Ann and Nancy Wilson were groundbreaking back in the 70’s. Women in rock were rare. A band headed up by two women were even rarer. They killed it!! Super talented. Check out a live version of Nancy playing the guitar. Ann sings this song effortlessly and with grit. Heart will always leave a mark with their music. True talent.

Heart is a great band. Ann’s vocals and Nancy’s rhythm guitar and vocals are amazing but people always forget the rest of the band. Roger Fisher played amazing lead guitar (most of the solos) and was a founding member of the band along with Steve Fossen on bass. Michael Darosier was the drummer and Howard Leese played guitar, keyboards and backing vocals. I’m not trying to take anything away from the talent of the Wilson sisters I just want to point out that the other 4 members of the band were fantastic talents as well. The whole band should get the credit they deserve.
Roger Fisher is such a unique player - he never tunes his guitar the 'right' way, he tunes it to make weird, interesting chords that fit the song and make for amazing solos. It's really obvious in "Magic Man"; his B and high E strings are tuned up 3 semitones each to a G and D. He broke 7 or 8 high strings recording that song lol

The song Barracuda was written about an agent who wanted them to act like lovers even though they were sisters. They ask if he knew they were sisters and his response was well that makes it hotter. So they wrote Barracuda
Ah yes, the Dreamboat Annie album. I remember when it first came out. Recorded at a new record label called Mushroom records in Vancouver, British Columbia. This album quickly became renowned for its clarity of recording. One of my all time favourites. Nancy played the acoustic guitar and backup vocals. Anne, as always, lead vocals.
Saw this in concert when Dreamboat Annie had just come out. The audience went completely nuts when Nancy got to the end of the intro build-up and everything exploded!

Heart, a fabulous band who should have been bigger than they were. Ann's voice is top notch and her sister Nancy knows how to play her guitar with great precision.

In the 90's, Ann & Nancy Wilson recorded and performed as a duo called The Love Mongers. Their cover version of Led Zeppelin's THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE is fantastic! And they multi-tasked. Ann plays John Paul Jones' acoustic guitar part, and sings the Robert Plant lead vocal. Nancy plays Jimmy Page's mandolin part and sings Sandy Denny's co-lead/harmony vocal. And they flippin' NAIL it. * Make sure you've experienced Zeppelin's original studio version before you hear the girls do it!

Hands down, you have the most expressive face in the world! This U.S. election was a killer for me, but you've brought back some joy to me. Love you, kiddo!
More Bob Seger? 😊
Can't go wrong!@@Faloola_Festoon
What you see is what you get with❤. Ann's mesmerizing vocals.❤😊. Nancy's kickazz acoustic guitar 🎸 and backing vocals, backed by very talented musicianship ❤😂
❤ Their music never gets old.
Sylvan song/Dream of the archer, the studio version, is pure ear candy start to finish from Heart.
I'm glad you discovered Rock and Roll. Hearing these old classics again while watching you hear them for the 1st time, brings the magic back to me. I'm grateful for your UA-cam channel. "Keep on rocking in the free world!"
I’m so excited for this one !
Hey MB! Chip, 69 here! Have subscribed here for a while, and have really enjoyed your reactions. Yes, I’m one of the lucky ones that saw this music pop up every week, for most of the 60s 70s 80s! Is that crazy? You’ve got a good ear for music! Keep up the good work!👊🏻
Love your channel and your journey into some of the best music ever written.
That's her sister Nancy playing acoustic on the intro and throughout the song. Ann's on vocals.
I'm so glad I found you. You're my escape from toxic American politics. Living a nightmare, but watching you always lifts my spirits. Thanks for being you❣️
These chicks rock, but their song "Dog and Butterfly" is soft and lovely. The two sisters harmonize so beautifully.
Their best song..... Never gets old. Absolutely iconic guitar riff.
Great band..talented. Good choice! Sexy song!!
Nancy’s intro is absolutely outstanding !! 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
It's impossible for me to listen to the album version when the 1978 live performance - with Nancy's 2 & 1/2 minute intro - just kicks the song into the stratosphere.
Always love my Heart.
Nancy playing. I've seen it live. Goosebump level is off the chart.
