Are u sure I think it's a good product so it went nowere shame even with the rosco man
And the Sharks were right..... the company is not doing very well, at the moment.
i like how they unleashed Kevin lol
2:37 “are you or your parents from GhAA-nAA?” 😂😂. Respect to his knowledge of the homeland customs though. Coming from a Kofi 👊🏽🇬🇭
So cringey 🤮
@@quitecontrary23 Actually it wasn’t. I was very impressed that the man is well informed about something like that.
One of the best moments in shark tank 5:31

That influencer just saw a opportunity to make money and jumped in, he doesn’t add any value to the product.
@@devmaycry4703 the grandma is the one pulling in the audience. Doesn’t add value necessary.
Wow Daniel!! Respect! People make it look as if business is always about money, but it should be about people too. The fact that you know the Ghanaian tribal tradition is amazing!!!!
Bruh bffr 1 million for 10% its crazyy
Barbara: Your coffee device looks like a back to the future "Flesh-light" and for that reason, I'm out!
Mark Cuban said in an interview that when a company comes to the tank, however much money a business is asking for, they have to get at least that much or more. By asking for 1mil instead of 100k or 500k or something more reasonable, they overpriced themselves. If they had asked for less maybe they could've gotten a deal
$50,000 for 20% would have been more appropriate. Even then, Mark was right. The product was too mechanical and needed to be iterated on.
"A million dollars" sounds great. Not realistic though. I would put it on the influencer as well. Over estimating his worth and exposure.
I think if he had ask for 100k n influencer in cup.. it would have wrkout with mark n lorry
They knew they were going to get free publicity
It's a really good idea, similar to the LunchEaze lunch box, but it needs to be actually portable, not something that plugs in to make coffee. Charge it at home or in your car and then be able to take it with you and switch it on without plugging it in.
did you see how disheartened Ross became? damnnn, he looked like he had never failed in his entire career
1:40 , kevin's face, I died LOL
"these pods are so wasteful and bad for the environment! They take thousands of years to break down!"
*wastes 1,000 plastic pods in pointless demonstration*
I think they can be reused, no? They were empty plastic containers not yet filled and sealed.
there’s no reason why those 1,000 pods can’t be used
@@rashotcake6945 are you saying they picked up those pods off the ground, cleaned them enough to load a food product into them, loaded them into a filler machine, and filled them with something? who filled them? who would go through the trouble of picking up $10 worth of plastic pods? a competing business?
@@its_lincoln_time no, we are saying they purchased the empty cups as the factories do. This isn’t rocket science 😂
@@sams9124 I see what you mean, and I'm sure you're right that they purchased the empty cups. But, a thousand unused plastic cups is a lot to throw away for a demonstration, especially while talking about how they take thousands of years to break down
How subtle he incorporated a meme @2:22
Well done sir!
He’s solely asking that because of the social media guy….. impressions doesn’t equate to sales smh 🤦🏾♂️ especially when you’ve tried to sell and your numbers don’t justify what you’re asking for
5:31 best part “Mr Wonderful” they unleashed the krakon
They were serious. They really wanted a million dollars. Hopefully, they redesign the product, charge less, increase sales and look for more investors.
hahaha Kevin's reaction at the evaluation was priceless. 🤣
1:40
Kevin O'Leary rarely gives that kind of reaction 😂
"Can I monetize your impressions?"😂😂😂😂
that "influencer" looked in dismay as all the sharks went out. welcome to the real world buddy
Lori's laugh at 1:32 is so cute ❤❤
that influencer told that poor guy what the evaluation should be and ruined that dude's chances
WHEN THE GUEST SHARK CALLED FOR MR WONDERFUL TO TEAR THEM TO SHREDS I DIED LAUGHING LOLOLOL XD
I love Shark Tank xD
to be honest, it was the influencer guy that more than likely messed it all up. He is trying his hardest to make it seem as if its his idea or design or coffee machine. he is just a brand. Kwaku needs to ditch him legally now and work on his design alone and pitch again or ask investors. white boy is the issue guaranteed
7:13 -- The face of an influencer being brought back to reality.
I fact checked this Ross Smith guy and he has:
Facebook 11M
Instagram 112K
UA-cam 2.3M
TikTok 18.1M
These add up to 30.6M not 45M, Plus, do you really consider your 14 year-old following on TikTok and Facebook as potential customers??
This guy is fake and annoying
@@devmaycry4703 Exactly lmao
I'm sure he is on more platforms that we may not know about buddy
The companies instagram only has about 3k!!!!!!!!
His grandma has her own facebook I think. I love his grandma.
He's all over Snapchat. I'm sure it covers the gap.
Modest Ghanaian guy: I gave up my life in Ghana, busted my *** cleaning toilets at 5am, saw a gap in the market and engineered this useful product.
Arrogant American guy: I make videos with my grandma and get lots of likes so that's worth 10 million dollars
This invention was already made and it's called a thermos and holds alot more coffee.
@@ChaiPopCulture and?
Lol that is not the same thing
The influencer blew it for this guy, he woulda got a deal if he went in by himself and got his evaluation more realistic.
With this evaluation they just wanted publicity
I love how they put the title (ft.ross Smith)
😂😂
everybody seemed to be worried about that 1 million for 10% equity except Mark! hahah Mark a G
The fact that someone as intelligent as mark would say the design of cup was too complicated because of “too many moving parts” is crazy to me… it’s simply learning one time how to use the cup 🤔
It's not about mark tho. And it's not about whether you can or can't learn, it's just that the design is too complicated to be marketable. Consumers want something easy to use
How portable is it if you have to plug it in?
I love how Mark always amuse by Mr. Wonderful Truth Bomb 😂
Ouch. The sharks were really rough with this one...
Apparently people haven't been given their coffee machines for months after they ordered
@D Ha, deservedly.
"they didn't invest in us"
The problem isn't that the sharks aren't invested in you. Clearly they see that it has potential. The only major turn off is that for someone to say they believe it will get to 10 million dollars but yet there is no concrete proof for that high valuation. That is a big mistake on their part. They should have sandbag it and say a much smaller valuation and work from there.
*I mean, at 50k for 10% they would have jumped at the deal.*
What in the world were they thinking?
They didn’t want a deal. Just exposure from tv.
@@TheSinimatik
If that’s the case, and they made big money then good on them, lol.
They only showed how greedy they are

Your opinion of them that they’re greedy doesn’t matter much to people who are out to make ton of money.
They get called that and much worse, lol.
