She refers to a $140 sari (10,000 rupees) as being VERY expensive, so newspaper is the economical solution. It's also a rather durable paper blend, so it won't tear easily at all thanks to the decorations, either, unlike tissue paper. Something to protect the fabric from the ink, though, as an interstitial layer, or somehow removing that excess ink that transfers from the print so easily, would be a good idea.
@Talari Anderson A problem in a humid environment - which is the reason stated for using the newspaper (like a wicking mechanism) in the first place. This is Not a safe idea long-term for fine fabrics, especially cotton or silk. Many textiles have finishes with ingredients that can react and catalyze the leaching of inks and/or dyes, especially those that are difficult to permanently set - like most all shades of red and crimson.

Exactly! Glad I'm not the only one that knows this.
@Talari Anderson Take some modelling clay (which is dry), press it into newsprint, pull it away. Ink comes away with it.
Was thinking the same about newspaper ink! White butchers paper would be good as it’s thicker, no ink.
I really relaxed with her talking...loved this...the bracelets...ahhhh so soothing
Thank you for sharing this relaxing video! 💕
this lovely lady has an asmr channel now as well called Bangle Whisper 💞
her other channel is home & garden and fashion!
I totally love this woman's voice 🥰
i love how it looks, so pretty!!
I still remember my pediatrician because she was an Indian Woman and she spoke like this. The way she asked me to breathe in and out when she was using the stethoscope to listen to my vitals almost put me to sleep.
thanks for linking the original videos so i can support her channel!
Not newspaper!!! Use white tissue paper. Newspaper has chemicals and impurities that could damage the sari. The printing ink can transfer.
Omg this is really amazing. My fave so far!
*”I might eat your family”*
If you turn on subtitles this becomes horror ASMR 😱
One of my favorites! Thanks for finding and sharing.
Now my white ass is over here day dreaming about beautiful Saris. Loved this.
This is cool. Super informative for something I know nothing about
To remember what is wrapped in paper, you could also tape a photo of the garment to it, instead of writing a description.
I was looking for an Indian ASMR voice, I love this video thank you for sharing
The beautiful tinkling sounds of her bangles gives me life.
Not the point of this lovely video, but just in case anyone is curious, 10,000 rupee is about $140 or 125€. Beautiful sari and a fantastically soothing voice!
I was wondering about the American $ equivalency. Thanks
Something about the Indian Accent got me sent.
I could listen all day.
What a lovely video, her voice, hands, jewelry and her beautiful work, thank you!!
Do you just go through UA-cam trying to find good videos? Like how long does it usually take to find a video you think is good for asmr?
Daniel Berganza good question was wondering that also
at this point I think people send in videos they think are good unintentional asmr, however I'd assume other than that it's just a lot of searching and going down UA-cam rabbit holes.
Look up Yanghaiying if you want similar to this
Peter draws has some good unintentional asmr
I seem to only respond to unintentional ASMR these days which is a bummer but whenever I need a fix I just look up "Kardashian ASMR" and that never fails me. Those women are nearly intolerable but their voices in their Snapchat/insta stories always gets me... Maybe that'll do it for you too 🤷
This video always helps me with anxiety attacks and the stomachaches that come with it somehow lol ❤️
