Won my first game by a sizeable margin. Won my second game by a hair. Lost my third game. All on easy mode. The game is swingy for sure, but it's not as unwinnable as some people say in my experience. You really have to plan carefully your turns and make strategic decisions on what to allow to go bad on the board.
Bought The LOOP just before Christmas. 3 games later I also just ordered the Fauxzilla expansion. This game is outstanding.
