I have been watching your videos they are great, just a question what is the fair AD profit margin to when they buy a watch from an end user at a price and sell it to another. How much do you reckon the difference is?

Great new video!! Ok so funny enough I have taken a whole new liking to the Daytona that you wear and it’s DEFINITELY from me seeing it in your videos .. I’ve got the ghost but the yellow gold edges it out alittle bit no doubt!! ONE reason Im excited for the new oysterflex Daytonas and that’s because they’ve got the glidelock finally so I quite excited about that feature being added.. I feel like it’s necessary for the oysterflex ! OK random question for you, can you tell me why do some AD’s hold the white tag back.. I find that there are more and more brand new unworn amazing pieces for sales on open market these days WITHOUT the white tag.. but why!! Lol to what benefit on earth is it for an AD to keep onto those ESPECIALLY when some of them are being sold out the backdoor directly to the open market !?? Lookin forward to your reply.. Thanks I appreciate it. We sold for ££20k but was new unworn. We have a pre-owned coming in stock this week priced at £18k. As long as you look after it when wearing it you will be fine. They are meant to be worn 👍🏻

I'm 'allowed' a Daytona on OF from the AD. I know the new ones aren't out yet but which one would you choose for investment purposes...Ghost, the new black and silver or the Pikachu? Please do give a definitive answer, your best guess is good enough..I won't hold you to it!😊

For me it’s between the Ghost and the Pikachu. If I had to make a decision ( which is very hard ) I would say the Pikachu as I absolutely love it. 👌🏻

@@thehonestwatchdealer I love the SD43 as well, but core to my current acquisition strategy is to only buy watches where I can get instant equity. My read of the the market is that there is no 'instant equity' to be had from the SD43 from an AD since far few buyers for that watch than the sub. Do I have that right? Many thanks.

I may be odd as I also like the new air king but I prefer the submariner (without date) myself , I think it looks cleaner, I'm not keen on Cyclops, I can never be bothered to set the date and the "submariner" has no date hence the one with the date is called submariner date.

I realize a lot of these go straight into collections and are never worn and to me that's kind of sad. I have two rose gold 41mm datejust's so I can have both the oyster and jubilee bracelets, a 41mm no date sub and an 06 pre-ceramic daytona that I rotate between daily. These are such incredible watches to wear.

It does not matter a toss to used watch dealers if prices are rising or falling - as long as they turn stock fast enough. If the marker falls - so does their buying price & selling price, margins remain much the same - so if you feel the market will drop - then wait to buy later. Since I have decades long AD histories, I'm not a stooge either for anyone either.

Yes, any watch as long its not AP, cos if u opt for ROO 3126 caliber enhancement, AP will change 59jewels,to 54jewels, the watch gets lighter, the min hand will jump everytime u adjust the time. A watch not for the nex gen......

Any watch in 18k gold will be heavy on the wrist and on top of that 18k is rather soft and will therefore scratch and dent much more than 904L steel.

Shakedown …….there are certain watches now that fall under list. The market is dropping fast guys like this (grey market) want you to believe that the prices are holding…..they aren’t. These guys are lying to you. I got a bluesy 2 weeks ago from an AD and my buddy got one 3 weeks before that from his AD. Neither one of us has a purchase history with these ADs. I’m not big AD fan either……at least from an AD you know it’s new and authentic. Guys like this are getting desperate
@Johnny B I was similar to you at first ( anti grey market ) but now I've realised that I don't want to play the AD's silly games ( buying jewellery or unpopular watches ) just to get the watch that you want. Obviously there are good and bad dealers, you just got to find a good one. This guy and Vinny from Beat The Waitlist seem the best of the bunch from the UK watch vloggers.
You sound like an absolute muppet , the reason you got a bluesey is because they are no where near as sought after as any other Rolex , hence why you got one so quick . If you get even a datejust a retail for £8800 , some dealers are still buying them of people for a good 11 grand .

You have a well running business but please stop talking about rare watches. You sold 13 in one months, they are not rare. F…AD’s and their flipping buddies ……..Rolex has to sort this flipping game. I hope Rolex will close more AD’s and get their distribution in order. Like the watches, like your content but very much dislike these flippers.

Why do people have an issue with people/flippers earning a £. I have a nice rolex collection all bought from the AD, and I have to admit a significant part of the appeal is the fact it takes a significant amount of effort to aquire a rolex from the AD.
I could have bought a G sieko which is better quality but just too easy to get.

But I have a problem with greedy AD’s, getting 30% discount from Rolex already and even then have to sell to their flipping buddies and making even more, sad. What about collectors, real watch lovers, first time buyers? Rolex could easily follow up but they don’t. I have only Rolex watches but I will not buy one more and play that game.
