able for immersion. PHONE = Color unrealistic, Fuji color ok. Who wants to shoot with fake colors ?
Amazing Comparison 👍🏻👌🏻
So... million people are just dumb for buying 2000 euros cameras+2000euros lens. The solution it's an iPhone. Try to zoom a little bit and after doing, return here to comment the results with us. That's no serious.
Of course, pro camera fujifilm ❤
Compare it with Sony A7Siii 😂
And i am guessing the iPhone won the blind camera comparison since you did not mention the results 🤭
Shooting portraits in f/5.6? just lol
The comparison 🔥
Don't put a photo of yourself taken by the iPhone on Tinder! 🥰🥰❤
am not a model or a pro photographer so my phone cam is enough for me
Hey now, let's check it out.
Unique comparison video
Iphone is hundred years behind)) it never can be better than real camera. IPhone pictures looking like cartoon pictures with gray skin tone))
I don't understand why your face on the iphone looks so not good
Stupid comparison. Especially the comparison of the bokeh when you set the aperture to 5.6.
The Winner : Vivo X200 Pro
Fuji looks good
Not bad but it has a lazy eye in portrait.
