      In the past my system was in terrible shape and ghee gave me diarrhea.
      Now that I'm doing better I might try it again. Also not taking too much potassium helps .

    I start my day with half teaspoon each of turmeric, neem, honey and coconut oil with a pinch of black pepper. I think I will substitute the ghee for the coconut oil to see what happens.

    The ghee from milk of Indian Humped Cow ( A2 ghee made using traditional method {bilona ghee} from churned curd ) is said to have the qualities described.     In another video, Sadhguru recommends to take turmeric and neem balls on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. This video recommends to eat ghee. Can I have all three things together ?

      @@kotsioskotsiou3560🙏🙏 i myself have suffered because of eating Raw food, its been 1.5yrs of hyperacidity and indigestion. My digestive fire became very bad because of raw food consumption. I reached a point where i was even vomiting water which i drank. Then i took 9monthd of Allopathic medications (rabeprazole and gasmotin) but as soon as i stop medicine,it pops up again. Then i came to Ayurveda and my condition started improving snd they prohibited me to consume raw foods, instead i had littlr steam vegetables or food cooked in a low flame with little ghee .

    namaskaram, when adhering to a strictly plant-based food regiment, animal fat is not necessary. Fat is fat no matter what form it comes in, nor is it needed for a freely moving colon. My system eliminates two to three times a day. And, my colon no longer creates polyps. 🙏🏼

      I think warm is better but it is best mixed with some rice.. rather than just having plain ghee

    Hard to get this answered from Sadhguru - but coffee is also said to have similar properties - gets the stomach cleaned. But it is coffees this very property because of which it is touted kinda evil - because it doesn't give food enough time to transfer all its nutrients to the body. In that sense how ghee differs from coffee - how it ensures enough nutrients are absorbed before the food is passed on ?

    eat balanced plant based rice lentils beans vegetable. green leafy vegetable spices and herbs.
    dont eat meat egg bread fruit juices canned foods and dont mix ghee with sugar and carbs eat in moderation

    Are you including vegetables when you mention carbs? I was planning on doing a small serving of veg, with a tsp of organic ghee mixed in.. I can not imagine simply eating a spoon of ghee... Maybe on day, but right now, I need baby steps.

      Hi, here in India we generally consume ghee with our meals like lentils, rice, curry, rotis etc. By doing that ghee is digested as a food. But taking ghee without food acts as lubricant. I'd suggest you start taking half spoon of ghee with food first. 1 spoon of pure ghee a day can be consumed healthily if the daily meal routine is healthy. I’m going to try adding ghee to my morning lemon/honey warm water as an experiment. 😊

      @@CheerfullSunny I thought of bullet proof coffee, but I don't like bitter coffee so I scrapped that idea. 😅 I bought organic ghee from grass fed cows... I might try the honey like you. Or else at dinner, I might take a bite green veg with the ghee 15 mins or so before the rest of the meal.

      A lot of spices have been a part of Ayurveda, and though chilies have been introduced to India later, they were readily accepted and found uses in modern Ayurveda

      If you have butter, you can make ghee. It's just butter that's been boiled to remove the milk solids till its golden.
