How pathetic that you guys are still trying to pass of Gabi's arc as one of "redemption". She fully belongs on this list, but trying to imply she is worth any sympathy from the audience by the end is an idiotic notion. The fans don't want Gabi, they want Sasha, we all do. according to toriyama goku views his family in a similar manner he views his friends but sees chichi and his kids as roommates. Goku has no concept of romantic love. Everything romantic in that relationship is one sided. At least with Bulma and Vegeta the relationship continued to grow as Vegeta developed into a better person. He loves his family in his own way. I still think he should have been allowed to name his daughter.
Surprised the likes of Yuki Cross, the Lobellia girls, Misa Amane, and Louise la Valliere (may have misspelled her last name) weren't mentioned. The Lobellias were feminists who hated men to the Nth degree, and tried forcing Haruhi into their school because her mother was a top student there. Haruhi got into Ouran by way of a scholarship, and owed a debt to the school's Host Club after breaking an expensive vase. There just was no possibility in her transferring to Lobellia from Ouran given her current financial situation. And Louise was god awful as a protagonist. She does get a little better in Zero's Familiar F (sequel to the Zero's Familiar manga series), but I can't forget how she treated Saito and everyone else in the academy.
Misa Amane wasn’t that bad. If anything, she was more of a victim. She could definitely be annoying and had bumps in the road, but she doesn’t even compare to some of the people on this list or the lobelia girls 😭
Chizuru displayed a degree of survivalist maturity alongside the others in Ichigo's school friends during Aizen's rampage. More so since they were in a deadly situation that's well beyond their comprehension and yet she and they made it out alive. According to Kubo she's grown up considerably even accepting Ichigo and Orihime's marriage/family. Klub Outside is a gold mine.
Chi chi smacked Majin Buu(KNOWING FULL WELL HE IS STRONG AF), and gave him an earful. Buu turned her into an egg and stepped on it in front of her remaining family on earth. Didn’t even do his chocolate beam, he just retorted in kind
Whenever “annoying girls” and “Table-kun” are mentioned, I immediately think of Anna Nishikinomiya from Shimoneta. But I guess she’s more “sexual harassment case” when she awakened than annoying.
I have no idea how Misa from Death Note isn't here. Her only desire was to be Lights tool, never occurred to her that Light is something of a douchebag, messed up the balance of the cat and mouse game between him and L, had exactly zero to add on any conversation regarding morality and justice, and at the end for all her obsession and murder, the plot couldn't even be bothered to kill her off or have her leave, she was just basically forgotten about by the story. Worst part of the whole show, her entire character and how she operated played out like bad Harley Quinn fanfiction.
The sad part is she started out as a truly interesting character, with an opposing power to Light who could have been an adversary. But she just ended up being a wasted potential and eye candy

And if it was at least entertaining and not the same "gee lights great, boy I love my man" nonsense over and over, or she came to some realization over all of it to pay off the ink and time wasted on her, I wouldn't be saying any of this. As it stands I have about as much respect for Misa Amane as Jar Jar Binks or Scrappy Do. Which is to say none at all.
My personal annoying anime girl is Roka from D-Frag! Despite her social anxiety she manipulates and forces things to be her way, even betraying her first friend Takao and going out of her way to embaress her. She needs to learn not everything revolves around her.
Chi Chi is the biggest failure of a female character in every way; goes from a great character as a kid who loves the hell out of Goku and can fight on par with him at times, then her as a teen where she actually goes toe to toe with Goku and actually puts up a fight, only to be turned into the absolute worst house wife in media. She can wrangle an alien capable of destroying planets, yet she can't even provide for her family at all outside of the money she got from her father? She couldn't have continued fighting alongside Goku, providing the world with the most iconic fighting family? Nope; she had to slap on a bit of lipstick and become the biggest B of the series. Bulma didn't change when she p-whipped Vegeta, so why'd Chi Chi have to be turned into trash? Toriyama can clearly write competent female characters, but even the greatest authors can still make bad decisions.
I blame you that you did it. Ren is annoying, OK BUT she's made to be a comic relief. She's just the stereotype of a yandere... that's it. Also, she got a little of development during the second year arc, if you can re-watch it you will glad you did it.
Yamai is a breath of fresh air to me. Since the most perverted characters in AnimeManga are usually Boys... That is the reason why i enjoy and like Ren Yamai.
I know how you feel, Komi’s goal to make 100 friends would be a lot easier without the maniac ren yamai around I would have preferred if she were just a background character (how I thought of her the first time I saw her) instead of a major character. 4:40 Gwess' rap sheet included arson, attempted murder, and parole violation (meaning it was not her first time in prison) so the "revelation" that she was a cruel sadist isn't all that surprising.
Chi chi will ALWAYS be the most annoying for me. She knows Goku is anything BUT normal as a man given the fact that he saved the world several times before settling down. And now that he has a family he has to fight to protect it and his home. Chi chi believes one’s education is more important than saving the world but doesn’t think for a moment how that education would help someone if the world is destroyed. Honestly, why Goku married her is still questionable. Hell according to the dragon ball manga, goku and bulma are close to being the same age. At least she could’ve guaranteed him having an education in someway
bulma and goku getting married was one of the concepts that they almost did too. But according to Toriyama he views his family and friends in the exact same way. He has no sense of romance or romantic love.

Ren is truly the only bad thing about Komi Can't Communicate, in my opinion. Such an obnoxious and straight up hateable character. While I haven't seen most of the anime on this list, I'd say she easily deserves to be in the top 10. I don't even find Chi Chi that bad. She just wants to feel like a normal family now and then which I don't see anything wrong with.
Well. Her annoying nature is actually a plot point, as it's revealed to be a coping mechanism for her insecurities and her hauntingly tragic past. So she doesn't really count.

When the chips are down and the stakes are high, Kuroko from Railgun shows her badass side. Flawlessly devoted to protecting Academy City, she’s becomes a great heroic character when her hormones are under control and some bad guy needs their ass kicked.
As an old school Dragon Ball fan, I literally despise the female character Chi Chi. Why? She may be strong-willed and strict, but she’s also ungrateful and unapologetic at the same time. 😡
Goku has no job, Goku does not help around the house, and at this point piccolo has done more to raise Goku's kids than Goku himself. Given everything we know about the man, both yamcha and Krillin are better prospective husbands because they have jobs. And even Vegeta, who is also jobless but married to a billionaire, has made more of an effort to be in his kids lives than Goku (Bulma brings home the bacon while Vegeta Mr. Moms). Goku is good at winning fist fights for the fate of the world, and that is the only thing he is good at, everything else is just Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson style screw-ups left and right. Goku is lucky that Chichi sees anything in him at all, not the other way around.
I actually agree with you here - I find the Glasses Girl of that series a lot more annoying for accidentally tipping off Sister Crone in the first place. You literally didn't have to help look for evidence at all and she would have been doomed to die via demon anyway! At very least, Emma was willing to go for her (admittedly naive) ideals hard enough to literally ensure that all the other orphans get a happy ending at the cost of her own memories in the end. Sorry Glasses Girl, you got the happy ending Emma actually worked for and that annoys me a lot more.
I'm honestly surprised 12 year old Sakura from the first Naruto Siri didn't make it on this list. Although she is a better character in Shippuden & beyond all I ever hear is people can play about her from the first part of the series.

Not you guys putting my favorite girl in the entire Railgun/Index series at #8... she's great cheeky fun, reliable when it counts, and has good fight scenes.
Talking about Yamai, yes she did bad things and is annoying with her obsession for Komi. But except that, she's funny and every time she tries to do lewd things but at the end she stop herself to do it. It's hilarious! She got major screen time just in the first year, by the second she appear less. Also her development is kinda good with Nakanaka, their duo works perfectly as comedy relief! Watch Komi, please. The series needs more love, don't hate it because of just ONE CHARACTER!
16:01 I admit, I am a bit annoyed that they named her after one of earth’s most brilliant scientists, but her character design, voice, and personality all have given me inspiration for various characters in stories of my own, such as a Nazi mystic in a story set in WWII, and a twisted scientist whose benefactor serves the Japanese royal family, the latter of the 2 being part of a story I am writing for an anime fanfiction. I even named the character after her, except I replaced the last name with “Heisenberg”. She is much like Nina Einstein but much more sadistic and crazy. The fanfic I write is set within a version of the story of Freezing. Nina Heisenberg, in an attempt to learn more about the war abducts anyone who dwells within the genetics academies and tortures them, and interrogating them to find out more about the war.
Myne actually served one positive purpose though; all the "outrage" surrounding the character outed some truly terrible women in the real world. Julietta definitely belongs here. I totally get the idea of IBO being that happy endings don't just happen cause someone's the "good guy", but that chick didn't deserve to survive, let alone find happiness.
Aizen's rampage in Karakura really highlighted the survival instinct of Ichigo's human friends, Chizuru included. They did well for themselves especially recognizing the unusual danger that was lurking about and that something was terribly wrong.
I could agree with that, besides, how can you justify a screwed up prank like pulling a fake gun ON YOUR OWN MOTHER DEMANDING SHE HAND OVER WHAT IS ESSENTIALLY A MAGICAL WMD!? On top of that, all she had to do is explain the situation and ask for help!

I'm not surprised that Chichi is on this list but I think she is rated too high. I know everyone is annoyed with her obsession with education, but they seems to forget that she was also carrying the household and taking care of three big kids (that includes Goku). Their food bill can't be cheap and she isn't rich like Bulma. She is like the bad cop in the 'good cop and bad cop'. Plus she relaxed a bit after Goku died after Cell and trained Goten to fight.

Honestly, I stopped seeing Komi Can’t Communicate when Yamai came into being. Why is this psycho not apprehended and like shunned by Komi after what she did to Tadano? And you all stopped before the best arc, the series works on the puns. If you do something that is in contrast of the pun, the series would lose his comedy side. Yamai is bad, obsessive and crazy... and that's it! That her character, Komi search for friends and if Yamai excuse what she did, she can become just the weird friend. She appear less during year 2 and 3 and got a good development arc. If you stop to watch something just for a character... maybe you aren't that good as a person.

I hate that Umuru gets the top spot. Dont get me wrong she deserves to be on this list but, the whole premise of the anime is that she is the literal worst, but just hides it so well from everyone else but her brother. Its a comedy, and thats her whole stick so i dont think she should be 1.
My @$$ Gabi was redeemed. Her so-called "redemption" centered solely around the fact that she had no choice but to "reform" and beg the Eldians she tried to kill to save herself and her friends. Had Eren not unleashed the Rumbling, she would have happily slaughtered them all. Hell, she tried to do just that in her attempt to kill Eren just prior to him unleashing the Rumbling when it was thought that he was going to bring peace by sterilizing all Eldians. Only when she realized that Eren was going to kill everyone to save Eldia, THEN she sided with them. And Nina was never even close to redeemed either.
Hinata's inclusion on this list doesn't even make sense. From the narration, it seems the creators simply don't like her because she didn't instantly become one of Rimuru's allies. Even though she had no reason to believe anything he said.
I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say that Gwess from JoJo was not annoying, but a challenging antagonist. Gwess acted like any other JoJo foe starting off overly cocky and arrogant thinking she can overpower Joylne, but after she got the beat down of her life time, she turned her tune and actually gave JoJo some helpful advice. Kind of thought she was gonna be a JoJo bro since her stand could have been useful but oh well.

Chi Chi is the biggest failure of a female character in every way; goes from a great character as a kid who loves the hell out of Goku and can fight on par with him at times, then her as a teen where she actually goes toe to toe with Goku and actually puts up a fight, only to be turned into the absolute worst house wife in media. She can wrangle an alien capable of destroying planets, yet she can't even provide for her family at all outside of the money she got from her father? She couldn't have continued fighting alongside Goku, providing the world with the most iconic fighting family? Nope; she had to slap on a bit of lipstick and become the biggest B of the series. Bulma didn't change when she p-whipped Vegeta, so why'd Chi Chi have to be turned into trash? Toriyama can clearly write competent female characters, but even the greatest authors can still make bad decisions.

Goku has no job, Goku does not help around the house, and at this point piccolo has done more to raise Goku's kids than Goku himself. Given everything we know about the man, both yamcha and Krillin are better prospective husbands because they have jobs. And even Vegeta, who is also jobless but married to a billionaire, has made more of an effort to be in his kids lives than Goku (Bulma brings home the bacon while Vegeta Mr. Moms).
Goku is good at winning fist fights for the fate of the world, and that is the only thing he is good at, everything else is just Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson style screw-ups left and right.
Goku is lucky that Chichi sees anything in him at all, not the other way around.

I even named the character after her, except I replaced the last name with “Heisenberg”. She is much like Nina Einstein but much more sadistic and crazy. The fanfic I write is set within a version of the story of Freezing. Nina Heisenberg, in an attempt to learn more about the war abducts anyone who dwells within the genetics academies and tortures them, and interrogating them to find out more about the war.
Myne actually served one positive purpose though; all the "outrage" surrounding the character outed some truly terrible women in the real world.
Julietta definitely belongs here. I totally get the idea of IBO being that happy endings don't just happen cause someone's the "good guy", but that chick didn't deserve to survive, let alone find happiness.

And you all stopped before the best arc, the series works on the puns. If you do something that is in contrast of the pun, the series would lose his comedy side. Yamai is bad, obsessive and crazy... and that's it! That her character, Komi search for friends and if Yamai excuse what she did, she can become just the weird friend. She appear less during year 2 and 3 and got a good development arc. If you stop to watch something just for a character... maybe you aren't that good as a person.

My @$$ Gabi was redeemed. Her so-called "redemption" centered solely around the fact that she had no choice but to "reform" and beg the Eldians she tried to kill to save herself and her friends. Had Eren not unleashed the Rumbling, she would have happily slaughtered them all. Hell, she tried to do just that in her attempt to kill Eren just prior to him unleashing the Rumbling when it was thought that he was going to bring peace by sterilizing all Eldians. Only when she realized that Eren was going to kill everyone to save Eldia, THEN she sided with them. And Nina was never even close to redeemed either.
