I interrupted another video to watch this one when the notification popped up 😂 I cannot used B&BW. I break out every time. I will definitely be trying this one out. Thank you Ally for providing alternatives for popular products ❤
BBW and her sister Vicky (you probably know that she has a secret) are some of THE worst items you can out on your skin that is available on the market. I love that you are doing this!
Btw is the cedarwood oil Virginia? (Especially if it smells like a cedar chest) or Atlas which is one that seems to be used more often for massages and smells less like a cedar shake or freshly cut cedar tree?
True story, just last week my 8 year old granddaughter came out of my bathroom smelling to high heaven. She had sprayed herself with the room spray thinking it was perfume. We laughed so much and she was embarrassed. I’m going to have her come and we will make some lavender body spray for her. Knowing it’s natural, she can wear as much as she wants.
Please watch citrus essential oils on the skin in the sun! Many are phototoxic. Means the sun attracted to them will make them burn on your skin! Better to spray on your clothes if you plan to go outside. Obviously it also depends on how much you put on, how often etc but this is such a great idea to make your own sprays just want to make sure people dont get burns!
Oh what fun! I will give this a try. Note, from Wikipedia .....Eau de toilette (French: [o d(ə) twalɛt], meaning "grooming water")[n 1] is a lightly scented perfume.[2] It is also referred to as aromatic waters and has a high alcohol content.[3] It is usually applied directly to the skin after bathing or shaving.
Cedarwood and frankincense, your favorite also. Benzoin resinoid ( smell like vanilla) are some of the best natural fixatives used in perfumery for centuries. I always add Cedarwood to my lavender essential oil soap to make the scent last longer, You should try Cedarwood, lavender and bergamot. I think you will like it. Thank you
I tend to sniff the products and see what I pull out of it. Many times amber, musk, thinks like that are the base with other scents added. I tend to use vanilla as a base and build off that.
lmao...Woman, do you ever sleep?? 😂😂 I woke up around 6:20am EDT and saw your vid was posted either an hour or two before. Not the first day you've done that either. 😛😛
I do! I get a solid 3 hours 😂 just kidding. I reschedule them to come out in the morning eastern time but sometimes I get too excited and post things whenever I finish them like the applesauce bread.
Ali, my fav is the Japanese Cherry Blossom. They have changed the formula and I don't care for it. Not to mention I would really like the natural version. Could you help me with coming up with what oils to use PLEASE???
Here’s the scent description cherry blossom, Asian pear, fresh mimosa petals, white jasmine and blushing sandalwood. I’m sure you could find something natural to smell like cherry and pear as well as jasmine and Sandlewood. No sure about mimosa. I’d say take a look and see what you are comfy with that has the scents of cherry and pear and use those as the main notes and the others in less amounts. I wish I had an exact answer for you.
Would you make some sprays that work for men as well. My husband doesn’t like colognes but likes the axe sprays but wants more natural ones. What are good combinations for men. Include men recipes when you do different stuff would be awesome! Love what you do!!
I have a lot of dotera, I am curious where you buy your oils? I definitely don't sell dotera. My friend buys them for me. I just spent 70 dollars on two bottles. I am definitely looking for other options.
Thank you for this recipe! I can’t wait to try it. I need to order the glycerine so I can make the body spray and the other recipe you showed us that calls for glycerine. The deodorant maybe? Also the diatomaceous earth.
Oh my goodness, i was like i wonder if she will do a video of body sprays last night as i am watching your video....an you did. 🫶 ok, now i have yet another question. Do u know if fabulous frannie has a oak scent. I already ordered the fall set through your link, but i haven't been able to find an oak scent. If not do you have a recommendation. I am so excited for this series.
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa curious though, Glycerine is a humectant which draws in moisture to the skin. Whenever water is used, you would need a preservative to prevent bacteria and mold growth.
@@lynnethievin4827 it may slow the bacteria and mold growth if it's used fairly quickly. Usually when making products that have water, a preservative is needed.
A great uplifting and brain boosting combo is lemon, lemongrass, rosemary and Peppermint. I call it pep up
Love it!
Also would love to see all 31 recipes

I love this! Okay the part about making some with her. The room spray is totally something I would have done when I was a kid 😂
Lavender can affect hormones..ie=I would not use it on a little boy.
I love when I get done with work and you have a video posted. I feel like I'm visiting with my BFF!
Love that!
Love your stove. Great attitude. Subscribed after watching 3 episodes. ❤️🇨🇦

Okie dokie, thank you so much. I am trying to create a certain scent that me and daughter absolutely love and I was kinda stuck. You are awesome😊
When looking up scent notes, the ones looked at had a zillion scents. How do you determine the main notes in order to get a similar scent?

B&BW at one time had a White Tea & Sage spray that I absolutely loved, if I can figure out how to dupe it, I'll be 😊😊
I am 99% sure I have an old hand soap in this scent tucked at the way back of my bathroom cabinet. Hmm, I’ll pull it out and try to give it a whiff.
