Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to UA-cam videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.

you my friend are an unsung hero
Yes… they help me get to sleep. It’s like white noise as I know the content so we’ll I don’t have to pay much attention to the words, but it’s relaxing to quietly chuckle to the familiar stuff. It is brilliant. The 3 of them work so well together
I listen every night ManMoth. Personally I just want to listen as it helps me sleep. I wouldn’t read the content. Do you own the original tapes? I’d be interested in your story. How did you get all the episodes ? I do love the compilations and I reckon its Gervais’ best work- not to mention Steve’s and KP’s. Thanks !
How is this shambles of a show, 20 years later still the best radio ever broadcast?
Hamish and Andy, did get close, but this is so good.
@@dennyshawyer1993 really? Hamish and Andy? The K man could do his own thing and it'd rate higher.
@matthew1039 he does and it doesn't haha
Because we now live in a pathetic, sycophantic country of rainbows.
@@fullenglish3371 What does that mean?
i have listened to these for 5 years now on loop. is anyone else that addicted?
I keep wondering when im gonna get bored but it never comes
I occasionally have a break for a couple months but then I'll go through 3 series in a week.
Three years for me now. I usually listen to them with my full attention (about two or three episodes a day) all the way through, and then when I'm done, I listen to them while occasionally distracted. Then when I go back again, they're fresh. And I'm surprised- I must be on my 30-40th time round these, and I keep hearing new things I've never heard before.
I'm on my 4th round in 6 years now :p I forget a lot of the little jokes if there's been a year inbetween
ten years. i think it's basically stockholm syndrome at this point.
He knew it was funny
It was meant to be funny
He said it to be funny
And it was
Well done
I always loved Richard Anderson's comments towards the show. I had depression for 3 years during my 10 year stint at First bus as a driver, and I'd bet that if i had listened to these guys first then i could've been cured a lot faster. I absolutely love these guys. I discovered the animated Ricky Gervais Show when it first came out on DVD, and after i got into XFM I've never looked back. Every night without fail i listen to every XFM video i can on UA-cam on my tablet. I often laugh along with them....and that Rockbusters cracks me up. Monkey news absolutely kills me. The chimp who robs the robber and goes back to the zoo and pays off the zookeeper to let him and his chimp mates out😅. The chimp who beats the female cyclist on his tricycle....Karl has a gem of a mind. HEAD LIKE A F##KING ORANGE, KARL THE K-MAN PILKERS, KARL THE K-MAN PILKOIDS. I cannot get enough of it. I have literally laughed more with this than Tom and Jerry, Looney Toones and Oggy and the Cockroaches. Look at his little face.
“Right, that’s the end of THAT feature.” - Ricky Gervais, 2002-2005

My bf thinks I am insane for listening to these for so long on repeat but he doesn’t yet understand that it beats everything else on the internet.

The comment sections of these playlists might be my absolute favourite place on the internet.
Karl is so proud at how he worked ‘hypotenuse’ into the story 😂😂
Lmao, yeah. The best part is that it makes no sense. Definitely not how a hypotenuse works. 😂
He lost 7 years of his lifespan as a result of the brainpower he had to exert to think of that one.
Technically if the midget flew off the trampoline at an upward angle, that would have been the hypotenuse before dropping vertically to the floor (or into the hippos mouth)
Steve dropped that gem in, and Karl had no idea what he was talking about. It took Ricky a second to remember what it meant, then he couldn’t stop laughing. Hypotenuse and ‘my pogo stick act is never going to work’ are two of the greatest ever interjections - full credit Steve
I love it when Karl says, 'they weren't properly', makes me giggle every time.
Well, they*were* a bit demicky.
Who knew this radio is better than 99% than what's put here today. Great work thanks for uploading all this❤
99%??? Blasphemy, my good sir! It is the greatest bit of media of all time. And I challenge you to a duel!! Choose your weapon 🔫🔪
I need to ask the fabulous public who listen to this as I do...
are you listening in the background every chance you get?
In the shower, walking the dog, driving, ironing clothes, cooking etc....
And do you ever think: is this healthy? then start a new episode! :)
I listen to them at work on Mondays. It really gets me running out of the house, eager to get to work!
Crook570 I'm unwell at the minute & I fell asleep giggling earlier this afternoon & last night too. Makes being ill bareable
Crook570 I'm listening to it whilst playing Overwatch
Every day at work. I work up a sweat holding in laughs because I share an office with 5 other people.
At work, on the way to and from work, and while playing video games.
I absolutely love how Karl slowly figures out that he gets ridiculed for not providing an exact date, so he makes the year more and more precise...
Eh, I see your point, but *precise* is pushing it 😂
52:25 “I haven’t been educated. I feel like I’ve lost something - time in my life that I can never get back. I feel like I’ve sort of been soiled. I don’t know where to start. I’m angry.”
Has to be the best answer to a question in the history of time.
the first bit is just the standard comment on UA-cam where you really want to have a stab at someone's awful video. But the "I'm angry" puts it into a new realm xD
I probably skipped to the next video already, but the Educating Ricky where Karl states "this one isn't good, but money for old rope?" and Ricky and Steve go: "that was pretty interesting", just sums up Karl ánd Educating Ricky. He has nó clue what is even remotely useful information, ór what the other two guys are interested in.
Ya know what I mean? I'm angry.
Can't forget that part!
My favorite ending to any of the shows.
“Will it be any good next week?!”
This is the first show that the Rockbusters clues start to get more "craptic", love how Karl justifies it by saying it's bin running for 4 weeks!
Also it's the first time Ricky cancells Rockbusters (which basically happens every show from now on)
"We're never doing this again"
Almost another catchphrase, along with "Play a record" lol.
It’s typical of Karl to start to get jaded after about 12 bands. 😂
Karl loses interest so fast lmao. It's like the first educating Ricky that he did, and when he read it out he let's out this huge sigh first, then goes "right there was this bloke... Think it was in America..." Just completely lost interest on the very first one. Legend.
Lest we forget, 4 weeks is the longest he’s lasted at anything in the past. After Leroy battered him at boxing and Twiggy’s dance club was shut, he managed to stay with the Crusaders for about weeks, and even then only going on Fridays. So 4 weeks was pretty much a record for him at that point
Crazy how old these are but are timeless
I'm sick and tired of not getting a good, decent compost of a Saturday.
That's why I live up north, where there's loads of gravel and animal shite.
They weren't...properly
+Tom Fry They were a bit demicky so they weren't properly? SORRY. KARL? What are you doing??
+Tom Fry One of my favourites from Karl. Never fails to make me laugh.
one of the best things he's ever said. the way and words
Rick Waller.......jogging.
I *still* love that to Karl, Jonathan Ross is just "a lad who works at the BBC."
Re-Listening to these for the hundredth time. Man Moth, you are a legend! I love listening to these whilst drawing. Thank you for uploading these!!
hee I listen to them whilst painting :)
Yes! And cooking!
Yaas!! :D
Me too!! 😁😁
Kerry Gallagher 😁😁
"I'm sick of seeing them magazines when I'm sat down"
the video was the best
"A bloke who...uhm...I dunno he was messin' about with a chainsaw"
get a lobe of that!
jcrawley1 and his arm came off...
It "went long".
It wasnt prop'ly
Doctor: Someone else lost an arm and doesn’t want it back. I can give you this arm.
Patient: ugh. Fine!
I love the thought that these episodes being popular on any platform was something these three never expected
I can’t believe after so long I’m still here, listening to show after show!
"Demicky...they weren't properly."
🤣😂😂😂🤣😂😂
Steve whispering "ungrateful bastard" under his voice at 42:08 gets me every single time I get back around to this episode.

There's a little midget...

ou7ofspace he has a point! And now I've taken on the thing about referring to people as "little fellas" 😂 this was pointed out to me by mates wife...who is from Salford much like Karl. Oh the irony 😀
I like how I've watched these many times and I still don't remember the right answers to the rockbusters haha
Haha same! It’s like hearing it fresh every time. I only remember the odd one
Really? Lol, I guess I've been around way too long. I always remember them. To the point that if I hear the band / artist name in real life, I'll say the clue to whoever I'm with. It always gets a great response. Dad joke level.
"Damn I wish you'd have invited me it sounds... Amazinnnnggg"

Had spaghetti ball-ig-nase.
47:44 - “It went long”
48:18 - “They weren’t... properly. SORRY, KARL. What are you doing?”
The last 15 seconds:
Ricky: What about Rockbusters, are you going to make the clues proper cryptic clues?
Karl: Well, that's the teaser, innit. That's what we'll leave 'em with!
Haha, brilliant!
haha, will it be any good next week! stay tuned
"Flew off at a *hypotenuse* " 😂😂😂 jesus christ!
How many times did Ricky cancel Rockbusters only to bring it back on the next show? LOL. :-)

Only my 98th time listening to these all the way from series 1 episode 1 to the last season of the last episode...
I win.
These shows are therapy.
Loved the podcasts and everything else they did for years but now only just listening to XFM
Me and I'm sure many other regular commenters on man moth's videos are jealous that you're experiencing these fresh for the first time. Most of us obsessive fans are at our 5th or 6th run through :)
+TheOssumPawesome Very jealous!
TheOssumPawesome I've been listening daily for five years now. I'm jealous of those who are still on their 5/6th time round! x
My co-worker asked me the other day..."have you ever heard of Karl Pilkington?" I almost fell out of my chair I was so excited! She only knew him from the Idiot Abroad series. As I explained to her all the other things Karl has done, I was overwhelmed with jealousy in that she gets to listen to his drivel for the first time! I hope she knows how lucky she is!
@@TheOssumPawesomeAmen. I must be in my 50th run by now. How about you, seven years later?
Who is the Man behind the moth?
Dicky Anderson
A real man is more than just the moth you see.
DICKERS.
YOU LIL DOCKY DOO.
Don't think I've laughed out loud like I have during the 'hippopotenuse' part
These shows are so important. I hope Gerv, Smerch and Karly Pilkboys know that
Ricky, ya cheeky little devil, Gervais
Steve, alright ladies. Can I get you something to drink? What are you mental? I meant 'alf a mild or something, Merchant.
And Karl, oooooo I'm stressed. I'm stressed. If it's too hard I don't want to do it, *PILKINGTON*
Just listening to this one again, I still laugh at "his 'at he chewed" 😊
educating ricky is one of the best shows ever, of all time, in the whole universe
👌
i love the name of your channel man moth lol thanks for all these xfm uploads. i really really appreciate it!
***** Has it got anything to do with Norm Macdonald's moth never ending story ????
At some point in one of the xfm shows, ricky said something about mammoths, but carl thought he heard man moth :P
It's a good guess Luuke Furtado but Henataspazz is right, it's from this episode at 34 mins... ua-cam.com/video/kmoMyEYU4zc/v-deo.html
Man Moth Yes mate....Spot on....Thanks for all the great uploads.....I'm kinda getting addicted to it and it's effecting my performance at work.....Ah fuck it I don;t care :-)
Haha, you're very welcome. I know it sounds sad, but I've listened to them for so many years now and still loving them. Glad you're enjoying them :-)
One of the best episodes.
"Yea, yea, yea... stone clad it"

Must have listened to this episode 15+ times over the years. Still don't know what "dimmicky" is...
This is one of the best ones
Man Moth thank you for these. I used to listen every Saturday when I worked in a card & gift shop. I'd be cracking up laughing & the old women would get offended when Ricky would say 'bollocks' made my Saturday so much better. Now these are making my evenings
Think about how those old ladies are almost certainly dead 😂. Maybe one is the old lady reading a book who lives across from Karl.
Lol Elastica/his last sticker 45:41 is the first appearance of the little Jamaican fella but without him saying it in the clue.
I love his Jamaican names

It was weird at the time tbh.
There was a transition period there where VHS and DVD coexisted, I still have a combination VHS/DVD player from that time. Wasn't really weird yet by 2002, 2003.

Hippotenuse has to be top five segments in the history of the XFM era, surely!
Underrated comment from Steve as it was almost drowned out by Ricky: "Which Einstein book was that, the Theory of Relativity?"
They weren't properly.. classic

The sound of Ricky's laugh has gone from mildly annoying to pure heroine. I need it now.
