This character is my favorite of yours so far! She is sassy, confident, smart, and also motherly. I used to work in an English style tea room which also served a full menu daily. Wow. My favorite trigger of hers is when she carefully fingers through and counts objects while whispering unintelligibly. How fun she included this with my apple slices😆
I like the detail that she didn't use perfect apples from the grocery store but ones that honestly looked to be plucked from an apple tree on the farm.

I have a special needs son who's favorite movie scene of all time is from Disney's Sleeping Beauty, when the fairy godmothers are in the secluded cabin, making a birthday cake for Aurora. He watches that 5 minute clip over and over and over, but now.. since he has found this.. there is something new playing in the background of my home and I have never seen my son is so immersed! making a dough is annoying at first, the dough sticking to your hand, but with practice you'll see that to make a good dough the flour and water have to be equal, and you achieve this by adding a bit of water at first, kneading, then add a bit of water then knead... keep repeating until the dough has the texture in the video, when its a ball you press on it with your finger and it should bounce back. The hardest thing in the video is finding the decor and old itensils and that dress. Also, the acting here is flawless. I love her so much, shes so talented
She is on location. Probably through an historical society or similar and agrees to make a video they can use for people attending. Just a guess, but could be.
i've never seen a mortar and pestle used like that, but i think it's the most satisfying way i've seen it used ever. just the loud cracking and crackling of the spices, it's so tingly!

Wow! ASMR is getting really elaborate. Look at this set! I loved this video. I was playing it while I was knitting and I am super relaxed. I also love this period where you had to heat and cook with a fire and times were simpler, slower, and with no technology. This is actually one of the reasons why I love to knit/crochet and also one of the reasons why I started my woodworking/candle/home decor business. Wood furniture, candles, they both take me back to simpler times like this.
It’s incredible how she managed not only creating a wonderful ASMR experience but also a delicious-looking pie without a modern kitchen. My respect and admiration for her gets higher with every new video.❤
In just over thirty minutes I was transported to a 17th century cottage, recieved a wonderful asmr experience and learned how to bake an apple pie. Fantastic! 10/10!

Just done watching it and i feel so relaxed as well as intimidated by your skill on everything being shown particularly for your delicate and calm demeanor which make the whole ambience more welcoming, i sure appreciate on how great of an effort you put for every video you've released especially this, not only it's an ASMR but also a wonderful learning experience to get an insight on the recipe and how things worked in the kitchen back in that age, the presentation is just exquisite, it feels so dreamy. Your English is amazing, some advice; usually you would say ‘doesn’t have to’ rather than ‘don’t have to’ just because it’s more grammatically correct, however, I’m British and sometimes we say ‘she don’t have to’ instead of ‘doesn’t’ and it’s sort of a slang for us/easier way of saying it? I hope that made sense. Your English is amazing lol it just made you sound really British ahah 🥰

diane, i don’t know if this is what you were going for but this character reminds me of mrs Patmore on downton abbey, with us the viewer as Daisy and i love it! her sass, no nonsense attitude. she’s very proud of herself (and as she should be!) it feels comforting, like learning from your mother a recipe that’s been passed down generations.
This reminds me of Mrs. Crocombe from the YT channel English Heritage 😊 That’s in the Victorian days though, but that doesn’t really matter, because there’s never a bad time for learning how to make the best apple pie the world have ever seen 🥧

I used to think that the background is one single room you re-decorate meticulously for each video, but then you created "the shelter" (one of my all time favorites), which had a beach, and a flying space ship, and now, a video with live fire and a hearth! How about the shelves on the wand shop video? Or the amazing atmosphere of the most watched Ball-centered videos? Or the Quiet Evening? I can't keep up with how on earth you conjure all of this up, alone, where even movies with millions in budget fail. It has to be magic. There is no other way. What you do is nothing short of miraculous. And on top of it all, we can watch for free...? I have been looking forward to this ever since you first hinted at it, at the very end of your intro compilation video, and I could not be more delighted with the results! I am someone who actually watches ordinary cooking shows for the ASMR, so you can imagine just how off-the-charts my ASMR is for this masterpiece! Everything about it is perfection: the incredibly gorgeous kitchen set appointed with every imaginable pot, bowl, scoop, knife, etc. Not to mention a glorious roaring fire and a roomful of beautiful fresh foods! All of the incredible sounds and visuals of prepping and baking are so wonderfully tingly. The sounds of the crackling fire and the bubbling and simmering pots are particularly cozy and wholesome. And I felt truly humbled and honored and a little bit frightened to be the new kitchen hand for this formidable baker! I love this character so much! i mean, you tend to do that when cooking just about anything, right?
making a dough is annoying at first, the dough sticking to your hand, but with practice you'll see that to make a good dough the flour and water have to be equal, and you achieve this by adding a bit of water at first, kneading, then add a bit of water then knead... keep repeating until the dough has the texture in the video, when its a ball you press on it with your finger and it should bounce back. The hardest thing in the video is finding the decor and old itensils and that dress. Also, the acting here is flawless. I love her so much, shes so talented
I would LOVE to see a behind the scenes for this one!!! Where on earth do you find the sets, the props, the costumes!!!!!
She is on location. Probably through an historical society or similar and agrees to make a video they can use for people attending. Just a guess, but could be.
i've never seen a mortar and pestle used like that, but i think it's the most satisfying way i've seen it used ever. just the loud cracking and crackling of the spices, it's so tingly!

I loved this video. I was playing it while I was knitting and I am super relaxed. I also love this period where you had to heat and cook with a fire and times were simpler, slower, and with no technology. This is actually one of the reasons why I love to knit/crochet and also one of the reasons why I started my woodworking/candle/home decor business. Wood furniture, candles, they both take me back to simpler times like this.
Cooking videos like this is really relaxing defo recommend you do it again

In just over thirty minutes I was transported to a 17th century cottage, recieved a wonderful asmr experience and learned how to bake an apple pie. Fantastic! 10/10!
While these videos are certainly relaxing, I cannot fall asleep to them. The storylines and the sass are just too good to miss any of it! And also the production quality is just fabulous.

Just done watching it and i feel so relaxed as well as intimidated by your skill on everything being shown particularly for your delicate and calm demeanor which make the whole ambience more welcoming, i sure appreciate on how great of an effort you put for every video you've released especially this, not only it's an ASMR but also a wonderful learning experience to get an insight on the recipe and how things worked in the kitchen back in that age, the presentation is just exquisite, it feels so dreamy. Your English is amazing, some advice; usually you would say ‘doesn’t have to’ rather than ‘don’t have to’ just because it’s more grammatically correct, however, I’m British and sometimes we say ‘she don’t have to’ instead of ‘doesn’t’ and it’s sort of a slang for us/easier way of saying it? I hope that made sense. Your English is amazing lol it just made you sound really British ahah 🥰

diane, i don’t know if this is what you were going for but this character reminds me of mrs Patmore on downton abbey, with us the viewer as Daisy and i love it! her sass, no nonsense attitude. she’s very proud of herself (and as she should be!) it feels comforting, like learning from your mother a recipe that’s been passed down generations.

I used to think that the background is one single room you re-decorate meticulously for each video, but then you created "the shelter" (one of my all time favorites), which had a beach, and a flying space ship, and now, a video with live fire and a hearth! How about the shelves on the wand shop video? Or the amazing atmosphere of the most watched Ball-centered videos? Or the Quiet Evening? I can't keep up with how on earth you conjure all of this up, alone, where even movies with millions in budget fail.
It has to be magic. There is no other way. What you do is nothing short of miraculous.
And on top of it all, we can watch for free...? We get to enjoy your art, your character designs, the plots, the atmosphere, the sounds and the lore, all for free?

I have been looking forward to this ever since you first hinted at it, at the very end of your intro compilation video, and I could not be more delighted with the results! I am someone who actually watches ordinary cooking shows for the ASMR, so you can imagine just how off-the-charts my ASMR is for this masterpiece! Everything about it is perfection: the incredibly gorgeous kitchen set appointed with every imaginable pot, bowl, scoop, knife, etc. Not to mention a glorious roaring fire and a roomful of beautiful fresh foods! All of the incredible sounds and visuals of prepping and baking are so wonderfully tingly. The sounds of the crackling fire and the bubbling and simmering pots are particularly cozy and wholesome. And I felt truly humbled and honored and a little bit frightened to be the new kitchen hand for this formidable baker! I love this character so much! Her humor, sassiness and confidence are contagious! And I love the way you reveal more about her softer side as the video progresses. PS This video is such a feast for both the eyes and the ears. I have watched it many times and taken in all of the glorious visuals. But I have now set down my phone and just listened to it several times. These sounds from the kitchen are so comforting and cozy and wholesome.
