this is what I've been saying about this game! There's a scenario in New California that's cooperative, but to have the option to play any scenario cooperative sounds great.
Right? I found myself only playing the coop scenario over and over. Now there’s so much more to play as a cooperative experience. Personally, I think the game should have been cooperative in the first place.
@@AsPerMyAbility you totally convinced me to buy it lol I was looking up videos for ideas to paint the miniatures, and I’m very happy to have stumbled across this review
@@AsPerMyAbility honestly, with the way the game is, it would be make sense/ be more brutal if there were more ways to interact with the other players on the board, with maybe fighting them directly and stealing items or making temporary alliances to team up to fight monsters lmao
I Just bought the fallout board game and ended up ordering atomic bonds right away because when I read the booklets playing against another player felt wrong. Just like you felt.
You're just playing the game wrong that's all. It's not a difficult game to add homebrew elements. One that I've found is neat, is using those silly waypoint markers... as DIBS markers. You got a quest line you really want to do, let each player have a DIB marker, and I mean, everyone who is worth anything at all... respects the rule of 'Dibs' The game has so much potential... it's like Pokemon Master Trainer... I've done things to that game, yes used some other open source stuff other people have done, but I'd say that only encompasses about 25% of the changes I've made, like assets obviously. And the game is actually something me and my friend Ryan play a lot because we're playing it as like a co-op rivals Pokemon adventure. Also as for the Fallout Board Game... the Agenda points are stupid... I treat Fallout more as a board game that I want to enjoy the journey NOT the end-game. In fact whenever I play it, it usually only ends once the faction tracker is like 'Welp, we hit the end of the story' and I'm like 'Aww okay cool. I can't wait to play again :D'
Interesting. You told me that I am playing the game wrong….and then proceeded to tell me about all of your home made variants and house rules in order to play the game correctly. Typically, my general rule of thumb is I stay away from house ruling games - that means I’m not interacting with the game as the designers designed it. Games that need house rules just to be fun usually don’t stay in my collection for very long.

That’s awesome. I wish I had someone in my life that painted miniatures! Lol.

Can it be played solo?
Yes. With this expansion you can play solo.
Thank you for your video! I bought fallout. Man it feel like a mess! The agenda end up make everyone lose. Got to try order atomic bond
