I wanted to say thank you for the wii u haxchi video! I just finished up installing some games and it works great! The only thing I can't get working is the wup installer channel won't show up after being "Sucessfully Installed"

Thaanks for the video. Im still having issues with Retroarch not loading things other than NES and CPS2. I'm sure it is a problem on my end or romset(s) ie zipped vs unzipped, etc. I found your videos super useful. Was able to instlal Haxchi. I'm still not understanding everything though but with time I hope I learn more. So far I believe the SD CARD in the WII U is what holds HAXCHI and any other custom software data. My card is 32 gb but I also have a 128 gb that I copied everything from 32 gb card yet it still wont work. Oh well, I'll figure it out. Just wanted to comment, hit like: I like your content. Over 2 10+ minute videos I only got annoyed once. It was when you said, "LETS FUCKIN GO!!!"at 07:24 . Anywhos, Thanks for the content. Very much enjoyed. Subscribed.
What other systems are you having trouble loading? RetroArch can read zip files so you shouldn't have to unzip anything to my knowledge Haxchi is installed on your NAND (internal memory) so the SD isn't needed anymore for THAT program. But it is needed for almost everything else The new sd you tried, did you format it to fat32? Did you get annoyed because of the swearing? Lol But yeah thanks! I appreciate it
No unfortunately they were discontinued, if you already have the app you can redownload it but the service itself is done I can't confirm this, but you can always try using the internet browser to see if you can get something working for Netflix but again I'm not sure
I just stumbled across your channel when thinking of modding my Wii and had a question I’m hoping you could answer. Ive had my Wii since launch and want to mod my Wii since the disc drive broke. I plan installing roms including Wii mods for games I already have save files for. I want to be able to continue using those save files that are already on the system when I play it through a rom on the homebrew channel, is this possible? I know next to nothing about any of this stuff and will just be following your videos second by second
Yes and no If your playing a backup Wii/Wii u game then yeah your game save should be fine If you play other emulator (SNES, NES and so on) then no not possible
@@BelowAverageGaming so if I install a Wii emulator on the SD card it’ll pull from the current save on the system, or will I have to install something else with it to make that connection happen?
There's no such thing as a wii emulator for the console. All you're doing is downloading a backup to the Wii U, that's literally all it, You make it diskless So yeah those games should work No problem because it's not running on a different system
Do you have any idea how to get thumbnails downloaded? I scanned my files and it organized them into playlists by system, but it won't let me download by playlist
I noticed in some of your more recent tutorials that you've got a shortcut for retroarch on the homescreen, how did you make it into a shortcut? Is there a way to turn any homebrew app into a shortcut?
