Nate, don't let it bother you when people say you're a fraud. They are "LOW LIFERS" and "JEALOUS " of your success on the channel and your knowledge for catching big fish. They probably don't have two nickels to rub together. Thanks for another great video! 👍
You always come across as a straight up, honest dude, people can show their worse side when jealousy is in their heart. I want to see a catch and cook for some of that smoked sheepshead dip, sounds awesome!
Great footage,Nate!!!!! The proof is in the footage. Haven't been sheepshead fishing in awhile but this is making me really want to go. Man don't worry about what other people say you keep doing what you are doing . Really love your videos!!!! You are one of my favorites!!!!!!!
Second sheeps vid I watched. Crickets, now worms. Like I commented in the other video, I've never caught one. Have to target them soon. Btw, I talked to a guy here in Savannah who catches trout on the small red wrigglers in the spring and fall. Crazy... can't wait to watch more of your videos! Love how excited you get!! (My wife thinks I'm nuts when I act like that catching fish😜)
Having some haters can be a good thing because they Fuel your motivation to create awesome content like this and it feels so good to prove them wrong. This isn't a tik tok challenge but if it were, the other guy failed. If it does become a challenge though, it started with Nate!
Awesome video as always! In my defense, I never called you out as a fraud. In my video I was just experimenting with the worms and mud crabs in my area of Florida and didn't catch Sheepshead on the worms. I made it clear in my video that I'd proved to myself that the worms didn't work in my area of Florida. Great idea for a video though, good job!
Some people have to bash and call people liars just to make themselves feel better. It’s sad that but it’s a reality unfortunately. You keep doing you love watching your videos.
Wish the haters would take a hike, but glad you did the underwater video because it was badass. Talk about a sheepshead hot spot! I've been fishing salt water with worms for years, and I can attest that Sheepshead LOVE worms. Salt water worms are a staple of their natural diet, so it makes perfect sense they'd slurp any worm you dropped down. Anyone out there saying it's fake because they don't catch anything with them, just proves they don't know how to fish.
I don’t know why I’ve never thought of using worms to catch Sheepshead but thinking about it, it actually makes sense. The Ocean bottom is literally CRAWLING with invertebrates and while there aren’t going to be any Earth worms down there, there are HUGE numbers of Polychaetes (segmented worms), flat worms, round worms, etc. and within each category there are probably dozens if not hundreds of different species. There’s a huge biomass down there so why wouldn’t Sheepshead be eating them and Earthworms look close enough for government work
I live in Pensacola Florida and saw your video and tried it. Dude it totally works we made Bank on the convicts. That was last year, my nephew is skeptical too but he went with me and he said dude I'll never use anything else if they have a little bit of Sun so they can see it and you don't drop it all the way to the bottom you just have to find the right column of water and it works great and a little bit of sunlight helps a lot
Nice catching SS I'm in the UK and sadly don't have fishing like you do. I used to run an angling boat from Brixham in Devon. Wrasse and rockfish in inshore waters up to maybe 6 lbs, wreck fishing in deeper waters with Cod, Ling, Conger eel, Bass, etc. I was lucky enough to visit the US for two three month holidays up in Superior Wi and Duluth Mn. Fresh water of course but caught Sturgeon up to 94 lbs, Large mouth Bass of 81/2 pounds. Us Limeys don't measure fish in feet and inches, but rely on weight instead. You have a new fan buddy. Nate knows how to get on the fish! Fishermen like to catch fish. No way someone’s going to waste their time not catching fish and pretending some bait works that doesn’t when they could be catching something! Look at the flock of sheep he caught!

I live in San Diego and one night it was raining, on my way to fish at the pier/ocean I walked past the bar where top gun scene was filmed I seen worms on the ground crawling out I picked up about 12 of them rigged them up and caught sea bass on salt water with live worms so I believe this guy
I'm very impressed with the footage. The water clarity is similar to one of the bays we fish. Maybe a foot or so of visibility. I'm even more impressed (or maybe surprised) that there weren't fobs of croaker and pinfish. We have to fight our way through those guys to even get to the sheepshead.

im sorry for people talking smack bout the power of worm. i will say i have caught a few sheepshead on worms. the reel reason im commenting is i would like to see how you do with some jigging spoons around those bridges. there meant too fish vertically so they should work well with ur style of fishing. thanks for bringing us fishing with ya and sharing your knowledge.

Trying to prove or disprove something in fishing is almost impossible. If the fish aren't biting it doesn't matter what bait you use. Knowledge and skills matter too. I tried worms once and didn't catch anything. It only made me believe there were no fish there or they just weren't biting. Still going to try them.
Awesome! Hey question before u had a motor how did u keep the pdl close to the pilings without messing up your kayak?? Did u have some sort of bumper or did u just let the sides get messed up?

If you have too many worm in one bin most will be small especially older bins. If you start a new bin and add those small ones into it and give it 1-2 months you’ll see big ones if you feed decently. I have several worm bins.
