I personally think “Port Khazard” on UA-cam is even better than Woox by a long shot at PVM.
If you haven’t seen him on UA-cam (which I can tell by his subscribers most of you haven’t) you need to it’s insane.
He’s done lvl 3 firecape (only person to after they patched Rendi and Xact’s method they used)
Killed Zuk from inferno without ever attacking it (absolutely insane - only person to ever do it)
Killed 6 jad challenge with 1 prayer point, 1 hitpoint, and only using 1 ITEM. (Never seen anyone else come close to this)
All videos on his channel too.
how about interviewing the current 3! rs player or Telmomarques ?
December 2?!
I can't believe you didn't mention the fact an entire technique is named after him! Woox Walking!
It is because I have died one too many times at Vorkath and would rather not mention it
@@KempQ lol
Rip
@@KempQ hahaha fair play
I was about to type this...
Woox eating food in Rimmington store was so legendary.... The Twitch chat went crazy
Super nice of mod ash too!
I've been playing runescape since the beginning, and I've never been a PvMer, skiller, I just strictly play for PvP. i was so hyped when DMM came out, it felt like osrs was going into a "semi-esport" realm, and it was awesome... With that being said, I was so disappointed when Woox didn't officially win lol.. He won fair and square, if he would have done some insane bug, I could understand, but he was simply using a mechanic that has been in OSRS for a while now..
Seeing that live was the best thing I've seen that year. All I could think of was 'he's doing it, that crazy motherfucker is doing it.'
That was so great to see live just in a pink skirt iirc 😂
you forgot to mention they made the dominion tower in rs3 with all the quest bosses and told him he would have a hard time, then he did it with an inventory of cabages
The Woox V Jad with 1 prayer and no items, along with the Pernix Body solo was legendary to me and my brother. We were both pretty new to the game and it was awesome to see Woox pull off insane feats, and still to this day!
Woox being the first to complete the Chambers of Xeric on the Twisted League (I believe) was one I personally witnessed. The man is a legend and it's amazing to see how involved and passionate he is for the game and community.
The things men can do if we don't jerk off and fuck around with women....we can be woox too
ayyy ur one of the comments in the video, also that pfp is cursed
@@JammyOkay Thanks lmao, I was surprised to see myself selected as a reaction to Woox's CTC.
Woox is like the John Wick of Runescape. A man of focus.
john woox
John Woox Boys, John Woox.
"He stole his first tinderbox sir..."
"Oh."
You honestly cant help but love Woox, his game mechanics are undeniable but his soft spoken quirkiness make him lovable.
His ‘tism?
I think the lvl 3 firecapes in osrs is more impressive than anything woox has done
I literally got goosebumps watching all the old pvm challenges he completed. Truly a legend.
woox is a childhood hero
I got to witness him get the first ever infernal cape live and it felt surreal im pretty sure he crashed some of the worlds he hopped to because of the instant 2k people trying to get on his world, he was walking around varrock square and I felt like I was at the falador massacre with people just spamming and insane lag
awh man falador massacre. those were the days
Internal cape was in your childhood? God I'm getting old..
@@omgfackdehell no lol I was watching him back in 09, I just happened to be on twitch when woox was going for infernal cape
Woox also discovered nature island in the wilderness during CTC1, a big accomplishment too
That comment you showed at 6:05 was actually saying "born for pvm" the player not that "woox was born for pvm". After seeing that clip I went to Born's channel after not hearing fromhim for years and his recent video comments all say RIP and that's how I just learned that he died from a motorcycle accident 8 months ago. Holy shit. Born For PvM was in Simon and James Runeshark's God Sword Set From Scratch series. And that series was like a part of my childhood. Idk how to feel rn tbh. I feel like RuneShark's GSSFS was the first ever exposure I had to DIY runescape and they definitely made it mainstream. It directly led to One Man Army and OSRS Ironman modes. Its a shame that nobody remembers them nowadays.
you awoke a whole pocket of my memory
Wow totally forgot about RuneShark. Those guys were awesome. Whatever happened to them?
@@TheCWasson12….
Wtf born for pvm died???
GSSFS remains as my all time favourite YT show for Runescape. That one and RS Gods Exposed. Amazing content. Born for Pvm was also there for Woox when they trio'd Nex for the first time ever, and duo attempts. RIP, amazing pvmer and content creator.
great video but how do you fail to mention the 6 jads with no prayer?!

Keep up the great work!!
I remember watching his tormented demon with steel titan guide. Took me weeks to get close to his kill per hour, still never got to his level obviously. Made me a lot of geepee back in the day. My hero
Beautiful video Kemp! Loved it. Woox has been a legend since before some people were born that play Runescape. Incredible.
Had no idea that was pre-eoc Woox at the Myth's guild. Such a amazing easter egg, especially along with the examine text.
Okay, but Mod Ash coming through with 10k of his own money to award to Woox is the hero we needed. Mod Ash is truly a treasure.
Also, love that Woox has been popping off since 2008!
Began watching Woox when he uploaded his Nex Duo with Stokenut. And he is still pushing the limits of what can be done, amazing!

I played RS as like... a LITTLE kid. Came back like 5 years ago to RS3. I missed the reign of Woox, but his mythos is TRULY legendary and he is still mentioned often in the conversation of gamechanging pvmers.
The name Woox really starts to sound weird after hearing it 40+ times in a video. I've been watching woox since preeoc and I'm so happy to see these old names stay relevant in a game that just keeps on growing
VERY nice video ! Woox reminds me of evil lucario and what he's doing with runescape 3, truly 2 legendary players that are doing amazing things !
In rs3 we have a few more, couchy comes to mind
Great video. Who doesn't love Woox? I remember the first video i saw and I just thought "who is this guy??" Little did we know a legend was in the making.
You covered a lot of big stuff here, but wasn't he also the first to solo raids 1? I distinctly remember watching his stream and he got a TBow on that run. Maybe it was the first no death solo or something. Other have mentioned his Legendary nex content from RS3 as well. The guy is an absolute treasure to the community and I'm glad he still is so active.
Tbh i've always thought oh theres nobody ever gonna be coming close to legendary status or popularity as zezima but tbh Woox is getting up there.
Imagine an OSRS fresh start world speed run Woox vs Zezima
@@delanuma5 that will be the battle of Innovativeness vs Efficiency
@@rekx3497 Innovativeness would probably work, with Woox's mind at the helm.
Zezima is legendary status because he was the number one king of the game. A total enigma, nobody knows what he looks like. He could have had one of the biggest youtube channels or twitch channels if he didn't value his anonymity so much. Maybe it's just down to opinion but I see Zezima being the best, number one most iconic player Runescape has ever seen and Woox as a prodigy at PVM. Zezima accomplished everything before efficiency was even considered.
I was there back in 2005-2010 he was a celebrity
I just smoked all my grandmas heart medication and am watching kempq RuneScape videos
Everybody laughed pal.
Absolutely LEGENDARY! I still revere this an as a gaming god and probably always will, much deserved documentary imo. Someone should make a longer one and breakdown every achievement(how he did it/why it was thought impossible at the time).
Some people are just born different, woox is truly an extraordinary human being
High functioning autism, perhaps ...
Crazy that you didn't even get to his dominance in King of the Skill or how we have the phrase "Woox didn't do the inferno with no supplies for you to die with brews in your inventory."
I was looking for a comment like this ^^
You can tell Kemp didn't put alot of effort into this video. Seems like he found a reddit post and just read from it

That corp clip brings back memories. I miss my 2009 to 2012 rs. The irony is 2007 is adding a bunch of content from that era that mimics what we had then.
Okay but the donning of the cape is about as epic as that gets. Nerdy af, yet immensely cool at the same time
It's great that he did all sorts of feats both in osrs and rs3. Pretty sure he was part of the first team to duo Vorago back in the early days of the boss.
Mod Ash gave out 10k for that. That’s actually insane. We love Mod Ash even more than before

This was such an amazing video to reminisce on
Just searched for KempQ on UA-cam while being subbed, forgot to check subscriptions lmao
Very nice indepth video of edging out Woox.
However, I am surprised you did not include the fact that Jagex put a statue of him in the game.
It was mentioned in passing
@6:05 woox AND born for pvm, (not WAS born for pvm), Born For PVM was a youtuber who played a lot with the runeshark guys (GSSFS).
died early 2022 btw :(
This is by far the best osrs channel… thx kempq
A lot of legendary players. I loved this guy channel
6:04
Born for PvM was another well known pvmer back then. Gained popularity for corp/nex videos and being part of the Godsword Set from Scratch series. Passed away recently from street racing
Woox being the master behind crack the clue is very 'you die a hero or live to become the villain' energy
I remember being in Amsterdam for a Pokemon Go event. Some pokestops had lures from a player with the name "WooxWon"
Would anybody please help me figure out the name of the music in his ending statement? It starts at around 13:30. Such a beautiful tune.
I remember when he first solo'd Corp back i was addicted to the game and loved playing, it was crazy. I managed to solo it eventually as well like others did but wasn't really efficient at it, did some to say could do it. used so much supplies per kill. It was a good challenge tho and lot of fun in those old corp days doing duos or trios hanging out in Mirc and vent or TeamSpeak
nice last airbender reference in the intro. wonder how many people catched that
It was crazy when he first beat Corp. But when he did it with all those insane challenges. Ppl struggling to beat a boss and he does it without food lol. He's done so much cool stuff in the game
That duo fireball jutsu at 10:20 was clean
OFC woox will be back.!!!
this man was born to play this game, give the man some time to party IRL....
6:05, you read that completely wrong haha. Loved the video anyhow
great video but kept waiting for when you would mention "woox walking" too XD
I know it’s been said and I know the confrontation behind it but I’m sad you didn’t bring up the vorkath method. Mainly because I played this game in 2008 F2P and stopped shortly after and picked it back up on day a few years ago on a fresh account and after all the trial and error of playing the game without guides except for vorkath, Zulrah, and Corp I finally got “the walk” achievement and I’d love to learn more about his accomplishments
His ISP is legendary as well. Holy crap!
For real, dude. This game was never that stable for me at that age.
Sweden
6:21 "when the world needed him the most, he vanished" x'D nice unexpected way to stay on the theme of the meme
He is a legend that we will never forget, a hero within the world of Runescape
Has anyone solved the braille (dot-23) clue on the maps from W00X's Crack the Clue 3?
Love it, thanks for this
Kemp, at 6:04, you misinterpreted that comment. "Born for PVM" is the username of Mod Kieren's old RS2 account. I remember watching Kieren play alongside RuneShark leading up to EoC (to my knowledge, both Simon and James of RuneShark and Kieran quit when EoC came out). Kieren was also the one who conducted the interview.
Born For PvM was not Kieran. Kieran was FairytaleRS. Born was another friend of the RuneShark channel. He was on several Runeshark series and he eventually quit RS for League. And I just found out today that he died 8 months ago from a motorcycle accident.
10:20 That zoom in **Chef Kiss
Woox will forever be the goat of osrs. Not only is he a literal pvm god hes super kind. Deserves it all hope he continues to catch Ws
Awesome video! 👌 This man is a beast
I'm surprised you mentioned nothing about king of the skill, where he demonstrated insane mechanical skills and game knowledge as well
I remember him completing the Dominion Tower with cabbages as a Jagex challenge
9:58 he was a god the moment he solod corp. I remember watching that video on upload like it was yesterday.
I remember when I first got into RuneScape, and I only heard stories of how scary hard corporeal beast was. So I did a quick UA-cam search and saw woox soloing him. I was shocked.
Rest in peace Born ❤️
dead?
Who?
@@IlIllIIIIIl Born for PvM. Died last year.
Crazy how Woox's claim to fame was that he was the first one to think of lowering Corp's stats before fighting him lmao, back then everyone just assumed his stats reset with his HP when you left, but it didn't really become public knowledge until early OSRS, I was in a smaller clan with some friends back then and we were some of the first people to figure out how he actually soloed Corp, we figured he was spamming SWH specs before the fight, he was on Lunars so he could check Corp's stats if he wanted to, and he went through several hammers during his solo grinds, something that would be hard to do if you're only hitting the 3-4 specs per fight, we figured he's going through far more than that per kc. We were soloing Corp not long after him, but he is indeed the guy that made it famous. The thing that really cemented him as a PvM legend was soloing Nex. Even to this day in OSRS that's almost impossible to do, only Port Khazard has done it and that was with a red x stall that got patched. In Nex's current state she has not been soloed yet which is insane.
i always loved Woox man, he gives us hope to try things lmfaooo!
That intro is legendary
This is one of, if not the best KempQ video I've ever seen. Hats off to you KempQ, Woox is the greatest Scaper we will ever see.
Hats , it’s “hats off to you”
Woox is perfect to host the Crack the Clue event. He's not just really good, he's creative about ways to beat stuff, etc
he also won king of the skill event november 2017
i think it's safe to say
he already is one of , if not THE best rs/osrs player of all time
These types of games are what we need more of.
It's difficult, insanely difficult to break the game and become OP, but, it's possible, though very few do it or try it because it's actual work, but notice you have the freedom to do it.
Nowadays companies control too much of how they want players to play, the programming, the balance, it becomes stale quick.
"Oh we don't want players to use this, do this or that here, let's just heavily script it"
instead of
"we need a plan for if X happens or players use this, that, etc"
The amount we know about games now is mind blowing. All the digging into codes, figuring out patterns, learning to abuse in game mechanics, etc. It's so different than how we "broke" the games as kids.
Yeah especially now because of the internet communication all these ppl can work together and combine ideas.
lol he reminds me of zezima. i remember when i was like 10 years old i went to lumby and accidentally ran into easily 200 people crowding around zezima and i had no idea what was going on. i didn’t even know who he was at the time. it blew my mind how many people were following him around so i did too out of pure curiosity lol.
He's live right now on twitch :3
I stopped playing runescape over 15 years ago, but it's cool knowing there some dude who is pretty well known playing rs. I invested too much time into that game getting 99 mining 84 smithing max level etc. I played when Santa hats and bunny ears were being dropped. And masks sold for 500k lol
I still think Woox displaying absolute dominion over the Dominion Tower back in the day, by "beating" it with an inventory of cabbages, is still the most impressive feat in my opinion.
Sure, it's technically easier than Inferno, but the video also had a killer soundtrack.
Can't wait for the random upload of Woox completing Tombs of Amascut 600 lvl invocation raid solo
The title of this video is quite relevant today, thanks woox for breaking the game
That intro is top tier
Woox is by far the best, but Zezima is the best childhood legend for this game. I remember seeing him once in game and I almost melted.
Back in my day I believe a guy named kingduff was the first 126 but zezima is old old.
@Ian Farris naw I thought he was the fist 138 when summoning dropped. Kingduffy1
@@ArneyO7 that sounds correct. I played a lot when I was young that's the last big name I remember.

@kemp it’s absence makes the heart grow fonder
When I was on twitch some time ago it was his last stream ever. Sad to see him go.

This intro was legendary.
Hearing the achievements of woox makes my so happy and I don’t know why. You can’t dislike woox he’s too awesome!
6:04 Audio was wrong, he stated, woox and born for Pvm, Born For PvM was famous content creator back in the day that also quit, he was the guy who interviewed woox.
The fact that he casually types shit in chat while doing this stuff is crazy too
At what cost?
We all love Woox, but can you do a video like this for Rendi?
the part where you say that a fan said "woox was born for pvm" was a big misread and it actually says woox and born for pvm xD
