I just wanted to say thank you, not only for helping me farm mats but to actually make me fall back in love with the game. I had never explored as far as this before, you made me buy a Diamond Back Explorer , engineer it, Guardian FSD it and enjoy the galaxy. I was stuck doing repetitive combat etc before in my Anaconda. Thanks dude.
There's an even easier method. You don't need the SRV. Just put 1 or 2 "Remote Release Flak Launcher" and a "Collector Limpet Controller" on your ship. Shoot at the crystals with remote release flak launcher and fly high up until the crystals or brain trees no longer visible on your screen and fire your collector limpets. This way the limpets won't get stuck, cause they already derendered, but the materials you shot down from them will remain. Wait for the limpets to collect all materials. Reconnect, and do the same, til you get all you need.
You're absolutely right guys. It's not the fastest way. It's more like faster. Probably I need to change the title of the video. But I meant the way itself, and not the method. And I just wanted to say that this way still works. Maybe in the future I'll make a guide on the fastest method. Anyway, thanks for the comments. It helps me learn how to make the guide more informative. O7 🤝
Good video. Old information but an updated, fresh, video is always welcome. Brain Trees (at c.300 LY out from the bubble) are available for everything but some require you to go to a specific co-ordinates. You can do missiles from above then collect with limpets, but it is often nice to drive around. It is further out but there is a very large Selenium Brain Tree orchard 1.2km away from the Guardian Obelisk Data farming point where you can sit in your SRV and spin the turret to get 3, then log out to the main menu and back in again.
@@williamvorkosigan5151 Absolutely right. I just wanted to point out that the "crystalline shards/brain trees" option still works. And I tried to make a short but informative guide.
I'm a fan of taking noobs to Synuefe GT-H B43-1 for their FSD Booster unlock. It has a (low grade) brain tree forest just outside the Guardian site, which allows me to teach them raw farming at the same time.
For the right spot for Polonium you need to go to planet C 1 A in the system HIP 36601, then scan the planet and select crystalline shards in the filter and approach. All crystalline clusters should give you Polonium. But I'll fly there to doublecheck. Maybe frontier nerfed it somehow. I'll be back with an update sooner.
I'm on this planet right now and double checked. Every single crystalline cluster gives me polonium. Make sure you're in the right system and on the right planet. Once you selected the crystalline shards in the signal filter, make sure you're approaching the greenish marked spot in the blue area.
@@SciGameOne ok so after rewatching the video I found out what I did wrong. I didn't switch the filter on the DSS and just landed in one of the blue zones on the planet. After taking off swapping the filter to clusters and landing in the green area it all worked out. Thanks!

flak launcher %100 more easier. U can full the storage in 15 minutes per grade 5 material with that way

is it still working after reconnecting? I found that the materials didn't respawn
@ u have to quit to desktop and relog again
@melihkara oh, i will try it later thx

Excellent work Commander. Need that Tellurium for fleet FSD upgrades. Making hundreds of millions from selling the old drives. :)
This video is a pure GOLD. Thank you SIR o7

Well done
I went to farm polonium but the crystal clusters only give me iron. Am I in the wrong spot?
