    1. Fuel Injection Pump - Repair or Replace
    2. Fuel Line Replacement
    3. Rubber Mounts - Make or Buy Replacements
    4. Reserve Light - Test Float Switch- Repair wiring in tank
    The fuel pump assembly can be removed or replaced in 5 minutes.
    But some aspects of its construction are terribly annoying. This will help.

    Thanks for the video Mate. My reserve warning light not working on my 2005 gs, so i will check on the floating swich, as you showed.

    Great video! I think I'll pull my fuel pump and go through these steps in preparation for a long trip. Bike is a 2000 F650GS with 33,000 miles. I'm the 9th owner! Go figure. Anyway, thanks for a great effort and valuable information!

      well, it's easy to pull, and inspect, see what you've got. those rubber gizmos are probably toast by now. The pressure regulator/filter might be due ?

    Thanks for making this video it's a great reference. My fuel light is always on. I think the previous owner might have installed the float switch upside down when the fuel pump was rebuilt or the wiring needs attention.

      luckily it is easy to test and easy to fix.
