Wonderful gun. Always learn something new from you Dig. It’s all in the hips! Who knew. More please. These treasures deserve a new audience. What other consumer product is functioning perfectly 100 plus years on? Design, innovation and craftsmanship at its finest. Many thanks. DVB
you should look into hiring someone to film these videos for you and really do these great guns justice. It certainly made a huge difference to the TGS channel. Enjoying these small clips anyway as is!
@@headbutt67 ah I couldn't see the plugs in the video and my former US Marine father would have a fit if I ever didn't use eye protection as in his words, anything can happen on the range and eyes are hard to replace!
"What could be better than that?" Indeed.

I have a collection of old doubles, only one is a fine old British gun. I sure enjoy the interesting guns you present here, thank you.
Wish I owned one. Great ,just great guns.

Perhaps comparison with an assisted-opener would be in order.
Un talon en caoutchouc orange apparemment sur un purdey?!!!
Surely even without spring assisted opening most shotguns will self open just under gravity? Seems a bit pointless...
Not always. The point is to speed up ejection.
Love your videos! Just one thing, are my eyes deceiving me? I didn't see you using ear and eye protection when you shot! Not a good example to set.
Ear protection is in the form of little foam plugs ( I hate big muffs). I don't generally wear glasses unless targets are direct incomers.

the english cant make anything of quality. if its half good its got a ridiculous price tag. germans are way better at manufacturing.
In the world of gun making, that is utter utter bullshit
Too bad you guys gave up your guns & rights to the government.
Clearly, we didn't. I have over 200 guns and rifles.
