"The Forbidden West" was mentioned in Horizon Zero Dawn Quest "Honor The Fallen". When Aloy was Talking to Priest Guarding a Shrine. The Priest mentioned that Soldiers Loyal to the Mad King was exiled to the Forbidden West.
There’s also a secret side quest in the game where a banuk sees the future and mentions a storm is coming from the forbidden west I forget what the quest is called though. It only shows up on your compass at the top of the screen and doesn’t show on your map, somewhere in the desert.
I see some people wanted this as PS exclusive and hate that it is playable by other platform. For me, it's kinda sad, all this competition of ego, I mean, we're all gamers and I feel like we should experience this kind of masterpiece in all platform, hope all platform can enjoy horizon zero dawn 2 at the same time, it's an exceptional game!
I love the presentation and Horizon Zero dawn music is so beautiful and underrated. It fits the game perfectly Imo, not many people talk about it, but Alloy's theme is so good, I enjoyed the loading screen when you started the game because of that song
Imo the music is the weakest part of the game. And the way its implemented as well. Nothing is happening and suddenly battle music? I could listen to Skyrim ost for hours but this one never did anything for me.
After completing this game today I got the biggest chills I have ever gotten in a game. Aloy really brought out something in me. literally watching her grow and become the woman she is today after going through so much. They need to win some awards for this character! Literally one of the best people created!
I swear to god, if we tame those elephants, and the game STILL says we can't mount it, I'll be pissed. (still salty we can't ride the robot ostrich, the robot sabertooth, the robot stalker, or any of the huge dinos. Only 3 mountable robots in the entire game?!!)

@@nosarcasm1 Unfourtunately not, because the devs want to make the map and story much bigger, and they cant do that for the PS4 because of the limitations of it. In fact, the devs had bigger pans for the first game, but they scrapped a LOT of their plans because the PS4 simply couldnt handle the amount of stuff they had planned

30minsago i finished the 1st one lol....just get the ancient armor and the rest if the game is ezpz but it kinda becomes less chanllenging the fact that its hard for you to die lol in which it makes the game and everything else that surrounds you less challenging....but i think ima hop back in to do side quest on frozen lands since it looks interesting enough and ya know its an open world game so.
Dude playing on very hard mode (or what ever is the hardest mode) is so difficult, but it was a very fun challenge. I really suggest finishing it you will not regret it at all
@@breadbrothers4487 yeah i think i did at least good 50% of the game since there is a newquest everytime but honestly its fun however you look at it i was able to get my hands on some some of the best weapons and Armor and things got too ez but i might try to play it on the hardest since i did it on story mode.

I think that he will use the conversion ability he got from Aloy and use it in his favour against Aloy. Maybe he helped her destroying the Eclipse because he wanted to do the same thing they were doing, or maybe something differente but still bad. In the end of the Zero Dawn, he was holding Hades while looking at a really big machine (probably the Metal Devil). If it's hard killing a Thunderjaw, a Deathbringer or a Stormbird, imagine trying to kill that thing.

we only got Gaia prime Hades and Apollo in the first one. this means we don't know their state and looking at the corruption they probably got hit by Hades indeed but maybe they are still online in a normal state and we need to stop Hades from reaching them

I wasn’t sure about this game but I was a huge fan about Chloe price/tiny Tina/the red torch/ etc voice actor (Ashley Burch) so I said hell yess and tried the game. It was awesome
Looks amazing, hope you can ride bigger animals like thunderjaw...or if not, save your override creatures in that particular area and have them follow you when you return to that location. Like override a stormbird and have it provide air support when you're attacked

Just to compile some of the new "machines" we'll be getting, according to the trailer: 1) Sea Turtle Machine [ 1:20 ] (an upgraded and dangerous version of snapnaw I think) 2) Wild Boar Machine [ 2:35 ] (a charger/trampler like machine) 3) Chinese Dragon [ 1:57 ] (like wow, just wow. A freaking CHINESE DRAGON. But like it's a hologram so idk) 4) Pterodactyl Machine [ 2:44 ] (another version of the glinthawk/stormbird) 5) Mammoth Machine [ 3:01 ] (well, it look amazing sooo) Also, this game will probably deal with "mythical" machines, I'm guessing. As there's a myth about a turtle who has an island on it's back, like the 1 shown in the trailer, or the Chinese Dragon, or the Pterodactyl.
Looks more like a common snapping turtle, look at the jaw. Just bigger and robotic obvs I disagree it will be legendary beasts at all. Just more animals and dinos is all we see and nothing implying anything mythical aside from the hologram which was probably an old billboard or lobby she came across lol. Ill be waiting for PC release. Played HZD on both ps4 and pc and the game was unmeasurably better @ 144hz/1440p with keyboard and mouse than it was for me @ 60hz/1080p with a controller. Looking forward to it down the road.
I can't wait. I am not even a huge "gamer" anymore. But this game has me frothing at the edges of my mouth like Brin after a little too much blood of the machines! I even got a friend, that SOMEHOW had never played the first one, to buy a copy of the Complete Edition (only $9.99 guys, get a copy and replay this masterpiece!) this means we don't know their state and looking at the corruption they probably got hit by Hades indeed but maybe they are still online in a normal state and we need to stop Hades from reaching them
We also had Hephaestus with the Frozen Wilds DLC, and that one is still ticked at humans/Aloy.
Demeter is likely super involved as I think those red plants are the main problem

I wasn’t sure about this game but I was a huge fan about Chloe price/tiny Tina/the red torch/ etc voice actor (Ashley Burch) so I said hell yess and tried the game. It was awesome

Looks amazing, hope you can ride bigger animals like thunderjaw...or if not, save your override creatures in that particular area and have them follow you when you return to that location. Like override a stormbird and have it provide air support when you're attacked
That would be ace, fighting of those Stormbirds was always a challenge even with the shield Armour.

Just to compile some of the new "machines" we'll be getting, according to the trailer:
1) Sea Turtle Machine [ 1:20 ] (an upgraded and dangerous version of snapnaw I think)
2) Wild Boar Machine [ 2:35 ] (a charger/trampler like machine)
3) Chinese Dragon [ 1:57 ] (like wow, just wow. A freaking CHINESE DRAGON. But like it's a hologram so idk)
4) Pterodactyl Machine [ 2:44 ] (another version of the glinthawk/stormbird)
5) Mammoth Machine [ 3:01 ] (well, it look amazing sooo)
Also, this game will probably deal with "mythical" machines, I'm guessing. As there's a myth about a turtle who has an island on it's back, like the 1 shown in the trailer, or the Chinese Dragon, or the Pterodactyl.

I disagree it will be legendary beasts at all. Just more animals and dinos is all we see and nothing implying anything mythical aside from the hologram which was probably an old billboard or lobby she came across lol. To show off the graphics with the hologram

Ill be waiting for PC release. Played HZD on both ps4 and pc and the game was unmeasurably better @ 144hz/1440p with keyboard and mouse than it was for me @ 60hz/1080p with a controller. Looking forward to it down the road.
I can't wait. I am not even a huge "gamer" anymore. But this game has me frothing at the edges of my mouth like Brin after a little too much blood of the machines!
I even got a friend, that SOMEHOW had never played the first one, to buy a copy of the Complete Edition (only $9.99 guys, get a copy and replay this masterpiece!) Hopefully he starts playing it today so I can hear that he has become one of us HZD-obsessed people!
