Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to UA-cam videos for each track). I just came from a XFM video that had, no-bullshit, 28 adds. Admittedly the video was about 4 hours long but 28 fucking adds? That's pure greed, all they did was upload someone elses content.

ShoeLube most of these songs were probably forced on them by XFM. i found an xfm compilation album from 2002 and it has all this stuff on there. Black rebel motorcycle club, turin brakes etc. All the older stuff was probably chosen by Ricky and Steve tho

I *really* don't want to rain on your parade, but editing music back in is probably a big risk for getting them taken down for copyright infringement. :( I warn everyone against uploading episodes with music in, at least to UA-cam, we don't want this stuff blacklisted en masse. You're 'free' to do what you want on your own pc though, obviously ;)
All you'd need then is one of them little Rainman-fellas or Forrest-Gumps that remembers all the ads and you're laughing :P

Louie Cafarella in one of the podcasts Ricky says that since Karl isn’t working he has a lot of time on his hands and has more time to focus on his weird thoughts. I kinda buy into that because he seems weirder by the time of the podcasts. In season 1 of the xfm show he actually seems genuinely happy.

Think i've listened to these shows for about 10 times, but it's the first time i realise Gervais unintentionally 'helps' Steve in getting the right answer, by saying the word 'for' (thinking out loud) EXACTLY after Steve said 'devil'. In any kind of guessing game/brainstorming/creative process, such an association of words works wonders :) and you can see Steve gets it immediately.

You're not wrong Kevin. I really enjoyed the Office, Extras didn't wow me and Life's Too Short was awful. If I had to be on a desert island I would definitely pick these over anything else they have made. Would have Karl's books too.
