      @animechansanimation 8 місяців тому +2

      Sadly watching this pains me, anyone who wants to be like Kim Jung gi is very VERY stupid. Open your eyes, he didn't get to make that, he didn't pick the cover, they put in pictures he didn't want, it's all just a bunch of work sketchs. They raped all the fun and joy from his art by the fact that in the back of his head while drawing he knows it's for work and, it's a job and, the sketchs they don't like will be ripped out, (talk about disincoragment). Kim Jung gi spent half his year traveling for work and died in France on business away from his family, and on the inside of his right middle finger he has a giant calus bump. To sum it up if you like drawing and you want to completely slaughter the fun and make it just as miserable as ever thing else you hate, them go out there and be the next Kim Jung gi.

His imagination was so free and not affected by social expectations and standards. He was so determined in his approach and seemed to be always striving to do even better. I can’t believe he’s gone. I have sacrificed more time

If you had ever met Kim, his publisher personally or held his sketchbook you’d know the eye in the back of his head is a recurring gag between them because of the frequently asked questions by fans like “how are you so good at perspective” and the sort. He frequently draws the eye on the back of his head in sketches and you can see it time and time again in the other collections.
