    Ruhi Cenet here. I'm the guest of the world's shortest person, Jyoti Amge. She lives in Nagpur, India. She's only 62.8 cm tall. Also, she has the world's smallest hands and feet.
    Jyoti, whose body size has remained almost unchanged from age 3 to age 28, has a genetic disorder called "primordial dwarfism".
    Doctors say she inherited a mutant gene from her parents. Even her teeth are big for her face. Her thin voice and tiny body compel her to live a different life in Nagpur, India from everyone else.
    Also, don't forget to watch the world's tallest man (Sultan Kosen) documentary!

      To be sincerely honest in my humble opinion without being sentimental of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view and without hiding any thoughts in my mind and without lies, to the actual truth with my clear open mind and clean heart, expressing whatever is embedded inside me for a long time which I didn’t say just because I was nervous. But today, by gathering all the courage and motivation, I just want to say that I actually feel and think that I have absolutely nothing to say.

She's been this way her whole life, so she didn't have to get accustomed to it, its just the way it is for her. Arguably, one thing she may sometimes have to get accustomed to, is the way she's treated by people. That can be rough emotionally when you're so different. From a medical standpoint, it's actually interesting how, despite her incredibly small stature and therefore relatively small brain size, she appears to be at the level of a fully developed woman with the capacity to even get her masters degree. I say this because I've seen so many nature videos that speculate on the intelligence of mammals - living or extinct - because of their cranial size.

    • @inlovewithi
      @inlovewithi 8 місяців тому +107

      It's all about brain size relative to body size. It's sometime that I've interested in for decades, seeing the different size of people. 7 foot tall people, and how it doesn't seem to affect intelligence, even if their brains are technically bigger. As well as bigger animals, such as a T-Rex.

    • @popermen694
      @popermen694 7 місяців тому +67

      It’s brain to body size. That’s what matters. The reason for it is because the bigger you are, the more information going into the brain ( like touch or heat sensors in your skin) and this takes up bandwidth for the brain.
      So the smaller your body the more available brain power for other things. But then of course your brain is smaller. So it evens out.

    Tbh I feel a bit uncomfortable with the way she is being measured and given props this whole video. We can see she is small, and she even tells her weight and height so why do you have to take out a measuring tape like she is lying.
