It's 100 pages of kangaroos
karl and jung gi will forever be my favourite artists
My single favorite sketch artist on Instagram. His art is were I want to be someday. Soo detailed, so well drawn
J P Hey man. I think you may like my art. Please check out my Fire Paintings on my channel.
He just seems like the most pleasant person to be around, really look up to him
This is so so good
Dad is that you
Papa
Naniii?
Yeah! It really is. I really want to fill up sketchbooks like he does, since he’s really efficient with his space.
It kinda reminds me of how Zalinki fills his sketchbooks. You’ve heard of him, right?
@@marinousmonk8605 haha
Me: Yeah! I finished a whole sketchbook in 5 months!
This guy: 5 sketchbooks a year.
people do sketchbooks per month or week! depends how much time you put into it. but quality sketches and practice should come first. karls sketches are very good
5 months? I take like 1 year
Also remember that he often only uses one side of a page 😋
you'll finish ~2 sketchbooks a year
well,I finished an 800 pages sketchbook in 7 months, and his are like 120 pages each (I think, not sure),so I can say I finished 6 sketchbook in less than one year, just put effort and practice in it,you will see the results, doesn't matter if the sketches aren't good, just draw.
His drawing literally comes to life I mean literally. Looks 5:01
Ohh shit
That’s just what happens after eating a taco
Those scifi armors, maaan, I just love them.
What I like about Karl Kopinski, is that he really shows us that we can and should draw what we want to draw. We don't have to be stuck drawing what we think others want us to draw. It's really inspiring.
Oh goodness, not only is Karl a marvelous artist, he has a fantastic personality! 😍
This man is a legend. His brother Stefan Kopinski is an astounding professional artist too. Far too much talent in one family!!
So true. Even his son's sketches that he taped into his book are enough to rival my art.
@@bigwijdsljla 💀
he seems so down to earth! love this sketchbook tour.
I could honestly watch this for hours. These tours are so fascinating and the art is fantastic.
It's honestly so entertaining.
It's great to see Karl Kopinski's sketchbook! Awesome source of inspiration and he is so humble as a person too
Karl's style is so appealing to me. And nothing is better than seeing an artists sketchbook. Thanks.
karl is just amazing :D
i really love the loose way he starts putting things down and goes over it to clear things up !
Love Kopinski's work, thanks for having him on.
Karl is such a wonderful artiste, i've always been amazed by his work, very inspiring
OF COURSE you interview my favorite artist showing unseen work.... this channel is a blessing, thank you Stan!
Proko, you’re the best. Bringing amazing people in broadens the understanding of how to “see.” Karl Kopinski shares a ton. THANKS 🙏🏽
The level of this artists is really amazing
Just fantastic. Such a talent. Such inspiration (Karl too! 😂) Thanks for sharing!
Karl is amazing, thank you for posting this, a true Christmas gift. I love his art, how humble he is, how excited and fascinated he gets with everything + you cant beat a good northern British accent :)
What a lovable guy. I have loved his work for some time now but I think I like it even more having spent some time listening to him talk about his work.
That man is sheer insanity and my favorite for years since ive watched his very first sketchbook showdown on youtube.... Damn, I love his stuff so much ✨
One of the best sb tours ive ever seen! Killer imagination and skill. Zombie mariachi was a stand out 💙
Also, astronauts kinda fascinate me too.
This is what I like the most; Sketchbook Tours!
Thanks Proko!
I absolutely love Karl Kopinski! Awesome artist and such a chill guy! :)
At first i thought the zombie mariachi was moving on its own and i just thought “He draws so well that his art is coming to life!”
Insane Dude!! Love his work! Thanks Proko to bring him!!
This was cool to see. Seeing what artists have in style/obsession is thought provoking and fascinating.
So imaginative! So highly skilled! Captures the motion of characters very well. Thanks for sharing this.
This is truly an amazing sketchbook, I am in awe! i especially enjoy all the details in the mechana and historic costumes.
I actually prefer the sketches to the finished coloured pieces - absolutely lovely drawings!
Thanks Proko, you always bring the goodies!
I also fill a ton of sketchbooks, it's that mine are actual sketches and his are... Well, if I made one like that with my current skill, I'd build a shrine and pray to it as my magnum opus.
No matter, I will get there and beyond. I will be the new Kim Jung Gi once he retires! TO THE SMETCHBOOK!
that's the spirit!! right there with you :)
Set out to be better than him, that's my goal at least, good luck man
I hope we meet there
same here, good luck !
Jajajaja i came here to comment the same :( my SketchBooks are just experiments and studies from books, and have just like 20 decent pieces that i've uploaded here on YT or on my IG... Anyway, i'm prouf of my first year progress.
Knowing this guy is from the same place as me and his art fills me with inspiration for some reason.
Karl Kopinski is one of those Artists I found twice.
The First Time, he was Part of GWs House Style and was one reason for me to keep drawing, and made me confident that colour is a decision, not a prerequisite of making art.
Later I found his art and was blown away...then I realised he was the Guy doing the Art that was so influential to me.
So great to see one of my great Art- Heroes here, Since Your Channel Helped me to find Back into Drawing and re-learn my basics and all that.
I think I've watched this video like 3 or 4 times, just love his stuff so much, and he seems like such a cool nice guy
I always love how humble, humorous and open kopinski is :)
Love Karl! Such a legend and seems like a good dude
One word « waow !!! ».
I love your art Karl’s, let alone the fact that, for all your talent, you are so modest and nice.
just finished sketchbook wow man. what a gift, i love karl, thanks proko..............!
Ugh, incredible lines and detail. 😭 Beautiful stuff.
Awesome! I'm really looking forward to this series.
What a treat thanks so much for making this!
What a wonderful shot of inspiration, thanks, Stan and Karl!
I especially love the name dropping (helping to build that mental reference web)
as well as an intimate peak at that beautiful fan art...
(Nothing like someone's personal take on a communally shared idea to really highlight their aesthetic personality 💜)
Thank you kindly for sharing your wonderful ideas and amazing Sketchbook journey with us
Love your art work, finishing a drawing in an hour incredible.
These interviews always make me fish out my sketchbook and feel bad for neglecting it. Such amazing work.
dude, I love him and his work... every time I see an interview with him I need to see it.
thiagots85 Hey man. I think you may like my art. Please check out my Fire Paintings on my channel.
I'm glad you got Karl Kopinski in a video. He's one of my favorite artists and a huge inspiration.
ady gombos indeed. He is amazing
YES! Karl Kopinski. FINALLY HERE!
You should definitely have him as a guest on the podcast
Thanks for this. What a great artist. And a very likeable guy!
Sam you're great man!!! Thanks for bringing Karl and also Kim
This video reminds me how much I need to practice! Exquisite work!
This is mind blowing to me. Incredibly inspiring
This video series for Christmas is my favourite thing to look forward to this December. I enjoyed this one and can’t wait for the next ones to come
Am not an artist but I love them...wish my son will be an artist
joseph thuo maybe buy some interesting art books for him. Not those guides but just collections of cool stuff from all sorts of genres. Maybe go to the museum with him or generally watch interesting movies with him. I remember quite many things that I loved at a young age be it from video games, movies, or generally things that made me feel good. That kinda exposure could become meaningful to him which might turn into something fabulous in the future. schools have this way of making things feel tiresome and dull if you let them.
every interview with Karl hypes you up to draw so much.
Eleeza Sketchbook Tour will be amazing to me!! I will be waiting Proko & Thanks for Karl's sketchbook too...
Yes definitely more Professional sketchbooks please along with the artist's narration!!
when i see karl’s work i see a hardworking and passionate but humble person :) he is a modern master in my opinion
Utterly awesome. Legend, and he's British. What's not to like. Will definitely buy that book from his website.
I really like how quirky Karl is. Plus his art is amazing.
Thank you Proko!
What an awesome dude! His skill is incredible!
THIS is Christmas, thank you so much! Off the top of my head, bringing James Jean into the studio would be really cool. And Eliza Ivanovna!
I loved this so much! He's such a creative person! The mariachi zombie was awesome. I want to also see Steve Huston back again! Do a sketchbook tour with him
Those are mere sketches yet for many of us that is already very challenging to draw. Amazing!
Beautiful!
Not sure who exactly but I enjoy all those great artists’ sketchbook tour. Any artist that draws figure (mainly non-manga style) is fine by me. Once again thank you for the great video.
Amazing video as usual. Mr Kopinski is in my top 3 artist. If you can, I think you should do a video with the Canadian artist David Finch. He does high contrast pencil art, with one of the most unique cross-hatching/rendering style I've ever witnessed. His use of heavy shadowed areas including cast shadows, gives his art real depth. His unique way of cross-hatching and use of negative space, sets him apart from his peers.
Lots of sketchbook tours on YT but only a few are really inspiring such as this one.
Kopinski is one of my art heroes ❤
This is really rad, thanks!
Can't wait to see his next book .
I hope we get to see more of 'Karl Kopinski' his work is amazing and inspiring. I also would love to see 'Simon Stalenhag' on proko, even through he mainly does digital work, i would still love to see him get interviewed or anything, cause his work it amazing
So awesome Stan! Is so cool to see you come this far, is like watching a friend thrive! I would love to see James Harren here, my favourite american comic artist ( kim jung gi's aswell) he rarely appears on video, and having him explaining or just talking would be nuts!!!
I love his Magic: The Gathering arts! He's amazing!
Paulo Pilotto Hey man. I think you may like my art. Please check out my Fire Paintings on my channel.
5:00 I like this sketch. The values are on point 👌🏽
It's just so alive, brings a tear to my eye really. Wish i could just draw what i thought about.
Very informative. Love your art style!
amazing content again, thank you!
YES! I love those videos so much love to hear form a variety for amazing artists. Bring Peter Han please he's art is also amazing..
That guy is really amazing
I love Karl such a great artist and sense of humor, I love sketchbooks I spend so much time in mine especially since I can take it and draw up a quick sketch on my 15 minute breaks at work p
GREAT organic lines. That Mexican guitarist, WOW!
Nice! Looking forward to seeing more artists who use an intuitive style... And their process and approach. Also would love to see the meditation side of things.. Like the Zen Shodo approach
This dude is now one of my top fav artists
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Sketches - good. Watercolours - STUNNING.
Fantastic stuff!
Love this! Would love to see the Amazing 'Brett bean' doing one of these sketchbook videos!
I love the sketchbook tours. My recommendations for an artist sketchbook tour is Phillip Tan, Sanford Greene, or even Marshall Vandruff
SwordzOfTheVoid thanks for the recommendations
Excellent content. Inspiring stuff!!
Oh man his art is always so amazing to see. Resisting picking up a copy of that Big Kopinski book is hard enough, after that flipthrough it is basically impossible. Also man to be a fly on the wall when he's hanging out with Terada...
Karl is awesome!!
