There is a HUGE modding community if you play on PC/ LT for all three of these games . They have added the F/O4 interface to 3 and NV. And the number of mods.and DLCexpansions for these three games is just insane now. Little more limited if you play through X-Box as you can just get the licensed DLC's for each game , the hugh number of player mods/exps/DLC is not there with the X-box I cannot say if you can use an X-box controller on a PC with a F/O game, I got an X-box , so play on it, I really like console controllers rather than mouse and keyboard , I am very old school about vid games (over consoles I prefer the old free standing arcade games and also "telephones" when they were still "on the wall" , beepers were OK, but cellphones suck LOL). Other than that, SUPER well filmed playthrough!!! Crystal clear to understand everything and follow along. That must've been a lot of work to edit. Cheers to you.
Nice playthrough. Yes, you did make an awful lot of mistakes during this game, partly I feel because the game IS a bit fiddly and there's lots to keep track of; remembering to add XP and re-spawn another one when you kill an enemy, remembering which enemies have moved, remembering it's rad 5 to trigger the mutation, all the little rules like aggressive, ranged, whilst simple still need to be kept in mind as you play. One thing you did wrong throughout was when applying XP. As per the Rules Reference p14 > When a survivor gains multiple XP, he or she moves the peg for all gained XP, and then performs the steps for each level gained during that process. Whereas you moved XP until you leveled up, then leveled up (adding the SPECIAL token) and then continued adding the remaining XP. Whilst this didn't really cause you any issues (because you forgot to move the peg at all on occasion!) it's worth making the point for other players that you add ALL XP, then add your SPECIAL tokens for each level up you gained.
Like you I also didn’t like the game especially the end game mechanic. I sold it before the expansion came out. I’d probably enjoy the game now but so far I haven’t bothered or considered buying it again. Biggest issue I would have with this game now is the hex’s. Way too small just like the horrible JiME tiles.

Got a question about card 69. My girlfriend just completed the second option at red rocket and it says add 70. Where do we add it to? I think 70 is a vault 84 card
You always include the card into the deck that the back of the card matches. If there is no vault 84, it starts vault 84! :)
@@OneStopCoopShop even if she isn't on vault 84 tile? She is at red rocket
I think so? But you know if an on bgg in sure someone smarter than me knows!
Have you played any of the fallout videogames?
Not sure about Colin, but I'm a huge fan of the series. I played 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, 4, Fallout Tactics, Fallout Shelter, etc. :)
- Mike
Sadly I haven't but now I want too haha!
@@OneStopCoopShop Play 3 first then NV then 4 then skip 76 and then if you have a computer play 1 & 2. Also Fallout shelter is pretty fun too
@@OneStopCoopShop Fallout 4 has the best interface and graphics, and is a good game. F/O 3 and F/O New Vegas are pretty good too(their interfaces are dated compared to F/O4). There is a HUGE modding community if you play on PC/ LT for all three of these games . They have added the F/O4 interface to 3 and NV. And the number of mods.and DLCexpansions for these three games is just insane now. Little more limited if you play through X-Box as you can just get the licensed DLC's for each game , the hugh number of player mods/exps/DLC is not there with the X-box
I cannot say if you can use an X-box controller on a PC with a F/O game, I got an X-box , so play on it, I really like console controllers rather than mouse and keyboard , I am very old school about vid games (over consoles I prefer the old free standing arcade games and also "telephones" when they were still "on the wall" , beepers were OK, but cellphones suck LOL). I need to venture into F/O on PC/LT to check out the hugh mod community and their work. You simply cannot play all them now, there are 100's
IMO, you can't go wrong with F/O 4 or FO3 or NV , all good vid games.
Guys is playing supermutant or supermutant traint ANY GOOD, i consider him weakest of the game, he gets rads for exp , but its not worth it kind of , is supermutant trait any good? does it anything besides few encounters in the game ?
Not sure really!
I don't know, don't you like leveling up? How are they weak?
Round 12: I thought super mutants were immune to rads?
I'm sure you are right!
Game looks fun now. But the entry ticket becomes expensive...
I found the entire package for a very cheap trade so maybe others will be able too as well?? Thanks for watching Franck!!
Keep an eye out on Gamenerdz.com or Miniature Market. They had it on sale and I got both the base game and NC expansion for like $55!
@@abelsarinana727 Thank you. Living in the Old World, shipping prices are what kill the price of boardgames from MM.
@@Hybban Yes I definitely understand that! Although I live in the States, shipping items international is always brutal for whoever I'm sending to so I totally get it.
I didn't want to get fallout but with atomic bonds bringing coop I might.
You just bought have to its great!!
The base game is just fine. Not sure why it get so much hate.
looking for a game that works well solo, coop and vs all 3. Any suggestions?
I really dig the game Hard City! It’s super cool- and the cut scenes make the game so fun. Can be played solo, co-op, and a one vs. all mode
@@theearlyresetband thanks
Another one is Gloom of Kilforth or Shadows of Kilforth!
@@OneStopCoopShop gloom of Kilforth is so good 🤘🏻
@@OneStopCoopShop I know its coop and solo but I just ordered Too Many Bones and should get it Saturday. Cant wait to open that and get playing. I have saved money for almost a year for that one.
The way you pronounced BUFF OUT made me laugh
Haha I'm never good at saying things...
Saw this at my LGS wanted to see some videos before paying money for it
Hope this helps!
@@OneStopCoopShop oh for sure I don't think I'm gonna pick the new California one up at first but I'll Def get the base and the atomic bonds one
Nice!!
Umm. You had a head or arm hit!!! On your first roll!
Oops!!
Now wait a minute.. there's story texts troughout the entire game, but in the end there's no story for completing the last final quest?! Come on, that was so anti-climatic. Other than that, SUPER well filmed playthrough!!! Crystal clear to understand everything and follow along. That must've been a lot of work to edit. Cheers to you.
Haha I know!! Hope can they do that!! Regardless a blast I need to get this one out again. Thanks so much for watching!!
Yes that’s another reason why I didn’t like the game. Unfinished storyline’s, quests.
Homeboy talking about bloat flies like they aren't real. Seriously though, don't look them up. You'll regret it
I think ill pass!! Haha!!
As per the Rules Reference p14
> When a survivor gains multiple XP, he or she moves the peg for all gained XP, and then performs the steps for each level gained during that process.
Thanks
Cool does OP have a video with no mistakes and all perfect? Didn't think so 🤪🤪
Like you I also didn’t like the game especially the end game mechanic. I sold it before the expansion came out.
I’d probably enjoy the game now but so far I haven’t bothered or considered buying it again.
Biggest issue I would have with this game now is the hex’s. Way too small just like the horrible JiME tiles.
Oh I hear you!
Watching your excellent play through a second time, I realise how wrong I played this game in my first run today! 🫣
Oh shoot! Hopefully your second play is better!!
