Ill just wait on 180Hz+ 32" 4k with DP 2.0. I hope for a small curvature, a glossy coating and a somewhat good backlighting. Or atleast Quantum Dot. Ah i guess i need to wait another generation for those specs.
Clarity of individually lit pixels versus the higher brightness and lower resolution of 2000 nit mini LED, 2-3k local dimming zones. An interesting battle, I agree.
Great video! The Odyssey Ark paired with a top of the line custom gaming computer (the new AMD Ryzen or NVIDIA graphics cards) is the way to go i still have a 5 year old ASUS VX228H (with built in speakers) running on the GTX 970. Would it be best to upgrade my entire system if I want to use a much larger (and vibrant ) display?
Hey Amad! Even though the GTX 970 was the go to card for price to performance ratio back in 2015, I am afraid it would struggle to run some of the more demanding titles of today. 1080p is the place to stay with the GTX 970, which is what I believe your ASus does. So yes, agreed, anything above 1080p would definitely need a system upgrade IMO.
I am thoroughly surprised with the price point! I would have thought it would’ve been more expensive. Heart = QD oled, it will not be beaten in performance. Mind= Neo G8, as there is no burn worries and will last more then 3 years. If I buy one, which would I buy? Well, if I’m about to spend £1300, it’s gotta be the best. I’ll probably change in 3 years anyway! AW QD-OLED all the way.
@@DoubleTakeTechUk I’m thinking the same way as you. I think 3 years is a good amount of time to own a monitor before the new tech starts to outshine it. And if you use it for 8 hours plus a day like I plan on using it, I think it is well worth the price
My gaming monitor is connected to my system with an HDMI cable. My monitor supports up to 144 Hz, but I am only getting 60 Hz. Will you please take the time to help me?
Thanks for the comment man! There’s a few things you can check; > is the mode on your monitor correct? Does it have a setting to enable the higher refresh rate? > What hdmi version are using and supported (cable, gpu and monitor)? > check the refresh rate settings in windows display settings > Is your gpu man enough? Hope that helps, thanks for the comment. ☺️
The best UA-cam channel to get all your tech news and reviews!
I’m excited for the Acer X32 FP. 1200 nits 32” 4K HDMI 2.1 mini led AmLED panel tech…etc
Just checked it out, very interesting panel indeed! Looks like it will be a bit more affordable as well.
Thank you so much for all the information 💁♀️ Good luck !
Love this!

I think LG is making something like that with OLED…
And ASUS.
@@DoubleTakeTechUk Alright, im looking forward to it!
Looking to see how LG will charge for their hdmi 2.1 hdr1000 monitor
Surely they have to keep it around the £500 mark given nano IPS actually feels a bit ancient compared to those other beauties. Let’s see…
OLED is incredible until you compare the HDR next to a 1000-2000 nit LED panel.

now that the qd oled panel has a price - how would you say it compares to the odyssey g8 as they are pretty much identical in price
