Im not religious but i believe a lot of the point of some of these things is the beads or rings help when you want to repeat a prayer say 30 times , so you recite the prayer and use the beads to keep count , this was pretty common for regular people of my grandparents age if they were religious which most were back then the idea for Pokémon cards for saints is great rofl shiny mother teresa i choose you

Yes many people do wear Rosary’s but I think that became some kind of urban style, it’s incorrect and some may even find it offensive. I guess you can do whatever you like but most people bring them to church and wrap then around their hands when they pray, or hang then somewhere in your home like you would a Crucifix or display a Bible . Side note: as a kid going to church with my mom I put my rosary beads around my neck and got yelled at lol.
Idk why you would get yelled at. There are kids who sometimes wear roseries around their neck, and no one really cares. And it's a traditionalist very conservative church

A rosary is for counting your prayers. After confession you may be told to pray X amount of Our Father prayers and X amount of Hail Marys, and the rosary helps keep track.
Anyways “roshary” is a somewhat common pronunciation. I hear roe-za-ree and roe-shja-ree all the time. I highly doubt you’re more aware of correct pronunciation of a catholic prayer practice than an actual practicing devout catholic. Humble yourself atheist.

Jesus never condemned the idea of free trade or buying/selling goods. Context is important. Secondly, yes, he did indeed say that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven... what about it? Nothing about this verse implies that Jesus was against free trade. His point was that if you are a rich man and you horde lots of wealth instead of giving to the poor, that you are less likely to get into heaven. I’ll lecture you too. Dead give away that someone doesn’t actually pray the rosary is that they mistake it for a necklace. The Rosary was traditionally worn at your side, on your belt, like a sword. It’s classically a Dominican practice and the mendicant friars of that order wear them on their left side where a sword would otherwise be. Yes, some people wear rosaries as a necklace…..like Mexican gang bangers and Madonna, but none of those people are wearing the rosary properly. And you pray it, it’s held in the hands. The tradition is that each rosary represents a crown of roses placed upon the head of Mary. So if anything it’s a crown, and it’s only worn by one woman….not necklace. Lecture ended. Keep calm 😝

I’ll lecture you too. Dead give away that someone doesn’t actually pray the rosary is that they mistake it for a necklace. The Rosary was traditionally worn at your side, on your belt, like a sword. It’s classically a Dominican practice and the mendicant friars of that order wear them on their left side where a sword would otherwise be.
Yes, some people wear rosaries as a necklace…..like Mexican gang bangers and Madonna, but none of those people are wearing the rosary properly. And you pray it, it’s held in the hands. The tradition is that each rosary represents a crown of roses placed upon the head of Mary. So if anything it’s a crown, and it’s only worn by one woman….not necklace.
