A theme of my book Autumn Queen Protocol: “Always surviving. Never thriving.” I, for one, am sick of perpetual survival mode. No matter how much Boomers browbeat us about it. (And learn to read econometric graphs.) I also forgot to mention that despite being much more strict about my teeth in recent years and having dental insurance, I'm getting my third root canal / crown in two years. I'm paying over $7,000 this year just on my teeth. Yay late stage capitalism.

In other words, ostracizing and "other"-izing is patently counterproductive. Connection and valuing who they are *already* are critical.

Anything people say to try and help just demonstrates how little they understand the situation and it makes me feel even more alone. When I'm depressed, I just need time. There is no way other people can help, I just need time to process it, that's it.

With that in mind, compare this video to the commenters. And hey, three of which are positive and/or thoughtful. The other two . . . whew. It sounds like their message is, "Naw, fuck that issue-centric commentary, I wanna bash appearances (despite the old adage of appearances being deceiving). That's what the internet needs more of." The algorithm needs chlorine.

Agreed, although this video, of all videos, has two commenters hell-bent about making this video about my appearance. Gosh, that's how we fix depression! Go around calling people fat p*ss*es! *eye roll* The internet really is just a 4th grade locker room, FFS
