Well, took me several tries but finally got it! My cursor froze repeatedly and would not let me continue! But I just kept trying and finally got it! The trick was to shut down the console then speed run my way through that EULA thing. I clicked OK to go to the Wii menu but it froze. I guess it was supposed to though because it started spitting out command line debugging stuff and loaded Homebrew! Good stuff! Thanks! :-)

How do I update the software on the wii im using the 1.6 vesion of retroarch do i delete off the sd card or can I drop the update on the sd on top of old update

Very odd, but retroarch is not showing up in the Homebrew channel. I've reformatted the card, and made sure the files are in their proper place. Any suggestions? Possibly an earlier version? I'm running ios58.

This is awesome! Dont think this was around when I modded my Wii and damn it would have saved so much time!!! I spent so much time getting each emulator working hey lol Now u can just use Retroarch, dunno why it wasn't released on it earlier. Suppose Wii's not massively popular anymore though def is with me. Now to try all these arcade games that didn't work with MAME!

Can someone help with a retroarch Classic Controller issue? - I have installed several versions and while the classic controller functions on the main retroarch menu, I cannot remap the controller nor does it function when a rom is launched. If I attempt to remap, some buttons display numbers etc, others don’t seem to function at all in controller config. Alternatively, if someone has a classic controller config files and is willing to share it, that would be amazing. Several forums indicate that others are having issues, but I cannot find a clear answer, nor video about this retroarch/ user issue.

For some reason, I can't navigate RetroArch at all when I boot it. It's almost like the program either freezes or the software doesn't recognize my controller inputs. Can someone help?
I tried to boot up a arcade game and it stopped working on my 2nd USB,it used to work fine but it stopped working after I booted up a arcade game but it works fine on another USB and I booted up a arcade game and it just crashed unlike the 2nd USB I got awhile ago

I have used wii pro controller, n64 controller and the motion controller. Everyone is working great and you can edit the controls as you like through retroarch's menu.

How do you jailbreak Wii? I’ve tried many ways with the Bomb file or whatever but never gotten a letter.. like I’ve done everything
you must write correct your mac address as also to choose the right region for your console. PAL is for european consoles and NTSC for american consoles. when you done all these correct, you'll find the letter, if you don't try go back a few days and you'll find it. I had to go 3 days back to find the letterbomb.

nes, snes, sega genesis roms runs perfectly fine, but every single mame roms I tried do not work. It just kicks me back to homebrew channel.

Nicole Hall load homebrew and change it to show apps by name not date 👍🏻
doesn't work for me. black screen, can't press anything. copied multiple times on different cards, no go. i get to a menu, attempt to load content and select the corresponding core, then it ends. went back to just regular old mame for wii and it works. it's too bad, this menu is more convenient.

Look up how to the emuparadise script change, should be the first video in search, and you'll be able to use emuparadise.
Check the internet archive.
Portal roms is a website that uses torrents to get your roms. Not a huge selection but at least it's safe.
