Finally a gas guy wearing proper rubber type gloves. I know several guys over the years who got LP on themselves wearing leather and their skin came off when the glove got "wet". Ouch. Cool video!

Huh.... all I use is pipe dope and a big wrench. Rectorseal baby. FYI - Mega lock is a thread lubricant - I use for trim parts - that explains the teflon. T+2 gets her every time. Just keep a rag handy.

Gotta love the bigger sizes of that poly line. We did a job years ago with 3". Ray Murray Inc brought us a BUTT FUSION WELDER to assembly the lengths. Don't you miss the old heat fusion days? Me neither! Thank god for those Perfection stab fittings! Right Chuck?

curious what your state has for minimum depth. Saskatchewan is 15" finished grade to top of pipe minimum. under drive ways you gotta go lower. I usually go 2ft deep with same product continental stab fittings. we gotta sleeve the riser (usually abs, minimum 18" piece, 6" above grade 12" below), have a union, ball valve and cap and then the underground permit is just for only that. to hook up the risers to the gas meter is another permit. $$$

You’re right about too many tools to buy. Every professional on UA-cam uses the aluminum ones only. I rarely see Stevie use those heavy a$$ wrenches. I believe he only has the aluminum ones in all sizes. You should have purchased one 10” and one 14” one. Sometimes 2 10” wrenches is not good enough for loosening or tightening fittings ?
