#QuantumofSolace #JamesBond #007
I might have noticed why people hate this movie because of so many cut editings (like that Siena chase scene and this scene for example) but honestly this film is underrated and I like it imo.
quantum was a great organisation :)
I replayed this specific video more than 100 times now. This is so classic. None of that fancy hi tech lasers and gun mounted sports cars. Just a spy with a mission. Equipped with a gun, a phone, and plane tickets... The basics. As well as a good story. This movie is great. I watched it with my dad as a kid, and I remember covering his and my eyes during the somewhat sexual scenes. I don't remember much else. These days, I complete understand the story... Something that a lot of people take for granted. A lot of them always criticize the editing. Just focus on this amazing plot.
Edit: I really love the opera though. That score is... It gives me the greatest joy in life listening to the music and singing on repeat. I don't know much about opera, but I at least appreciate it considering how expensive it must've been to even add filming that entire specific set into the movie.
and tosca the opera so good
2:40-2:57 Mr. White really knows how to play bad guy better than the rest of these suckers. No wonder why Blofeld chose him to be his right-hand man before Largo.
He is just as clever and calculating as the Three Blind Mice from Dr. No, Oddjob from Goldfinger, May Day from A View to Kill, Alec Trevelyan from Goldeneye, and Renard from The World is Not Enough
Mr. White regarding the other Quantum operatives ditching the opera: dumbahh mofucuh
I keep hearing people say that quantum of solace was horrible.
Then I see the likes, the view count, the DVDs sold on shelves and I wonder why those people feel the need to say that.
Is it because of all the bond films this is the closest to reality one there is? A mai villain who is obviously symbolic of real-life egregious monsters, side-villains who are painfully typical of real life villains, Bond for once having almost no gadgets, no gadgetized car, no Q, no Moneypenny, no comedy, no torture scenes, no gimmicky villains, for once the CIA and the British government are bad guys, a bond girl dies, the villains for once decide to just shoot Bond on sight when out of public view... honestly Quantum of Solace is by far the most close to real life James Bond movie.
Which is not what is loved about him..
@egotisticalbastrd Me too. But those people who have poured a lot of time and energy into trying to convince me that it sucked, are petulant. They are throwing temper tantrums because they didn't get what specifically they wanted while others did.
Ignore them. People will look back on this eventually and see how good it was. Same with the Halo franchise. When Halo Reach came out, I loved it but it was seen a pointless entry to the series that drifted too far away.. now people love it
The reason I love it so much is because of all the reasons you listed. I love grounded films and that’s why I love QoS so much, it’s because it’s not a typical bond. It makes bold decisions in writing and it payed off for me.
It’s no where near as good as sky fall and casino royale. It’s better than spectre though
@@Bluegreen123 Well that is opinion isn't it?
I love how he tosses away the door handle after breaking it off and later he tosses away the earpiece.
DC does that in every Bond film - he just tosses away equipment, weapons, and objects. Interesting and kinda charming acting choice from DC.
i love how the elders are used to bond crashing the party so they all know not to move hahaha
The henchman who tells Bond to 'piss off' was also in the World is Not Enough in the submarine and Brosnan banged his head into the control panel.
That was an undercober agent from secret service that bond killed tho
I just now noticed that before Bond was able to get a strong signal to listen in, you can hear someone mention Canadian Intelligence but not much else. At the end of the movie, Bond confronts Vesper’s boyfriend who is working to compromise a woman who works for Canadian Intelligence.
Nice detail. At 1:19
The way (the attitude) Daniel Craig throws things away 🤣🤣🤣.. the door handle
The rapid editing absolutely ruined this film. The plot was never the strongest, but the constant quick cuts made it impossible to watch. Luckily, they rectified it in time for Skyfall. Shame, because QOS had promise.
They legit went Taken 3 before Taken 3 was even made. It's THAT incomprehensible. But I'm far more pissed off at the fact that they clearly made this film with the intention to be a Bourne rip-off.
@@PlanetXerox Nahhh that was Casino Royale, that was pure shit. Quantum of Solace had more Bondness in it. Easily.
@@Firemarioflower It was cited as one of the worst 007 films period.
Especially Mr. White
honestly I enjoyed this film a lot. It's a LOT better than spectre and no time to die in my opinion
Excellent idea, great scene - and a very good, underrated Bond movie.
Underrated one. Yes indeed.
Not underrated, this was the stepping stone towards making No time to die an epic Craig finale.
My biggest problem with it is the cuts its hard to see what happens
My favourite part of the movie.
“Well, Tosca isn’t for everybody.” What a line! 😂
it is true
In this case the cuts add to the abruptness and confusion of the scene. I like it
I love how He Just simply Rips Off the door handle Like he's T-800 😄
It's made of unbreakable stainless Chinese steel.
Those handles are usually aluminum, quite weak on the edges, if you yank them they'll probably twist and bend
Those hand have a lot of practice
Arnold Schwarzenegger 🎉
"Is he one of ours?"
"No"
"Then he shouldn't be looking at me"
I'll miss you BOND. You taught me at a young age and now you're gone. May our future be better than what it seems.
This scene IS A MASTERPIECE
@Orion oks
2:21 Genius move, standing up and leaving so you just let Bond know exactly who you are.
From 3:29 to 3:36 was a great shot of bond and the bad guys
I am not sure but I found this scene very smooth @00:32
Mission Impossible took note of this scene and made it in great way in the first appearance of Rebecca Ferguson!!!!
There is a good film hiding in Quantum of Solace somewhere. This whole opera scene is Exhibit A.
James Bond is, like Lucky Luke and Odysseos, the myth of one man able to win against the group. It is what we all would like to be true.
This is a real performance of Tosca which is available on DVD.
Not one of the beat Bond films but this is definitely one of the best Bond scenes.

-bond: ohhhhh helllooooo mr green long time nooo seee
- mr green: 👀👀👁️👁️👀😠😠😡
Underrated 007 movie
No... Among the worst actually.
@@vitocorleone8437 well that's why I say it's underrated
@@vitocorleone8437 No. You're confused with Casino Royale
I think the Craig’s got progressively worse with each title. Although I might change my mind about NTTD being worse than Spectre, which will probably be soon, but until then
@@maxfieldnuckels9075 Skyfall was generally well received critically and commercially.
4:21 007: "So you do you work for?"
Me: "Wrong person, wrong question."
i work for guy haines
good
man fail of the roof
What an awesome background score in the beginning.
"Can I offer an opinion....
I really think you people should find a better place to meet."
everbody leave the tosca STUPPID
They missed the trick not having madeleine Swann sitting next to mr white. It would have blew my mind
How I wish I could go back to 2008
So glad this style of editing isn't on trend anymore 😬
"Lovely bit of opera, Jackie!"
Shalom
tosca not for everone
Greatest Bond sequence ever!

ELVIS: Ahhhh, **Turning his head** I love opera! Doesn't it sound beautiful?
GRUMPY FACE: Stfu! I'd rather be shooting someone right now!
ELVIS: I'll take that as a no. **Turning his head back** (What's this guy's problem?)
me ALSO
On the next episode of Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen, special guest 007 makes an appearance.
fight in kitchen
This movie deserves a new cut without the epileptic editing
Just that bit where he walks out like a boss and then stares down the enemy
3:28 When your in public and you encounter someone you know
Obviously He knows it
Never understood why they shot the guy who fell off the roof. He was one of them who went to chase Bond, like why would he even be going after Bond if he wasn't with the bad guys.
was the bodygard of guy haines out a delete scene
I like this film a lot but the frentic editing makes it very hard to re-watch. The cutting back and forth between the play (and earlier the bull race) is jarring and not necessary.
tosa is a great opera
0:11 Good thing that earpiece didn't fall into the drain...
What Line said by James Bond,???
Can anyone tell me
Lovely bit of squirrel
Send him to the infirmary
People call this a terrible film but imo
I've seen worse much worse
Quantum is fine
is a maffia movie
This wouldn't have been a terrible first entry for Daniel Craig but because it came after Casino Royale (highest rated Bond film on IMDB) it looks positively ordinary with phoned in performances. Can't tell you how many times I've watched Casino Royale. This one? Just twice.
tosca not for everone
I'm sure the henchman near the end was on EastEnders when the Mitchell Brothers drove into the Thames.
Quantum of Solace Wasn’t perfect. But I wouldn’t go far and say it is the worst Bond film. It has a lot of great moments including the scene set in Bergenz, Austria.
Quantum of solace is one of my favorite bonds. Clearly superior than Spectre or No time to die.
@@oliviers9925😁😁😁
Elvis face 😂😂
i dont like opera
Lovely movie...
Was Musik ausmacht 😊
Always loved this scene.♥️
It's Enrico Palazzo!
i actually appreciate Quantum of Solace. It's the closest a Bond film can get to an arthouse film aesthetic..
Can only remember watching this movie once so forgive me for asking, but what's the deal with the guy Bond threw off the building? If he's not with Quantum then who is he with?
Hi, a bit late but I hope I can answer your question, Bond throws the British prime minister's bodyguard (Guy Haines) off the building by thinking he's part of Quantum but later in the movie M tells Bond he isn't.
@@danielguevara480 the person not (bodygard)
gug haines is working for White and a quantum person he is sitting in this scene
Are door handles that easy to break?
I'm a big fan of Greene. I think he was the last good Bond villain
I know everyone rags on Quantum’s editing… and they should. This has to be one of the most incomprehensibly cut movies ever made.
I love 007 im from morocoo🇲🇦 thank you channel
Who cares where u from?
I care
Why do they agree to the money first and then start debating whether it's a good idea? Makes no sense
I love Daniel Craig bond movie clips
Who is the guy who fell off the roof. I've seen him a lot in films and tv shows.
The WORST FLASH EDITING in movie history. The editing destroyed the whole film
Among other things
Is it that easy to break door handle?
Whats song at 3:43 ?
Really good quality in this movie but one thing about it all the villains that he felt led to Spectre💞💞💞🔥🔥🔥
Mission impossible copied this scene and made sniper scene addition
Can anyone explain, what line said by Bond ???
Can I offer an opinion???
What is the name of this song ?
good old elvis
What a douchey, pretentious thing to do, to hold a meeting at an opera. Just because you have the money to burn.
Disrespect to the art as well as stupid (all your names get registered on a list at the same time, providing another data point for intel analysts to find patterns with).
Why did that woman kill the opera singer?
tosca not for everone
i just don t like the bad editing

My favorite level in the game tho a bit different

Hi
Mission impossible Rogue nation has a better opera scene imo.
And a higher budget.
@@flagflow1232 Budget aside, its the pace, editing and story flow that win.

So much BS in this movie: the script, the tech, the cinematography, and the editing
2:09 bhailog isne haath mai kalava bandha hai kya?
Jai Shri Ram🧡
They should send 3 bodyguards in the stairs instead of 1 to take down at Bond...
