    Like the new Mokka, the new Grandland is a great looking, well spec'd, good value small SUV with a surprising amount of room. All car prices have increased over the last 18 months or so, but Vauxhall seems to be trying their best to keep their prices reasonable. Today's Vauxhall make cars for the average person, and based on this, the Mokka, and the new Astra, they're doing a damn good job. Great review.

    Ive had 2 Grandlands now, an SE and now an Elite Nav. As far as im concerned they're great cars. Roomy, well built, good performance, good fuel economy, plenty of kit (especially the Elite Nav). I'm planning on getting a 3rd, probably a hybrid.

      Absolutely, we love ours too. Very comfortable and the 8 speed automatic 1.5 diesel is brilliant. I think Grandland is very underrated SUV due to Qashqai pretty much ruled the segment.

      Do you guys face any wet belt issues? I recently got 2020 grandland x and after a week it shows top up engine oil and people told it can be a wet belt issues. Took to showroom and they said oil was less not wet belt issues Thank god. How often we have to care this wet belt? Any idea? Any advice please

      I have a Mokka ultimate nav and want to swap it for a grandland as I have a new baby and the car seat just about fits in the back with the front passenger sat very uncomfortable. Is the grandland roomier in the back than the Mokka?

    Once again a very professional review Tish, well done! I like the new look of the car and it seems very well equipped for the money. Engine choice as you say may be limited for some but as I tend to drive in traffic quite a lot it wouldn't bother me too much but a test drive would reveal and concerns.

      I did the same I ordered mine in red as at the time he didn't have the blue to show me I'm glad I picked the red looks very nice, but the cobolt blue I think I would have picked if I had seen it. Mine was soposed to be delivered last October but I'm getting mine this month due to manufacturing delays that the industry is seeing on the chips used in the cars

    • @oilbeefhooked351
      @oilbeefhooked351 Рік тому +1

      @Nova yeah i saw the red one in the showroom, and test drove the blue one. I ordered mine on April 22. I got an email last week informing me that the car will be ready near the end of July 23. Apparently, the delay is down to the Ukraine war. There is a certain type of cables and wires manufactured there. Anyway, I was worried the car would be out of date if I had to wait any longer, but it's impacted all car manufacturers. Did you get some more money off from mobility? They gave me £750 and I used it for the deposit, which is down to £995 now.

    Cornering and handling is subjective of course, but I am always amazed at how Vauxhall/Opel get hammered for this while VW and others are always fantastic - Well, numbers don't lie if you look at the 2018 Grandland moose test for example, the Opel is equaled only by the Q5 and Peugeot 3008 ...There is nothing wrong or un-fun about the grandland's handling capability: ua-cam.com/video/leDJSuHXJTY/v-deo.html

    Forty grand for that?! Hey, don't get me wrong. I learned to drive in an Astra and have a soft spot for Vauxhall, but for what this is, it's really rather too much. Or maybe it's my perception of Vauxhall as a brand that's making me biased against it.
    Would much rather go for an Audi Q2 or a Lexus SUV (I can't remember their lineup, is it an NX that competes with this)? They are two very different crossovers, one sporty and the other comfortable, but unless I'm very much mistaken I can't help feeling the Q2 and NX offer so much more character.
