It figures that if the story is true that Courtney would say something like that to Sinead who had more talent in one pinky finger than Courtney has all together just proves how insufferable Courtney can be.
We'll both weren't that talented really but as much as I dislike Courtney you can't deny how intelligent,smart and dgaf she is. Sinead O'Connor wasn't the smartest and didn't really do much music

@@MrThedonhead I beg to differ I’m not saying Sinead is the greatest musician or performer to ever exist but you can’t deny that Sinead’s debut album the Lion and the Cobra hands down beats anything Courtney has ever produced. Sinead was much more punk rock than Courtney could ever be.
@@thepacific8363 true. Much of Courtney music and lyrics literally could've been written by others. Sineade songs you could tell wre all about herself experience succinctly. And she OWNED "Nothing compares to U' she bested Prince and he KNEW it.
Prince wanted the fat old woman in his NPG band to make it famous.

Lollapalooza...95 was the best with Jesus Lizard, Pavement and Sonic Youth. Here in Pittsburgh Hole stopped their set because someone threw shotgun shells on stage.

It was crazy. CL stopped about mid song. It was an outdoor amphitheater and nobody knew why they stopped and left until what i guess was someone from the venue at that time it was called Star lake amphitheater well this gentleman came out and came to the microphone and told everyone exactly what happened
Some people were obviously disappointed some people were thinking it was you know even back then people knew something was up and that whole situation and even if that's a kind of a dark thing to do .whoever did that it shows The situation was obvious and it had an impact on people to the point where they would do something like that where people were happy it happened It was surreal to see. I seen them in the club the in the fall before that in Pittsburgh and Eric and Patty were outside you really didn't know who they word first and he answers about a restaurant up the street and they're actually cool and not snobbish from what I remember. But Sonic is came on a little earlier I think they played longer and it got dark and they had this light show and it was amazing they did like the whole 20-minute version of the diamond Sea. Was a great time.

Thanks for the news and love what you did with your hole T-shirt! It’s sad what happened to Sinead, as her life was full of chaos and she desperately needed guidance. I read that in 2016, she ended up having a whole feud with her oldest son and ex-husband, as she was not doing very well at the time. It sucks when mental health issues lead to torn relationships. May she Rest In Peace ❤.
Courtney hasn’t released an album since 2010 ( nobody’s daughter) she gave up on music pretty much. Let’s support indie grunge bands instead of boring Courtney ! Excellent video!

Sinead left because she was pregnant and felt ill every day. It was a joke that Sinead was seen with Courtney one night and fled the tour the next day. I remember it happening and it’s easily searchable.

We used to call them "Puddle of Creedsmack" back in high school because they all sounded the same and were obsessed with the word "AWAY." When Layne sang "I stay away," I felt it, I believed it. When Kurt wails "Go away!" In Scentless Apprentice, I felt it, I believed him. Those other bands were just cheap knock-offs to me, trying to fill the void Nirvana left behind. But I'm no gatekeeper, It's whatever. Nevermind.

Post grunge the absolute worst genre hands down. If Kurt Cobain was around to hear Seether and puddle of Mudd he would shoot himself
We called them hat bands. Is Puddle of mud the one with the singer who wears the base BB all cap backwards? And fred durst. The early 90s were revolutionary...to the point that them people had to start heavily spoon feeding the masses with new music on those local"alternative* radio stations. Nu metal...
The Offspring made good use of “away”. They really defined young people of that time well. I liked them and Silverchair.
Did you ever consider as a teen or back then to veer off the "mainstream path" and listen to more obscure bands ,Naked Raygun, nofx, agent orange, dead Kennedy's, tsol, black flag etc, that's what I learned from Kurt's death, that's where I went on my journey after Nirvana. I needed to know where that guys inspirations started and the whole punk thing as well as the many bands Kurt complimented like the pixies screaming trees, vasolines , soul asylum, even the muffs had a great screaming chick ,Kim Shattuck that could strip the paint off the walls with a Shreek .man the 90's were just TOO F**KIN AWESOME TO absorb it all ....😊

Line-up for Lollapalooza '92: RHCP, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, Jesus & Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, and Lush. Depending on your town, side acts could be RATM, Cypress Hill, Porno for Pyros and/or STP. At Jones Beach (NY), Anthrax's Scott Ian popped up, and Eddie Vedder climbed pretty much all overhead rigging and speaker towers. Temple of the Dog songs happened at some point and they were glorious. Imagine a giant, all-day slightly-kooky carnival, featuring those musical artists, for less than $30/ticket!

I agree about the U2 thing. They had 1 good album. Or as far as I know, they only had 1 album. Also Bono kinda seems a little full of himself. Idk, that's just my opinion. Also very sad about Sinead.😥
1 good album? Um, try numerous, Boy, War, The Unforgittable Fire, October, The Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Actung Baby, Zooropa, etc. they had way more than 1 good album. Smh.

Creed isn’t going on a tour, really. They are reuniting for a cruise with a bunch of other 90s bands. Alter Bridge, which is former Creed members except Scott, and Myles Kennedy singing lead instead, are finishing up a tour this year from their latest album, Pawns and Kings, their 7th album. They are a very talented post grunge/hard rock band that kicks ass! If you haven’t heard them, you are missing out!

RIP Sinead 🙏🙏. Another interesting fact about her is that Anthony Kiedis dated her for a while. He spoke so fondly of her in his memoir 'Scar Tissue'. I'm sure all the music community will remember Sinead fondly.

That accoustic guitar is definitely on "tour" I recently saw it in Sydney Australia. Rhodes microphones are also the some of the best mics in the game. Im surprised you've never heard of them.

I know you're more of a hard rock guy, but man, I would love to see you do at least one vid on folk musician Elliott Smith, he was in a band that was more grungy early in his career though. His death is coming up on 20 years ago later this year. Him and Nirvana were my absolute top 2 especially when I was younger and everyone considers his death a s****** but its officially undetermined and theres a lot of interesting stuff and similarities to Kurt.
Is the nirvana series going to continue anytime soon? Not to be mean but I pretty much subscribed for that kinda content.

Come on Lollapalooza hahahaha. I kinda like this format, I just got back from Godsmack and Staind and Staind killed it fucking Godsmack had us wait 2 & 1/2 hours just to say they weren't fucking playing kinda ruined my son (16) and daughter (6) first concert. Both bands were huge in late 90's!! Damn Sinead is gone I just watched a thing about her turning to Islam and singing again and I actually say her voice was better..

Sinaid did make more music and wrote books here in Ireland this is well known it would take a better class of mess to fell sinaid come on she's Irish and here in Dublin we often would see her out and about she has been prolific poor old Courtney and she's loved in Ireland she also would know that her behaviour would be tolerated for a time and then she would be ignored as you would a petulant child and so Courtney knows this and knows as an Irish person from then on sinaid would treat her like she not there to the point of looking through Courtney like a window pain if she ever bumped in to her again in short she used disdain to her advantage and sure I don't doubt Courtney knows Irish disdain from the time she lived here
