Just view this model at 1Utama...the car's look outstanding and definately better in real live..the interior is awesome, material used is on par compare to bmw f30...i will get one..
All things considered, the price of recent Mazdas are actually totally reasonable, just that people need to know the cars Mazda has been producing recently aren't just some other generic mainstream vehicles.
I still feel it is a bit expensive..reaching D-segment/SUV range already while using naturally aspirated engine. Although the engine technology is better, not much improvement from previous models. But all IMHO only

Hafiz Rahim The new D segment car price will starts at 200k. New Camry is around 200k, and new Honda Accord is at 207k.

thats what I liked about the Skyactiv Transmission! its so clever and its auto instead of CVT shit like all japanese using currently. which is why I bought Mazda 3 previously at 2016 no regrets, still enjoy my ride till today. But this new model damn sexy!! love it! will take Sedan though xD.

@@Kyle-kc8cw cvt's only advantage is being fuel efficient but other than that the gear changing characteristics are just atrocious
@@Yddp3307 For one, it does not even change "gears". It can simulate the feeling of gear shifting. Unless this simulation is what you're talking about, then I agree. It's pointless to have it simulating gear shifting.
Are you also sure that the only advantage of a CVT is in fuel efficiency? Also maybe give a thought on the general type of cars fitted with CVT. You'd find many answers that will make better sense why they have CVT instead.

@@MrSimon9100 Even though it's mostly subjective. That's true. While I somehow found a way to appreciate a CVT, sometimes it just feels boring. But some days, especially during a chilled drive, it's relaxing. Smooth all the way.
I expect to see more mazda 3 on road... yea it's a great car, I would love to see the skyactiv-X comes to malaysia after RON95 petrol has been upgraded to EURO 5

Your comment is funny. There are many cars that Bobby felt it's fun to drive, he had to buy it all? He is just stating the fact how some dumbos are looking down on the new m3 before even trying it out and feel the quality itself.

These cars used for test drivers by customers, journalists, and such are intended for such use.
They are sold at a lower price after a while, they are certainly going to go for fewer thousand kilometers than standard-kept cars, and that's it.

When the rear "dials it in" for the front when you lift off the throttle, it is because of GVC+ or torsion beam doing its magic? Hard to tell which is doing what unless you turn off the GVC (which cannot be done as I'm told). I would like to know how the chassis is tuned (passive handling characteristics).
Mostly due to how they setup the car.

A rear torsion beam is good for handling but bad at comfort, especially irregular road surfaces. Can't wait to try this model!
After you test this... Will totally change your mind. It is even better than previous multilink version Mazda 3...
oh ya most important... This torsion beam is different than others japanese car. Mazda has patterned it.
Bobby, you were saying the build quality is almost Audi level but does it close or on par with VW instead? I had the opportunity to sat in both mazda3 sedan and hatch during the preview period earlier this month as well as in VW passat B8 twice but could not discerned the apparent quality differences between those two brands..

They do come in 4WD as well in some markets.

Previous version Mazda 3 already far far better than civic, you can find tons of comparison video. The new Mazda 3 is totally another level, please don't compare to civic anymore, it is not fair. Some youtuber compared it to Mercedes a class, BMW 3 and Lexus.

Chris Heng No. The new mazda 3 does not run on runflat tyre.
Torsion beam can shine on a flat smooth surface, but not on uneven road. Previous gen mazda3 more comfortable and less bumpy for daily driving.

Any engineer with sanity knows the apparent differences between torsion beam, multi-link and double wishbone suspension set up, with torsion beam being the least preferred except for reason of cost and space saving.
It's interesting how many complain about the price of any and every car... except the German ones, who are the only ones to be seriously overpriced.
And since people keep buying them uncritically at a higher prices than their worth, the German makers make their cars a little worse as time goes.
Price high, quality down. And everyone's happy like that, it seems.

A200 is not worth the price. 227k without adaptive cruise control , blind spot monitoring.. etc No sunroof. Dont buy A200.
